We need correctly named institutions and identifiers

0

Every society recognizes its hero’s and inspiring leaders. In addition, it celebrates its achievers and its heritage. So it’s time India recognizes its glorious inheritance and contributors.

One of the most important ways to keep people enslaved is to ensure that they do not feel they deserve better or should have their freedom. To do this, their self-confidence, pride, and skill set must be destroyed and kept as required by the masters.

In India, the foundation of British rule was done by wise men who did everything to ensure India remained in their control and became a milking cow. Therefore, making a community feel inferior by criticizing customs and telling them that they have been under the alien rule for long (only partially correct) and are not deserving better was done in a systemic matter.

Even after the transfer of power in ’47, roads named after British Viceroys’ were changed, and the statues of British kings, viceroys, and others were moved out.

In Black Lives Matter: slave holder’s statues were pulled down in the US and UK.

In an overdue action, let us get out of the ‘Stockholm syndrome’ and reclaim some self-respect.

  1. Rename India:

The first line of Part I of the Indian Constitution itself says ‘India, that is Bharat’. Can India not be called Bharat? Why India?

  • Celebrate Actual Independence Day:

Logically Independence Day is Oct. 21st when Netaji declared free India. We must not forget that it was recognized by 11 countries and had its own bank, armed forces, postage stamp, and currency.

The Capital of free India was Port Blair, already free from the British.

  • First Prime Minister:

First Prime Minister of free India, head of Provisional government of Free India was Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and should be recognized.

  • Change Images on Currency Notes:

In a monarchy, the images on notes are that of a King or a Queen. In a democracy, thst place belongs to its leaders and achievers, and founding fathers. Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bhagat Singh and Chandra Sekhar Azad are the right choices. Fighting for freedom was a collective effort and a long-term relay race. Therefore, giving entire credit to Gandhiji is a fake and dishonest narrative.

  • Rename Roads: Please!

Each place in the country has enough local heroes who await recognition. This will also ensure that the contribution of everyone to the freedom movement is recognized. The Indian freedom was not due to the solo efforts of a person or two.

  • Rename Cities:

Who names their cities for invaders, murders, and butchers? It is shameful that there are still Bakhtiyarpur, Babarpur and Shahjahanabad, and so on.

  • Demolish Invader Tombs:

These are symbols of oppression and suppression. No tombs were made in Arabia, so it is not a religious requirement. So why does Delhi need a tomb for Humayun and Aurangabad for Aurangzeb? Stockholm Syndrome?

Let us take pride in our inheritance and sense of accomplishment to set higher goals and achieve them. Shackles of past which have been dragging performance back need a removal.

Let us give people the right heroes!

Dutch students face neglect as the Pro-Education second-largest Party in the parliament roll-out red carpet for asylum-seekers

0

As the plane makes a half-circle to aim the final landing approach of the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in Holland, the rows of Dutch houses laid in straight and circular shapes comes within hand’s reach. A tiny village with brownish-black houses divided by a narrow straight road, complete with a church and dull emerald green fields where cows graze endlessly, looks like an 18th-century photo frame from the window seat. Little in this frame say about the housing crisis in Holland that takes its toll on youths and students by making housing out of reach due to shortage and skyrocketing prices. Left-leaning Dutch caretaker government and its coalition partner pro-education party D66 have neither a credible solution nor a desire to find one. Red carpet welcome for asylum seekers, mainly coming from Morocco, Turkey, Algeria and Afghanistan, guarantees accommodation and food while they wait to get legal resident status.

In the last decade, Holland or The Netherlands has seen its rising popularity for higher education. Lured by high-quality education, functional spoken English on streets and openness of society, international and European students have flocked to already overcrowded university towns. Student accommodation is limited, expensive and often of poor quality. For local students, housing scarcity is a painful but familiar topic but it puts new foreign students landing at a bigger disadvantage. Students fall prey to fraudsters who exploit them by quoting exorbitant rents for substandard and even non-existent accommodation.

A woman said that his son, Bert would stay in a caravan in his first university year. Maria, a young Spanish student shared an apartment with 6 adults in an apartment in the Amsterdam Bijlmer area. Her room rental cost was Eur 600 per month. A private student housing block in the Amsterdam Sloterdijk area costs EUR 550 per month for a dark and dingy room with a shared kitchen and toilet for 6 pupils. Covid pushed many students to study from home in the last academic year. This time the acute housing scarcity made universities issue a warning to the incoming students but the pro-education D66 has failed to take notice.

D66 is a liberal democratic party that traditionally positioned itself as a pro-education party. D66 website displays its motto “Freedom begins with Education”. Under its perilously left-leaning leader, Sigrid Kaag, the D66 has become a party better known for bringing refugees from war-torn countries in the Middle East. The leader of D66, Mrs Sigrid Kaag, who is also the Minister of Foreign Affairs, is preoccupied with finding housing for asylum-seekers whose numbers run in thousands while the students sleep on the streets. She routinely goes for photo-ops including the one with a Syrian man living in a refugee detention centre. On 24-Aug, riots broke out to protest against setting up transit housing for refugees in the Dutch province of Gelderland known for picturesque landscapes dotted with castles and tiny villages. The rioters were local youths hundreds in number. Mrs Kaag swiftly branded them “heartless” with no compassion and showed them the moral mirror of the tolerant Dutch value system. In her leadership, asylum-seekers get prioritized and vulnerable young students get neglected.

In 2021, Holland has admitted 1673 Afghan refugees and another 21500 have sought to be airlifted. The refugee settlement policy is a contentious issue for the local communities. Local governments vie for more refugees settlements to get more budget from the central government but local residents invariably protest against such moves. In some areas, nuisance created by asylum-seekers has gone to the extent that a dedicated police unit has been formed to keep them under check.

Before the Afghan crisis erupted, Holland received more than half of the asylum seekers from four Islamic countries – Syria, Algeria, Morocco and Turkey. After arrival, they are put in transit accommodation, the amenities of which will put five-star European camping sites to shame. Once granted legal status, the asylum seekers undergo an intensive civic integration program to teach them the Dutch value system encompassing gay rights, equality of women, and religious tolerance. Under the same tolerant value system, legal soft drugs and well-regulated prostitution exist, which even seems outrageous to other Europeans. People coming from repressive societies hide the culture shock and acquiesce in return for the right to stay. In spite of tens of millions Euro spent in integration programmes, the beneficiaries have used them as a revolving door between the comfortable European lifestyle and the gruesome activities that they fled from and sought asylum for.

One such Syrian asylum seeker Aziz (35), a leader of terror group Jabhat al-Nusra, participated in 19 murders in Syria in 2012. Aziz successfully got asylum and legal resident status in 2014 by fraudulently claiming to be a graduate from the University of Damascus, even after getting his visitor visa denied earlier. The dubious claim of pro-asylum activists that asylum seekers will support the knowledge economy stands exposed when the background checks are woefully inadequate.

Mrs Kaag, the leader of D66, is married to a Palestinian man who was a minister in the PLO government. Her credentials include a degree in middle eastern studies and a stint as a diplomat. She speaks fluent Arabic. She covered her head during a visit to Iran out of respect for ‘their’ culture. She responded to her critics that it was a mission for the security of Holland. Perplexingly enough, she does not expect asylum-seekers to show the same respect for Dutch culture where burqa, hijab and polygamy are the symbols of regressive religious practices.  Holland has not become more secure with her red carpet policy for asylum seekers.

In the national parliamentary election held in March, D66 emerged as the 2nd largest party by winning 24 seats out of 150 seats. Barring four parties, 13 others scored single-digit seats. This has boosted the chances of Mrs Kaag becoming the Dutch prime minister in an intractable coalition for which the negotiations are in progress fruitlessly for over six months.

European liberal democratic politics prevented communism and fascism to take over Europe after World War II by offering a progressive alternative that promised to deliver social welfare and human development. In the subsequent decades, the left has successfully morphed itself into liberal democrats. Unless the Dutch society is able to recognize this change, Bas, Maria and numerous other Dutch students will go shelterless and penniless in the winter while asylum-seekers enjoy coffee with cheese sandwiches in their centrally heated transit parks.

Update:

Dutch courts have given Jihadi Aziz A. and his brother Fatah 15 and 11 years prison sentences on 20 Sept. Mrs Kaag has resigned from the post of acting minister of foreign affairs. The Dutch government is adding hundreds of houses for asylum seekers on a war footing. Students in the Free University (VU) of Amsterdam protested against the housing shortage on 23 Sept but the government took no concrete action so far.

Why Hindus are being killed in Bangladesh

Islam has been a restless and anxious cult since its inception. The restlessness and anxiety ingrained in it had made it violent, intolerant and exclusive. Following the death of Muhammad, early Islamic kingdom went through three major civil wars to address the restlessness of violent power struggle. The Islam we see today got crystallized during late seventh to tenth centuries.

The extreme weather events of 535 AD to 536 AD were the most severe and protracted short-term episodes of cooling in the Northern Hemisphere in the previous 2000 years. The event is thought to have been caused by an extensive atmospheric dust veil, possibly resulting from a large volcanic eruption. Its effects were widespread, causing unseasonable weather, crop failures, and famine worldwide.

The poor and primitive tribes of Arabian Desert were a scared lot following the extreme weather events. Muhammad was born in Mecca in 570 AD, barely 35 years after the said natural disaster. The community was ready to face extinction within years and was keenly waiting for a savior. Muhammad fitted into the demand and became the ‘last Prophet’ as universal destruction, called “Day of Judgment” was not far away.

So, time was very short to face the Day of Judgment (Keyamat) and all ideas of ‘best religion’, ‘best Prophet’, ‘unbelievers being enemies of Allah’, ‘duty of converting unbelievers or killing them to please Allah’, ‘fearing the Allah’ and ‘complete submission to him’ became the main tenets of Islam. Though Keyamat has not come yet, the Islamic tenets, stated above, continue to dominate the Muslim psyche even after 1400 years. And Muslims remain a restless and anxious community with a violent intent to convert all unbelievers or kill them.

As a proof in Bangladesh, we come across an inscription upon a sixteenth century mosque built at Pabna locality of that country, by the Ilyas Shahi king Nasir al-din Nusrat Shah (reigned from 1519 to 1532 AD) which evokes the almighty to give the king opportunity to “uproot the enemies of Allah from among the unbelievers and polytheists”. This nature of the state or country or situation, whenever manifest, could lead to wide spread violence upon unbelievers and polytheists by the restless and anxious Muslim community.

During earlier days, Muslim never needed any pretext to kill unbelievers and destroy their temple and loot properties and women. But now-a-days, international situations have changed and they need some pretext to launch riot. Islamic blasphemy Sharia comes handy in such situation and one hears ‘insult of Prophet’, ‘insult of holy book’ etc. before large scale Islamic riot. Since the days of Muhammad, Muslims have been living like a ‘herd’ which they call Ummah. Muslims cannot think individually in religious matter. This can convert Muslims into a violent mob in no time. Over the centuries, Islam has become all about dominance over unbelievers and polytheists, – physical, social, economic and religious.

Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee resigned from Nehru’s first Cabinet in protest against the Nehru-Liyaqat Ali Pact of 1950 which, as per Dr Mookerjee, left the Hindus of East Pakistan (Bangladesh) at the mercy of Muslims. The Pact refused to accept the idea of exchange of minority population between India and Pakistan and made the minority hostage in either country. That was ridiculous, as it assumed equality in the violent nature of Hindus and Muslims. As Dr. Mookerjee expected, Hindus have been constantly persecuted in East Pakistan / Bangladesh since 1947 and their proportion of population decreased from 22 per cent in 1951 to about 10 per cent now, whereas Muslim population in India increased from 8 per cent to about 18 per cent during the same period. This demographic differential between India and Bangladesh is of great concern now for Hindus.

The bloody anti-Hindu riots, we are seeing across Bangladesh today (October 2021), was prefixed 1400 years back in Arabian Desert. Finding the cause(s) of riots with Awami League, BNP, India, ISI, JMB, Jamaati, or Hefajoti; – is futile, as all are secondary factors in the anti-Hindu riots in Islamic society of Bangladesh. It seems that about sixty per cent of Bangladeshi Muslims wants cleansing of Hindus. Thirty per cent remains silent and only ten percent speaks against the atrocities. One can draw a parallel of Bangladesh riots with the cleansing of Pandits in Kashmir valley. And the stupid stories of “terrorism has no religion” and “Islam is the religion of peace” go on playing like a broken record.

The design behind this phenomenon gets aptly described by the term Marxists’ ‘Marks Jihad’

Tell me what name should I give to this unusual phenomenon? In 2016, less than handful of applications with hundred percent in their best four subjects applied for admission in DU from the Kerala Board. In 2019, this number suddenly grew up to about 208 then 290 of them applied in 2020. And this year, almost 4800 applied with 100 percent marks in their best four.

Sorry, it is not merely a case of marks inflation by the boards, in general. The problem of marks inflation must be dealt with separately, but the issue raised by me is entirely different. I know, the term ‘Marks Jihad’ is harsh as it has been in use in the past to fan up emotions but it aptly describes this phenomenon with probably the communists behind the conspiracy this time.

Add this up to the fact that there are ‘hardly few’ who have applied for DU seats from Kerala Board who have less than hundred percent in their best four. Does anyone have a reason to offer? Why students with 98-99% as their best-four are not keeping DU as their choice?

Add this again to the fact that there is no apparent explanation of this unusually explosive surge in the attention of the students of Kerala for DU colleges. I have myself come to study in DU from Bihar and I know, DU colleges were preferred by students of Bihar and Eastern UP in early eighties till early nineties. After that, DU saw students coming in large number from Rajasthan, Haryana and Western UP, but all these had some explanations based on the socio-politico situation that prevailed in these states. The fact that the education infrastructure is far superior in DU as compared to these states; better education environment that students get here; are all plausible explanations. To top these all, the students from Hindi belt made a judicial choice of coming to a place where Hindi was commonly understood. The classroom conversation in all DU colleges are bilingual with Hindi and English being used commonly. I am yet to get a reason for such a peculiar behavior of students only from Kerala Board, strangely among them, only those who have secured perfect hundred percent in their best four. As per a first-hand account, many of these are neither comfortable in Hindi nor in English, while these being the only two languages presently in use in the DU classrooms.

But just tell me, what reasons can one offer for the near-absence of applicants from Kerala who have less than hundred percent in their best four? Only a well hatched conspiracy can explain such unusual figures and behaviors. I may not like a particular ideology but I can’t be justified for forcing anyone not to believe in that ideology. However, I feel completely justified in objecting to any attempt to manipulate the admission process with the aim to spread a particular ideology. It is an unfair practice, that must be exposed and protested. It is not as benign as they are being made out to be in the media by claiming that Boards are inflating marks. While many inflated marks can be attributed to the online examinations and generous evaluations, these figures can hardly be covered with these arguments.

For those intellectuals who often get miscarried by figures from authentic sources that do not apparently support my claim. Some of them being that the CBSE has given more than 99 percent only to 550 students and Kerala Board has given only to around 700 students, let me clarify that these are not the percentages in their best four subjects in class 12 – what DU requires for cut off. On the cut off criteria based on best four, according to the DU themselves, a total of 9200 applications were received with 100% in their best four subjects. Out of these, 3000 can be estimated from CBSE. 4800 were from Kerala Board (as admitted by the DU), and 1400 can be estimated from all the rest of the boards combined. What is often missed here is that while, CBSE and other boards have exceedingly large applicants from students having less than 100% marks in their best four, the number is negligibly small for Kerala Board.

When the DU registrar gave the numbers that out of 46054 students who got admission in the first list, 31172 belonged to CBSE and 2365 belonged to Kerala Board, 1540 from Haryana Board, 1429 from ISCE and 1301 from Rajasthan and other Boards. The numbers that he missed to provide were that out of these, about 31000 thousand CBSE aspirants got admitted with less than 100% and except 100-200, students from all other boards combined, got admitted with less than 100%. Inexplicably, almost negligible students from the Kerala Board claimed admission with less than 100% in the best four. These figures are unchallenged and are open proofs for the fact that students from Kerala Board has swept almost all the first cut off seats of some very prestigious colleges.

And to top these all absurdities, when all these students having 100% in their best four could have claimed admission in the best college (since no college had the capacity or reason to deny them), quiet inexplicably they have also chosen other colleges that are ranked much lower in public perception as well as in ranks given by authentic ranking agencies.

It can not be accepted that to send hundreds of volunteers, such a plot can not be hatched. I only wish that I am proved wrong but chances are very poor.

There is of course much that is left unsaid as whatever explanation that the story can hint at needs a serious study and research of the data on which I have hardly any access. A story needs to be unfolded that has kept itself under wrap. Attempts to intimidate and threaten me by the same corner only confirms that a foul smell is indeed about to come out of the carpet. The abnormal and unusual figures indicate towards a clear conspiracy. As an aware and alive citizen, it was my duty to raise an alarm on any suspicious development around my workplace. I am obliged to do that as per the regular announcements made by different government agencies. I have done that and thankfully people have noticed that. I only hope that those, who I wanted to alert, are actually alerted.

A note to the left about our Indian values

0

Few days back I came across a social media post which was mocking the ancient Hindu culture, flummoxed with the latent hate in that post I vested myself in the quest of the reason behind their intense dislike for the unprecedented Indian Culture.

This hatred can only be answered by the values and virtues of the glorious culture of this ancient land, Arsabharata, whose fundamental concept is no one be put to sufferings and everyone has an auspicious outlook, सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु मा कश्चिद्दुःखभाग्भवेत। (may all see what is auspicious, may no one suffer). Where the prayer addressed to the Supreme Being is for the happiness of mankind.

In our tradition the prayer is hardly ever for one’s own happiness and prosperity. It is always for collective happiness and the removal of everyone’s distress.

The trend which is very common in Indian Liberal Society is that they are blind followers of the west. They don’t have their own spine and want to replicate the western trends in every aspect of Indian society, from impudently attacking the Honourable Prime Minister of the country in the name of constructive criticism or freedom of speech to audaciously demeaning Ayurveda because it is not certified by the west. The colonial slave mindset of the liberals immediately label anyone a “bhakt” if one tries to stand up for their country. The Liberals associate themselves with unbiased, prejudice free and accepting attributes but in reality they are the biggest bigots. On every Hindu festival they post on the social media with a disclaimer portraying it as full of evils, if not this than what is propoganda?

At the juncture, I would like to divert a little and go back once again to the values of India Culture. In today’s world when moral sense is completely ignored by the society, We should see what the eminent historian, Arnold Toynbee, who has covered the entire world in his studies, also obeserves: “At this supremely dangerous moment in human history, the only way of solution for mankind is an Indian Way. The Emperor Ashoka’s and the Mahatma Gandhi’s principle of non-violence and Sri Ramakrishna’s testimony to the harmony of religions, here we have the attitude and the spirit that can make it possible for the human race to grow together into a single family and in the Atomic Age, this is the only alternative to destroying ourselves.’

In conclusion, I would like to remind that in every age, the same one truth has been voiced by the great souls. What Sri Krishna gave as the final message in this verse of the Bhagwat Gita-

yatah pravrttirbhutanam yena sarvamidam tatam
svakarmana tamabhyatcya siddhim vindati manavah

i.e ‘From whom are the promptings of all beings, by whom all this is pervaded, by worshipping that through one’s own action , man attains perfection’, renewed and reaffirmed in our age by the supreme message of Sri Ramakrishna, Sivajnane jivaseva, serving all beings knowing them to be the supreme being.
The Leftists who might have never opened Sacred holy books of Sanatan Dharm, question the credibility of that religion which is peace loving and communitarian in its very existence, which has always talked about people’s welfare.

The sacred Indian values have been preserved and renewed time and again, in this holy land withstanding all the ravages of time. We call it Sanatan Dharm.

Is wearing Rudraksha and sporting Vibhuti signs of Rowdyism?

0

A recent happening in the ancient holy town of Kanchipuram has rocked the state of TN. Mothers of two children, studying in X standard in Anderson School, managed by a Christian Mission, sent an appeal to CM, Mr. M. K. Stalin, to take action against a teacher of the School, by name Mr. Joison.

Reason: their boys were thrashed by this teacher, in open class for refusing to give up wearing a Rudraksha around their neck as well sporting Vibhuti, the holy ash, on their foreheads. The teacher concerned has been repeatedly warning them against this practice and even threatening the mothers. His logic was that this practice of the boys gave them the appearance of Rowdyies! The mothers consistently refused to give up their fervently followed religious practice over generations, even if it meant that the wards being dismissed from the school. Their complaints to the School Management bore no fruits. The latter in fact is trying to cover up the same by stating that the boys were camouflaging poor academic performance by these diversionary tactics.

Hence, the appeal to the CM to intervene. Even the head of a Hindu Sathsang where the subject boys are trained for good spiritual practice, took the initiative of meeting this arrogant teacher and claims that he even went to the extent of prostrating before the Evangelist to spare the boys. But the teacher was unrepentant. The most horrific part of the episode is that this Missionary mode teacher not only beat up the children mercilessly but humiliated them by ordering all other class mates to give a knock by knuckle on their heads! Imagine the blow to their self respect, if not their faith.

The mothers were indeed brave enough to stand up to this discrimination and have refused to yield to the teacher’s threat. The boys have sworn that they would rather give up their education than abandon their cherished Rudraksha. The incidence has sent severe shock waves in the state which is already reeling under organised conversion, encouraged indirectly by parties in ruling coalition. The TN Minister for School education has given the benevolent advice that discrimination has to be avoided. And it will be futile to expect anything else from this rule, whose Chief recently, while inaugurating a new building in Loyola College, Chennai (whose alleged illegal occupation of Temple land is sub judice) regretted that he could not study in this college unlike all other members of his clan!

It is very apparent that with the taking over of the State Government by the pseudo atheist Dravidian party combo, there is an orchestrated effort to oppress the Hindu culture and uplift Abrahamic codes where ever. But the real darker side has perhaps just begun unfolding in educational institutions. For instance, the District Educational Officer concerned has made a statement that as there is a conflict, the children could be shifted to another school! Rather than conducting an impartial enquiry about this controversy, easiest solution for this bureaucrat is to exit the school. Victim- run away please!

It is to be remembered that minority institutions such as Anderson, receive substantial aid from the State towards Salaries and administrative expenses. So, effectively, they are a State sponsored institution. And this is the way, they can treat Non minorities and get away with it.

(Readers can recall the Sexual Abuse complaint of a lady faculty in Loyola College which still has not seen redressal in spite of Court awards.)

Taliban- Islam- and India

0

Many a time, when it comes to debate upon formidable issues regarding the subtle relationship between other people and Muslims, we forget or fail to take into account the deductions of common men in both communities who have nothing to do with the political axes the front liners have got to grind. Intellectuals on both left and right wings exchange vigorous comments, as if all the Hindus are backing BJP and RSS practically and theoretically and all the Muslims are in favour of Taliban or Pakistan. In Indian Television penal discussions, one might have seen resource persons with suspicious backgrounds along with the way they put forward their contention with unwanted vigor. Every resource person becomes a solitary representative of the community he or his party is determined to justify. Surprisingly, representation for those independent common men on both sides is conspicuously absent. The lowest rung in every community is always taken for granted whenever their problems will come up before any public forum for so called rational debate.

In the case of Taliban too, our Medias were seen engaged in speculating upon the interpretation of the symptoms of a disease instead of taking intellectual strain to diagnose the root cause of a fatal disease.

Any religion which never encountered serious mass movements for its reform will have produced similarly dreaded Taliban and women will be the pathetic scapegoats of ancient orthodoxies. The innocent common folk, of primitive communities never exposed to modernity and their vulnerably raw minds. will be ruled by all sorts of political outfits to grab easy political mileage. Islam appears to be the one and the only religion on this planet, in which its internal turmoil never reached its logical end. A systematically organized attempt to rationalize this religion so as to suit it to the modern world has ever been done neither from inside nor from external forces.

The Christianity embraced rationality to some extent even centuries long ago by challenging the supremacy of Roman Catholic Church albeit after a long lasted battle among its own followers in Europe. Now the Christianity has been elevated to such a maturity with which they can strike out a balance between personal liberty and religious orthodoxies. The Hinduism opened up to liberalism even during twelth century when Adi Shankaracharya dared to reinterpret the hitherto unammendable Vedas to lure its own detractors who were falling prey to Buddhism across Indian subcontinent then. That during 19th Century reformer Raja Ram Mohan Ray demanded the British Government to abolish inhuman ‘Sati Sahagamana’ system-i.e. wife sacrificing herself in the flames in which her husband’s dead body is being burnt, can be sited as one more example of reforming Hindu social system. Any community, once introduced to the delicacies of modernity and once tasted the liberty and equality like Christianity and Hinduism, can never give birth to ‘Taliban,’ unlike Islam.

Globalization coupled with technical advancements in communication systems have been mercilessly shedding bright light upon the political and ideological hypocrisies which go hand in hand with public Medias over powered by the open social Medias worldwide. Until recently common man would have to be content with the selective materials supplied by the News Papers and TVs which would mould the public opinion in their own way so as to downplay the paradoxes of their ideological foundations. In the changed scenario no politician, no intellectual, no omnipotent almighty god can justify his theories without explaining away the disturbing contradictions which haunt laymen  in the timelines of their profile day in and day out. No one is in a position to confine his thoughts within the narrow boundaries of his nation and nothing can be established without referring to the social and political calamities beyond the boundaries of one’s own country.

One word coming up for consideration is ‘Islamophobia’. The suffix ‘phobia’ can be added after the name of any religion to create a new form of phobia only to exaggerate the mischief’s of some fanatic miscreants of any religion. But the factual evidences coming to surface from many corners of the world, time and again, are such that they at least persuade even the most secular intellectuals standing by the Islamic community, to think as to why if at all Islamophobia is an illusion, why then there is no illusion of ‘Christanophobia’, why there is no ‘Hindu phobia’ or ‘Buddhist phobia’ at all.

Religious policies of many nations towards their Muslim subjects indicate that unless more stringent law is enacted to regulate social life of Muslim community within their territory, they would most likely  turn out to be fatal to national unity and integrity. Justifying a law passed in the parliament to impose certain restrictions upon Mulsims subjects, the Frech President Macron claims that Islamists are closing themselves off from French society by refusing to embrace secularism gender equality and other French values. China- being a communist nation has been reported to be persecuting Uighur Muslims for religious reasons. Though the Chinese administration justifies its clampdown on the Uighur Muslim minorities by saying it is trying to eradicate extremism and separatist group and China has maintained that it is another important contribution of china’s to the global counter terror field. However, it is important to note here that no other community in China has ever come up with complaints of any kind of religious persecutions by the communist party of china.

No nation predominantly inhabited by Muslims has been a secular nation in its strict sense of the word.  Some of the Nations have expressly replaced the term ‘secular’ with  holy word ‘Islamic State’ in the preamble of their very constitutions  and many nations are secular to the extent to which it is necessary to subsist amongst other secular nations. The only acid test to find out the secular credentials of a nation is to count the number of public representatives belonging to the minority religions in its parliaments. In nations where Muslims are a major community we rarely see non-Muslim public representatives in their political rungs let alone heads of states, ministers and administrators of high ranks.

It is a humorous paradox that when a legal and constitutional effort is attempted by secular nations, attack on Islam is alleged vigorously by public protests in and out of that nation with pla-cards displaying ‘stop stigmatizing Islam’ ‘protect minorities’ from discriminating laws but the everlasting persecution of minorities in many Islamic countries encounter no protest as they will be done unofficially against the dead words of law in those nations. Forget the condition of minorities in Islamic nations, even the common men of Islamic community themselves do not enjoy fundamental freedom of speech and expressions. In some Nations like India where the Hindus are more in number, anyone can abuse Hindu gods and goddesses and the matter will end up with some extremists counter abusing such abnormal intellectuals in TVs and social Medias. And Muslim god is as safe in India as he is in Pakistan or Bangladesh.

Other nations, political parties, many international NGOs, intellectuals and economists can be seen shamelessly downplaying the socio religious cause of terrorism or full or partial Talibanization in any country. Democrats never assert that there must be virtual democracy in Muslim Nations. When Panjasheer province bravely retaliated against Taliban  the United Nations became a dumb witness of the sacrifice of warriors left with insufficient arms and ammunitions. No democratic and secular nation openly went forward to lend military and moral supports to vanishing Northern Alliance. The final victory of Taliban force in Panjasheer very much resembled the ruthless Aurangzeb’s battle with his brothers for the throne which was still occupied by his aged and ailing father –the Mogul Emperor Shahajahan.

NGOs launching rhetoric preachings of secularism in liberal countries play purposeful low profile in Islamic nations. Then, such is the stance of self styled protectors of human rights, that the norms- not to violate human rights are applicable only in secular and democratic nations only.  Economists of international fame do not dare to express their real opinion about the bearings of religious orthodoxies upon the socio economic conditions in many backward Islamic nations.

Even as the videos, news trails and photographs of Taliban warriors ill treat Muslim women clad in black bhurkas, astonished world reacted with great resentment about the condition of Afghanistan.  In India, as usual rightists acknowledged the ongoing incidents as the practical proofs of ‘beware of Muslims’ slogans and leftists and the opposition congress were content with posting a ridiculous comparison of photographs of saffron clad Hindu activists carrying sword and ‘trishool’ along with the ones of turban headed gunmen Taliban, expecting to mitigate the ill impression of the Islamic fanaticism which they indirectly nurture for political gains.

Why then Islam is not opening up for reform even in democratic and secular Nations like India?    In India when the constitution was adopted in 1950 itself the Hinduism underwent drastic reforms under many historical articles in the constitution and equally historical was the fact that the crores of people of a majority religion, which bore the brunt of religious unrest during the partition on the ground of religion itself just two three years earlier, accepted the eradication of many superstitious systems their own religion had perpetuated for millenniums and that no Hindu religious leaders or motifs raised any strong protest against the abolition of ancient four cast system[chaturvarna] which their holy scriptures initiated from the time immemorial.

But to the contrary Indian Muslims were granted minority status but this constitutional status was used more to propagate Islamic conservatism than for reforming it. In a bid to solicit the enormous Islamic vote bank, Indian political parties kept on playing dual policies when it comes to reformative measures in Islam. India had to wait more than seven decades to see that the barbaric triple talaq to be abolished. Surprisingly, left oriented feminists,-who have penned hundreds of fictions based on discrimination of women among Hindus, were not much amused about the abolition of triple talaq.

From the very beginning Marxists and the congress surrupticiasly joined hands with each other to relegate the Indian Muslims to the condition of being in a reserved vote bank by directly and indirectly instilling and strengthening conservatism in the name of secularism. The number of ways in which these two outfits accomplished this dangerously hidden political agenda in decades after independence can be a rich subject for profound study. It is possible to convincingly establish that politically motivated wrong policy towards the Indian Islamic Community under the guise of secularism must have inspired the majority Hindus to be defensive as against Islam. This , perhaps, accounts for the unprecedented popularity of PM Narendra modi beyond all dividing boundaries of casts among Hindus. Now the Congress, Leftists and their supporting intellectual class, have come up to the point in which they are at loss to rebut the historical errors themselves committed in the past.

The ground reality, of millions of innocent Muslims being ready to accept the rationalization of Islam for the sake of their own upliftment, is systematically concealed from the outer world in two ways- firstly the Congress and leftists and their intellectuals highlight the same conservative Muslim leaders and intellectuals and the real representatives of Islam and secondly, the Hindu rightist outfits generalize all the Muslims as Jihadist as a result of which the common Muslim is falling back upon defensive measures of blindly supporting the orthodox Muslim Clergymen who launch Fathvas or Farmans to save them from Hindus. These circumstances have elevated the dreaded Tippu Sultan to the position of Islamic Icon and have made Muslim youths cannot feel proud of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam and his contributions to the Nation.

Much more disgusting is the marginalization of progressive Muslim leaders as well as intellectuals. Though there are number of Muslim intellectuals who advocate reforms in Islam they are neither critically understood by the Hindus  nor the leftist and Secular parties like the Congress adequately accommodate them as the Muslim vote bank is still  under the strong control of conservative Islamic clergymen.

Language is another hurdle in the way of overall development of Islam in India. Even today youths among Muslims-living in vibrant society, are not proficient in regional languages as a result of which they have to find their livelihood in all kinds of illegal trade practices. Very few Muslim parents prefer to give their children modern education as against madrasa training. Amidst hundreds of Hindu girls a few Muslim girls in a separate group with their glittering eyes in side hijab, anxious to reach home as early as possible after collage hours, is a common scenario unfolding   around our college campuses everywhere; much less than that of the girls is the number of Muslim boys who go in search of employment after they finish madarasa course. This has placed the Muslims in much more pathetic condition than illiterate Hindus who could, with their little education, can still interact with others of the vider society. Then the real terrorism lies in misleading those hapless Muslims- who cannot rationally appreciate the national and international happenings just because of their educational condition, to the effect that ‘the Muslims in India are not safe’. This wicked task is being successfully done by the ones like former Voice president Hamid Ansari to the last rung congress and left party workers.

All these erroneous political, educational and religious policies across the country from seven decades after Independence have afforded convincing grounds for the majority Hindus to feel not safe as against the Muslims who are still allowed to marry more wives to beget more children to outnumber the Hindus even as enjoying legally granted privileges of minorities. Though the congress and left parties have run the risk of loosing popularity among Hindus, have pethetically failed to convince the everage Hindu mind that the fear that the Indian Muslims will not claim a separate nation once again, is unfounded.  It is this wrong politics of so many years that has created a politically conducive situation out of which Narendra Modi could emerge as the most popular national leader today.

That the demonization of Muslims across the globe was more due to the insensitive conservatism on their own part than the ill treatment they occasionally suffer in the hands of others, is a reality which the progressive  Muslims are supposed to know as early as possible. Or otherwise the next world war will be between Muslims and Kaffirs- and the resultant war may ensue between Hindus and Muslims in India too which cannot afford to divide the Nation once again even after they have learnt an elaborate lesson out of bloody history of partition of India and Pakistan.

The call for Hindu unity across the globe

0

Today we are in such a position where religious intolerance is at peak and wars and killings in the name of religion is increasing. At such a crucial period, it is the duty of all the Hindus to unite because if now we won’t then it would be never. We all know what our Hindu sisters and brothers are experiencing in the state of Bangladesh. We still haven’t forgotten the scars of the 1971 Bengali Hindu Genocide. We all are able to hear what our community is facing in the state of Pakistan. At first I was really confused that whether CAA was a right move or not. But now, my views are clear.

The BJP’s decision on bringing CAA is one of the best decision ever taken by a ruling party in India. Kudos to Amit Shah Ji. The Hindu Community is a peace loving community which is not involved in any violence taking place at any part of the globe. But the brutal killings of Hindu people raises a big question mark, whether the Hindus should remain silent or raise their voice. The Hindus should unite and some knowledgeable Hindus should share their vision of Hindu Unity and how every Hindu should protect their culture and religion. We should not forget that we belong from a community which had brave warriors like Maharana Pratap and Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

A question arises, how Hindus can unite and who is going to do it and what is to be done after we get unite?

Interesting question. Now if we talk that how can we get united, first we should start talking about our rich Hindu Culture among our family members, then in our neighbourhoods and then among anyone who is a Hindu. If we say that who is going to do it, the answer would be YOU. If we start from ourselves then definitely we would start connecting the dots and the day wouldn’t be far away where we can see that around 100 crore Hindu people stand together. Now, if we say that what should be done after all Hindus get united, my answer would be, let’s start knowing about our Religion first. Let’s start reading our religious books. Let’s start to explore what our brave Hindu warriors did at their time.

Let’s make a habit of reading at least one article a day which showcases the rich Hindu culture. Let’s start visiting Hindu pilgrimages. Lets peacefully protest against anything which might hurt the Hindu sentiments. Let’s start watching movies like TANHAJI which showcases how our Hindu warriors were capable of fighting with all the enemies who came on their way. Let’s proudly say that, ‘ I AM A PROUD HINDU’ whenever we travel to any foreign country. Let’s start to write articles on Hindu Unity. These small baby steps would lead to an environment where all Hindus would be united.

We want a world where our Hindu community is staying peacefully. Let’s not have any kind of hatred against any other community but at the same time if any community is trying to threaten our people, let’s not stay silent and protest in a democratic manner. Let the world hear the voice of the Hindu community.

The leaders of the ruling party of India generally uses a slogan a lot, which is, ‘JAI SHREE RAM’. This must be a slogan for all the Hindu people. Let us get inspired from the bravery of Shri Ram, and let’s proudly chant, ‘ JAI SHREE RAM’.

I hope that my article acts as an eye opener for all the Hindu people across the globe and it helps them to understand the need of coming together and getting united.

In the Mahabharata there is a popular Sanskrit phrase, ‘DHARMO RAKSHATI RAKSHITAH’. It means, “those who protect Dharma are protected by the Dharma”. Let’s follow it.

JAI HIND.

Yakuza’s Influence On Japanese Gambling

0

In Japan, the intertwining of gambling and the Yakuza, Japan’s notorious organized crime syndicates, has a long and complex history. For decades, the Yakuza have had their hands in numerous illegal and legal gambling operations, exploiting these activities for financial gain and power.

However, as the digital age ushers in the rise of online gambling platforms, new measures are being implemented to ensure the integrity of gambling practices, challenging the traditional influence of these crime groups.

The Yakuza’s Role in Japanese Gambling

The Yakuza’s involvement in gambling dates back to the Edo period, where they would operate or patronize illegal gambling dens. Their methods for controlling these activities included extortion, protection rackets, and manipulation of gambling outcomes to ensure profitability. These practices allowed them to amass significant wealth and influence, embedding them deeply within the fabric of Japanese underground economy.

The Shift to Online Gambling

With the advent of the internet, online gambling platforms began to gain popularity in Japan, offering a new form of entertainment that was harder for the Yakuza to infiltrate. This shift posed significant challenges to traditional Yakuza operations, as the digital nature of these platforms made it difficult to exert the same level of control and influence. Online gambling not only provided a safer environment for gamblers but also introduced a barrier to the Yakuza’s historical involvement.

Many online casinos stand out for their successful strategies in maintaining a clean, Yakuza-free environment. For instance, platforms utilizing blockchain technology, like Casinosnavi.com, offer transparency and immutability, making it nearly impossible for criminal elements to manipulate outcomes or launder money. Casinos such as these serve as benchmarks, demonstrating that it is possible to offer secure and fair gambling experiences devoid of underworld influences.

Ensuring Integrity in Online Gambling

To combat the potential for illegal influence and ensure ethical practices, online gambling platforms have adopted several stringent measures. These include:

  • KYC (Know Your Customer) Policies: By verifying the identity of their users, online casinos can prevent the Yakuza from using fake identities or fronts to manipulate games or launder money.
  • Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Many online platforms work closely with Japanese law enforcement agencies to report suspicious activities and help in the fight against organized crime.
  • Use of Advanced Security Technologies: Encryption, blockchain technology, and secure payment systems help safeguard transactions and user data, creating an environment where Yakuza manipulation is significantly hindered.

Examples of these measures in action include the successful identification and barring of suspected Yakuza members from participating in online gambling activities, as well as the tracking and reporting of suspicious financial transactions.

The Role of Government and Regulation

The Japanese government has recognized the need to regulate gambling to curb the Yakuza’s influence. Through a combination of strict gambling laws in Japan, regulation of online platforms, and anti-money laundering measures, the government aims to protect consumers and ensure the integrity of the gambling industry. This regulatory framework is crucial in maintaining a safe gambling environment, free from the corruption and influence of organized crime.

Conclusion

The landscape of gambling in Japan is undergoing significant transformation, driven by the rise of online platforms and the concerted efforts of regulators and operators to ensure ethical practices. As these measures become increasingly effective, the Yakuza’s traditional influence over the gambling industry is waning, heralding a new era of integrity and security in Japanese gambling. The future of online gambling in Japan looks promising, with strong safeguards in place to protect against the underworld’s shadow, ensuring that the industry thrives in an ethical and legal framework.
