Since ancient times, people in India have had a tradition of performing their duties — even in partial disregard of their rights and privileges. Since time immemorial, an individual’s “kartavya” — the performance of one’s duties towards society, his/her country and his/her parents — was emphasised.

There can be no end to Islamic extremism as long we keep mum and remain politically correct. The only way to end the extremism is to fight against it. One has to be really honest and call spade a spade. This not just extremism, it is radical Islamic terrorism.

As a matter of fact, Gandhi, who lived and studied in world's one of the costliest cities i.e. London, who made a mockery of poverty in India by his superficial austerity measures, always thought of himself as a British first and an Indian second. At least till the time British beat the shit out of him and threw him out of a train

Gandhi built non-violence movement. India built Gandhi. Nonviolence is part of India's culture and teachings. Gandhi was merely the genius saint who applied old teachings for the independence movement.

Those who contend that Gandhi staying alive any further would have been detrimental to India, do not seem to have understood the problem. What harm could he have possibly inflicted upon the nation?

जो गलतियां महात्‍मा गांधी ने की वही गलतियां उनके देहावसान के 70 वर्ष बाद भी दोहराई जा रही हैं या यह कहा जाए कि महात्‍मा गांधी ने जिन नीतियों से ईसाई मत का सामना किया था हिन्‍दु समाज आज भी उन्‍हीं असफल नीतियों से उनका सामना कर रहा है।
