नोटबंदी पर अब तक का सबसे बड़ा खुलासा

नोट बंदी की घोषणा हुये तीन दिन हो चुके थे. सभी टीवी चैनल अपनी टीआरपी बढ़ाने के चक्कर में इस बात की होड़ में लगे हुये थे कि देश में जहाँ कहीं भी किसी की भी मौत किसी भी वजह से हुई हो, उसे किसी भी तरह से नोट बंदी से जोड़कर दिखलाया जाये.

“खबरदार” टीवी चैनल अभी तक इस दौड़ में शामिल नही हुआ था और लिहाज़ा इस टीवी चैनल की टीआरपी का बैंड बज़ा हुआ था. टीवी चैनल की संपादक मंडली के लोग गंभीर सोच विचार में ही थे कि अचानक ही चैनल के चीफ एडिटर ने अपने प्राइम टाइम शो को पेश करने वाले एँकर-पत्रकार को एक सुझाव दिया, “भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ लड़ाई शुरु करने की नौटंकी करने वाले क्रेजीवाल आजकल जरूरत से ज्यादा बैचेन नज़र आ रहे हैं; उनकी अद्भुत चीख पुकार का हम अपने चैनल की टीआरपी बढ़ाने के लिये उपयोग कर सकते हैं.”

संपादक जी के इशारे को समझते हुए पत्रकार महोदय ने क्रेजीवाल जी को फोन लगा दिया और उन्होने उछलते हुये “खबरदार” चैनल के प्राइम टाइम शो में शामिल होने के लिये हामी भर दी.

प्राइम टाइम शो के कार्यक्रम का नाम भी धमाकेदार रखा गया: “नोट बंदी पर अब तक का सबसे बड़ा खुलासा.” प्राइम टाइम शो रात 9 बजे शुरु होना था, लेकिन क्रेजीवाल जी व्यस्त होने के बाबजूद पूरे आधा घंटा पहले ही स्टूडियो में पधार चुके थे. उनकी बेचैनी और हैरानी परेशानी को देखकर प्राइम टाइम शो को एँकर करने वाले पत्रकार भी बेहद हैरान थे लेकिन उन्होंने अपनी हैरानी वाले सवाल को भी प्राइम टाइम शो के लिये ही बचा कर रख लिया.

शो शुरु होते ही पत्रकार ने अपना पहला सवाल क्रेजीवाल जी के ऊपर दागा, “क्रेजीवाल जी, आप जरूरत से ज्यादा व्यस्त होने के बाबजूद भी, हमारे स्टूडियो में पूरे आधा घंटा पहले पहुंच गये, इसके पीछे भी कोई खास राजनीतिक चाल है या कोई और वजह है?”

क्रेजीवाल: नही इसके पीछे कोई खास वजह नही है. मैं दरअसल अपने घर से आपके स्टूडियो तक पैदल ही चलकर आया हूँ और इसलिये शाम को 6 बजे ही चल दिया था, इसी चक्कर में आधा घंटा पहले ही पहुंच गया.

पत्रकार: क्रेजीवाल जी, आपकी गाड़ी क्या खराब हो गयी है, जिसके चलते आपको पैदल आने की ज़रूरत पड़ गयी?

क्रेजीवाल: नही पत्रकार महोदय, अब नोट बंदी के बाद हमारे पास इतने पैसे ही कहाँ बचे हैं कि हम लोग कहीं कार से आ जा सकें.

पत्रकार (हैरान होते हुए): क्रेजीवाल जी, आपके पास तो पुराने 500 और 1000 के नोटों का अपार भंडार हुआ करता था, उसे बैंक में जमा करवा कर आप नये नोट निकलवा सकते थे या फिर ई-पेमेन्ट कर सकते थे.

क्रेजीवाल: पहले तो में आपकी जानकारी दुरुस्त कर दूं कि मेरे पास सिर्फ 500 के नोटों का भंडार था-1000 के नोटो का भंडार मेरे पास नही था. दूसरी बात यह है कि बैंको मे सिर्फ वही नोट जमा हो रहे हैं जिन्हे रिजर्ब बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने जारी किया है-मेरे पास जो नोट हैं उन्हे पाकिस्तान सरकार ने छापा है.

पत्रकार एकदम सन्न रह गया और अपनी सीट से उठकर खड़ा हो गया: इसका मतलब क्रेजीवाल जी, आप पाकिस्तान से भेजे गये नकली नोटों के सौदागर हैं?

क्रेजीवाल (अपना मफलर कसकर लपेटते हुये): हाँ जी, मैं सिर्फ 500 के नकली नोटों में ही डील करता हूँ लेकिन इस नोट बंदी से मेरा सारा धंधा चौपट कर दिया है मोदी ने.

पत्रकार (बेहद हैरानी के साथ): क्रेजीवाल जी, आप बार बार यह कह रहे हैं कि आप सिर्फ 500 रुपये के नकली नोटों के भारत में अधिकृत सौदागर है तो फिर यह बताएं कि पाकिस्तान से जो 1000 के नकली नोट छपकर देश में आते हैं, उनका भारत में होलसेल डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर कौन है?

क्रेजीवाल: अपनी मनता दीदी.. मेरे कहने का मतलब मनता सनर्जी. 1000 के नकली नोटो की इस देश में वे इकलौती अधिकृत सौदागर हैं.

पत्रकार: फिर तो क्रेजीवाल जी, सिर्फ आपका ही नही, मनता दीदी का भी नकली नोटों का धंधा पूरी तरह चौपट हो गया?

क्रेजीवाल: हाँ जी, अब आप बिल्कुल सही समझे हैं. हम दोनो का ही नकली नोटों का धंधा मोदी ने पूरी तरह चौपट कर दिया है. काले धन के सौदागर तो बैंकों में अपने पैसे को जमा करा रहे हैं और उसे टैक्स देकर सफेद कर रहे हैं लेकिन हमारे जैसे नकली नोटों के सौदागार आखिर कहाँ जाएं?

पत्रकार: क्रेजीवाल जी, मैं आपकी परेशानी और चीख पुकार को अच्छी तरह समझ चुका हूँ और हमारे दर्शक भी यह जान गये हैं कि नोट बंदी की सबसे ज्यादा मार सिर्फ आप दोनो पर ही क्यों पड़ी है. हम इस चर्चा को कल भी जारी रखेंगे. आज प्राइम टाइम शो का वक्त अब खत्म होता है. स्टूडियो में पधारने के लिये आपका धन्यवाद. कल इसी वक्त आपका इस स्टूडियो में एक बार फिर से स्वागत किया जायेगा.

पत्रकार की बात सुनते ही क्रेजीवाल ने अपने चिर परिचित ढंग से खाँसना शुरु कर दिया. इससे पहले कि क्रेजीवाल जी कुछ और बोल पाते, टी वी पर कामर्शियल ब्रेक शुरु हो गया.

ABVP Pune set to change the discourse of the education

In our country students and education have never got much importance. All the parties and politicians are busy in appeasement of various castes and religions. In the ruckus of the opportunistic politics the future of the country has always been ignored.

The education centers like universities have become the extortion centers for the students. Government has given permission to open private universities with a noble cause of spreading education however, they have turned to be a crook. Educationists with the blessings from the government have curbed for no one. The quality and depth of education is utterly poor. There are several cases where educationists have victimized students and even faculties.

But there are only a few organizations like ABVP (Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad) who has the history of fighting against the evils in the education system. ABVP Pune has successfully conducted several protests for the welfare of the students. Be it against the education institutes like Fergusson, MIT, Sinhgad Institute, JSPM.

They even forced the government to start the Open student council elections which were banned since 1993. By the efforts of ABVP Pune University increased the remunerations of Earn and Learn scheme which has benefited more than 2 lac students. Along with the same, they even protested for the reduction of photocopy and result revaluation fee which was whooping 750 INR. These are a few of the recent accomplishments of ABVP Pune alone.

But it’s not always possible to stand against every problem in the corrupt system hence; Pune chapter of ABVP has taken the oath to clean the education system of the state.

ABVP which is widely recognized as world’s largest cadre based student organization has called for the mass protest to redefine the discourse of the education system thoroughly. They have covered all the noble demands of the students, teaching and non-teaching staff and the educationists as well.

Pune University once known as the oxford of the east is now known for it’s loose syllabus and paper checking fraud. There is a racket in exam department which discloses the question papers before exams as well as there is a paper checking fraud going on. University and government have no control over educationists. New cases erupt every year wherein the institute doesn’t pay EBC (Economic Backward Class Scholarship) to students on time.

Public service commission aspirants are another section of students which is isolated from main stream student group. ABVP has included righteous demands of the said students as well. Many education institutes intentionally fail to pay the remunerations to faculties on time hence it directly impacts on their teaching quality.

For as much as 150 noble demands of students, teaching and non-teaching staff ABVP has given a call for a mass protest on February 27, 2017 from Shaniwarwada to Vidhanbhavan. Protest will start at 10am. Nearly 20 thousand students are expected to join this protest. And I am sure that this protest is going to make our educational ecosystem healthier for all its constituents and set an example for the generations ahead.

President Trump orders review of Dodd Frank Act

Among the slew of executive orders that President Trump signed in his first few weeks in office, was one directing the Treasury secretary to submit a report on the review of Dodd-Frank Act (DFA) and recommend changes in 120 days. I believe this is a step in the right direction to resetting complex banking regulations and ease credit flow and kick start the economy. In this context, it is worthwhile to understand the importance of this law and how it has impacted the financial services industry in a post-recession America.

The banking and financial services industry in the US contributes over 8% of the GDP and is considered as the life blood of the business and economy of the country. Because of the big economic impact banks have on the economy, it is no surprise that it is the most highly regulated industry in the US and probably in the world. Hence, the need for prudent regulations is understood and justified. Therefore, the laws that govern its growth and welfare are expected to be living documents and subject to periodic changes so as to be relevant in a dynamic environment. Hence the executive order to review the DFA is a welcome initiative.

The DFA is a big legislation. It is indeed a massive piece of law that runs over 2300 pages incorporating more than 400 rules and mandates. It can be broadly divided into eight key pillars that seek to protect the consumers and regulate the financial markets.

Among the key provisions in DFA, are the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)- which is responsible for implementing and enforcing compliance with consumer financial laws, stringent regulatory capital requirements, significant changes in the regulation of over the counter derivatives, reforms that regulate credit rating agencies, changes to corporate governance and executive compensation practice and the Volcker Rule (which bans banks from using or owning hedge funds for their own profit).

The provisions in the DFA were designed to create and sustain a safe and sound banking industry. For instance, the enhancement of the capital requirements of banks created sufficient cushion to absorb loan losses in an unfavorable economy. It also mandates banks to keep a significant portion of their assets in cash and government securities so that they could easily be liquidated in the event of a run on the bank or fast deteriorating macro-economic conditions.

It is easy to see the good intent of the Act. But the experience of banks, regulators and experts since 2010 have been very mixed. As would be expected, experts in the field have sharply divided views on the efficacy of the Act in achieving its stated goals.

The Dodd-Frank Act had an acrimonious birth and had sharply divided influential Senators and Congressmen. While President Obama claimed victory, the Republicans then had warned that this massive piece of legislation would arrest the flow of credit and slow down recovery and impact job creation.

DFA was enacted to safeguard the consumers and prevent a repeat of the financial crisis of 2008. One of its important objectives to end ‘too-big-to-fail’. But what has the DFA achieved in six years? The ‘too big to fail banks’ remain intact. On the other hand, it has adversely impacted small and medium banks by imposing a heavy regulatory burden on them.

A study by American Action Forum published in 2016 found that the DFA in six years had cost a total of $36 billion– including $10.4 billion in its sixth year of existence. The study further showed that in the six years, DFA has resulted in a burden of 73 million paperwork hours. DFA has indeed been a logistical nightmare for banks.

A Harvard study on the impact of DFA found that the top five bank-holding companies control nearly the same share of U.S. banking assets as they did in the fiscal quarter before Dodd-Frank’s passage. But community banks with $1 billion or less in assets have seen a significant decline.

It would be pertinent for me to point out here that often in their zeal to protect consumers, legislators tend to over-regulate to the point of almost killing the industry.  Human history is replete with instances where laws are often enacted as a knee-jerk panic reaction in the aftermath of a crisis. But these very same legislations are rued over by the same legislators when the crisis has passed and the severity of their actions dawns on them. We have seen this happen periodically in America, Europe and elsewhere. Is it the legislators’ curse on the democratic world – killing us with their concern and zeal?

As a former bank regulator, I have been an advocate of minimum and prudent regulations that achieve the stated goals by imposing minimal financial costs on banks and regulators. Complying and supervising well-intentioned legislations must not by itself be a Herculean task. I have always believed that DFA has been a logistical and expensive nightmare for the bankers and the regulators. To pass the smell test, a law has to be simple, unambiguous, easy to implement and enforce and achieve its stated objectives with ease. On all these counts, in my view, the DFA fared poorly.

But that is not to say that I advocate the repeal of the law. By no means.  The Feds need enabling and powerful laws to maintain a disciplined financial system where banks power the engines of growth by funneling credit flows to big and small consumers alike to achieve sustainable business growth. The review is a welcome move and hopefully make DFA easier and less expensive to comply.

The Trump administration has to exercise caution to not bring in legislations that are too big and expensive to administer, comply and enforce and carry the risk of collapsing under its own weight. The incoming administration has a great opportunity to make a big difference. President Trump has taken the right steps to review the Dodd-Frank Act.

Why the film The Ghazi Attack needs to be banned immediately

Just saw the film Ghazi and am deeply pained to note the disgusting ideology that the film tries to promote – the outdated, filthy idea of nationalism and love for one’s nation. Films of the type of Ghazi should be banned forthwith and its makers incarcerated.

Films such as this attempt to subvert the immense efforts of all the top journalists and intellectuals of the nation, who have been striving ever so hard to drive the nation away from this malaise of Desh-Bhakti and veer them towards true FREEDOM– Freedom from the imaginary lines called borders on an otherwise free land bereft of any hindrances to the movement of people or ideas!

It took a great deal of convincing to get the people to agree that Azaadi for Kashmir is a small price to pay for the higher liberal ideal of a world without the narrow definition of a nation state and/or national boundaries. Ghazi has potential way to lay all these painstaking efforts.

It also took a great deal of effort to make national icons out of duds like Susu Kumar, Bimaar Khalid and Aayila Rashid. Ghazi aims to transplant these idols and icons with those of ultra nationalist soldiers who put their own lives at risk to brutally kill innocent tourists enjoying the serene waters of Bay of Bengal – just because these tourists (moving around in submarine Ghazi) happen to be from Pakistan.

We all know that Pakistan is a great nation founded on the principles of the great religion of peace, quite unlike our nation India which is based on the casteist, exploitative, dogmatic, superstitious and socially unjust religion, forcefully imposed by a Brahmanical state. The hatred of the soldiers towards the tourists of Pakistan also smacks of Islamophobia of the Hindu Right. It is exactly this hatred and Islamophobia that led to pogrom of Gujarat in 2002.

If we are not to see another Gujarat and are to stop the rise of the Bhakts and their saffron terrorism – we urgently need to stop making of such patriotic films. To begin with, in order to preserve our freedom of speech let us ask for the taking away their freedom of speech & expression. Let us plead for an immediate ban on the film Ghazi!!

उत्तर प्रदेश में भाजपा की बम्पर जीत के संकेत

विधान सभा चुनावों से पहले ही यह माना जा रहा था कि पाकिस्तान अधिकृत कश्मीर में सेना द्वारा की गयी सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक और नोटबंदी के चलते काले धन और जाली धन पर की गयी अभूतपूर्व सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक इन चुनावों में मुख्य मुद्दा बनेंगे. जिस बात का किसी को भी अंदाजा नहीं था, वह यह थी कि विपक्षी राजनीतिक दल इन दोनों ही ऐतिहासिक और जनहित में लिए गए फैसलों का अपनी पूरी ताकत लगाकर विरोध करेंगे. विपक्षी दलों को इन दोनों ही फैसलों से इतना बड़ा धक्का लगा, मानो वे लोग चुनाव शुरू होने से पहले ही चुनाव हार गए हों. इसकी वजह सिर्फ यह थी कि जनता को यह समझ में आ गया कि जो क्रांतिकारी काम पिछली सरकारें ६७ सालों में नहीं कर सकीं, उन्हें मोदी सरकार ने अपनी मजबूत इच्छा शक्ति के बल पर ढाई साल में ही कर दिखाया है. विपक्षी दल इस बात से पूरी तरह वाकिफ थे कि विधान सभा चुनावों को वे पूरी तरह से शुरू होने से पहले ही हार चुके है. सबसे ज्यादा डर उत्तर प्रदेश में सत्ता पर काबिज़ समाजवादी पार्टी को था, लिहाज़ा इस पार्टी  ने सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक के तुरंत बाद से एक लिखी हुईं स्क्रिप्ट पर काम करना शुरू कर दिया, जिसे देखकर जनता और मीडिया दोनों ही पिछले पांच सालों के जंगल राज को भूल जाएँ और यह समझ बैठें कि अखिलेश यादव तो “बहुत ही बढ़िया राजनेता” हैं, उन्हें उनके पिताजी “बढ़िया” बनने से रोक रहे थे.

दिक्कत यह है कि लोग आजकल पढ़े लिखे और समझदार है और सोशल मीडिया ने उन्हें पूरी तरह सजग कर दिया है. लोग समाजवादी पार्टी द्वारा पेश किये गए इस “मुलायम-अखिलेश” ड्रामा के मन्तव्य को तभी समझ गए थे, जब यह शुरू हुआ था. चुनावों की घोषणा होने के बाद समाजवादी पार्टी को यह लगने लगा कि लोग उसके ड्रामे को समझ गए हैं और उसकी लुटिया डूबनी लगभग तय है. अब इस पार्टी ने मजबूरी में अपना आखिरी दांव चल दिया और जिस कांग्रेस पार्टी का यह कल तक विरोध कर रहे थे, उसके साथ गठबंधन कर लिया. कांग्रेस पार्टी के लिए तो यह मौका “डूबते को तिनके का सहारा” की तरह आया और उसने बिना किसी सोच विचार के इस मौके को लपक लिया.

देखा जाए तो कांग्रेस और बहुजन समाज पार्टी तो पहले से ही अपने आप को “हारा हुआ खिलाड़ी” समझ रहे थे, कांग्रेस को लगा क़ि समाजवादी पार्टी से गठबंधन करने से उसे कुछ खोना नहीं है क्योंकि उसके पास कुछ भी खोने के लिए नहीं है. हाँ , लोग अगर गलती से भी समाजवादी ड्रामे की चाल में फंस गए तो उसे फायदा जरूर हो सकता है.

२०१४ के लोकसभा चुनावों में जीरो पर आउट हुईं बहुजन समाज पार्टी तो पहले से ही हाशिये पर थी. रही सही कसर उस खुलासे ने कर दी जिससे यह सामने आया कि नोटबंदी की अवधि में बैंकों में पुराने नोटों को सबसे अधिक मात्रा में जमा कराने वाली वह इकलौती पार्टी है. बाकी पार्टियों ने भी पुराने नोटों को बैंक में जमा कराया लेकिन जितनी भारी भरकम मात्रा में पुराने नोट बसपा ने जमा कराये, उसे देखकर जनता खुद ही समझ गयी कि आखिर यह विपक्षी दाल नोटबंदी का इतनी तेजी के साथ विरोध क्यों कर रहे थे. इतना तो जनता समझ ही चुकी है कि जो राजनीतिक दल जितनी ताकत लगाकर नोटबंदी का विरोध कर रहा है, वह राजनीतिक दल या नेता उतनी ही बुरी तरह नोटबंदी से प्रभावित हुआ है.

गौरतलब बात यह है कि पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर में की गयी सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक हो या फिर काले धन और जाली धन पर कि गयी सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक, मोदी सरकार ने देश में पहली बार एक जबरदस्त “मास्टर स्ट्रोक” खेला है, जिससे समूचा विपक्ष चरों खाने चित हो गया है और दोनों ही क़दमों की तीखी आलोचना कर रहा है. अगर यह दोनों फैसले घटिया है, जनहित और देशहित में नहीं हैं, फिर उसका अंजाम तो भाजपा के खिलाफ ही जाने वाला है. भाजपा के खिलाफ जाने वाले फैसलों का तो विपक्षी नेताओं को मन ही मन स्वागत करना चाहिए. लेकिन भाजपा के साथ साथ पूरा विपक्ष यह जानता है कि यह दोनों फैसले ऐसे हैं जो पिछले ६७ सालों में कोई भी सरकार नहीं ले सकी और क्योंकि यह फैसले ऐतिहासिक एवं  अभूतपूर्व हैं और देशहित एवं जनहित में हैं, मोदी सरकार को इनका फायदा लेने से कोई नहीं रोक सकता.

लगभग सभी विपक्षी नेता और राजनीतिक दल मन ही मन इस बात पर एकमत हैं कि उत्तर प्रदेश में भाजपा की बम्पर जीत को कोई नहीं रोक सकता लेकिन इसी कड़वे सच को खुलकर मानने के लिए तैयार नहीं हैं. अब सभी विपक्षी नेताओं की उम्मीद इसी बात पर टिकी हुयी है कि वे जाति-धर्म और साम्प्रदायिकता की राजनीती को अंजाम देने और जनता को दिग्भ्रमित करने में कितने कामयाब होते हैं. जिस तरह से सभी पार्टियां अल्पसंख्यक वर्ग के मतदाताओं को भाजपा से डरा कर  अपनी तरफ करने में लगी हुयी हैं, उससे यह सवाल भी खड़ा हो रहा  है कि जो मीडिया भाजपा को सांप्रदायिक कहने में एक मिनट नहीं लगाता वह मुस्लिमों को भाजपा से डराने वालों को कब “सांप्रदायिक” कहना शुरू करेगा?

“Main Hindustani Hindu Hoon”

Recently, I came across to a poem by Haidry, Main Hindustani Musalman Hoon, the words resonated with Muslims and Hindus alike and touch that “sensitive chord”. Some Hindus will swoon and sympathize with them. Yes the minority community they are suppressed. Damn you Hindus for this step-motherly attitude towards other citizens of India.

This is a latest fad to call any Hindu, communal. Name call them and mock their beliefs and culture and you are all set to be hailed as “liberal”. The liberal-left is the new fascist ideology and they are the least embracing group in this country.

This is true that every Hindu, who talks about Hindu, is “communal”.

Universities and schools raised us to breathe the notion that non-liberals are racist and bigots. Our education system required that we read books that championed the plight of immigrant minorities while condemning the original inhabitants (Hindus) as the perpetual antagonist.

Shame Hindus for their love of cow (that’s surprising because that same liberals who do this will be posting selfies with their dogs). Sheer hypocrisy ain’t it? Those who mock cows and use their sentiments to mock Hindus inadvertently forgot that India has since ancient times revered this genteel creature for their importance to farmer’s livelihood.

Shame Hindus for their leaning towards Hindutva. Hindutva is the spirit of the people of India, through the ages, most misunderstood word, and perhaps the reason why it has survived conquest, genocide and subjugation. After losing millions of people in Ghazwa-e-Hind and its aftermath, the world still expect us to be silent and mute about the atrocities. Yet we have remained indifferent to this mass murders and pillage.

Blame Hindus for conflicts: Hindus have always accepted minorities with open arms. Every time a crime is committed, flaunt their minority status and they remain unaccountable. Rohil Vemula was in limelight for being Dalit, later it surfaced that he was an imposter posing as Dalit. Every time a Kashmiri youth picks gun, media claims he was misled by terrorists. He was abused as child, bullied by everyone and the sole responsibility of his current status quo is a Hindu.

In our entire Indian history, Hindus have never converted anyone forcibly. We have been subjected to mass conversion or died. Hindus are not coward, to survive they did what they could in that time and era. We are peaceful and embracing community, when Parsi travelers arrived seeking refugee we wholeheartedly provided them asylum. With passage of time Parsi community have mingled with us and have set an example for others to follow.

Have other minorities set an examples? No, they have been instrumental in converting the poor Hindus. Dalits are essentially Hindus, to escape the age-old prejudice they have converted to Kasim or Tony. It is duty of each Hindu to uplift our Dalit Hindu brothers and break the century old casteist shackles.

Grey Areas:

1. Reservation: Reservation was implemented to improve poor Dalits and backward class bias, since its implementation till date no improvement in their status is visible. It has been more than 60 years and dynastic party hasn’t been successful to provide them social standing they deserve. Education and education can alone uplift them. Dr. BR Ambedkar had himself  stated that reservations should be scrapped after a period of time but it still exists. Politicians never want this caste divide to end and as backward class forms a major chunk of their vote bank politics. Everyone wants to be included in this diaspora, be it Jat or Patidar. Who doesn’t want a free lunch? Well, it goes beyond that. While the hardworking person will toil and the lazy free loader reaps the windfall.

Hindus in India are 88 % and majority of them belong to middle class section. Reservation based on caste makes them feel neglected, our minorities brothers are protected with right to education while we drudge for making to it few merit list. Is it wrong if we Hindus say scrap the Reservation and implement reservation based on economic status?

2.Distorted History: History has been modified according to the whims of previous Dynastic Party. Glorifying Mughal invaders and their plundering activities was a means to “civilize us”. Misrepresentation of our identity with their own agenda. Each coming generations are reading how Mughals were great rulers and their glory is immeasurable. These are those same people who condemn Hitler for holocaust, while this same act in India is praised by certain factions. Yes to keep the secularism alive. Damn Hindus will never learn.

3.Culture: We are day by day shunning our culture, Hindus are at forefront to please our brothers from minorities. They forego Holi, Diwali, and Dahi Handi because it harms our environment. How many of our brothers from minority will stop eating cow’s as it hurts our religious belief? No one.

4.No respect for Constitution: Suppressing our rights to suit others tyrannical nature. Kamlesh Tiwari is jailed for speaking against another religious group, while the same act by M. F. Husain goes scathe free. You speak for rights, our constitution is utmost top authority and we are governed by court of law then why this minorities governing body issue fatwa at drop of hat. I am yet to see Indian citizen excommunicated though.

5.Changing Demography: The changing demography is alarming. Every year over 8 lakh Hindus become either Christians or Muslims. Religious conversion of Hindus is a threat to India’s integrity. Nearly 6000 converted to Islam in Kerala in last 5 years. In last 5 years the Gujarat Govt has received. 1838 applications from people of various religions to convert to another religion, of them 95 percent was filed by Hindus. 7 decades after independence and even after rapid political, social and economic strides, we still struggle for our existence. 500 hundred years of slavery at hands of Muslim Invaders and then Christian British, yet we haven’t learnt anything. We should vote for that govt who will apply strict conversion law. An able govt should take care of all its citizen of India irrespective of its religion

6. Phobia: Is it wrong to have phobia or being scared because of cases like Kairana, West Bengal, Bombay riots. We are wary and rightly so. We protect our own now and rightly so, if 500 years of volatile history and bloodshed cannot stop and change the recent scenarios, nothing will.

Fire, ignites the passion and like phoenix we have risen from ashes to survive.

Thousand who laid down their lives, ignited this same passion in us, we have risen from the hell-fire which consumed us for centuries. Finally we have a right-wing government at centre. We are at a point where we can make difference by raising right issues, and voicing our support to the current govt. Liberals want us to tolerate their fallacy and according to them, accept their opinion “as it maintains the thin fabric of secularism”.

Speak for your rights and voice your opinion.

It’s not easy, with forces (corrupt politicians, crook and retarded pseudo leftist and sold out biased media) against working the current government, still we are standing tall.

Anyone for equality?

राष्ट्र बनाम हिन्दू – कैसे भारतीय राजनीति ने ‘धर्म-निरपेक्षता’ की धारणा को बर्बाद किया है

किसी ज्ञानी ने कहा था, “जब आप विशेषाधिकार के आदी हो जाते हैं, तो समानता अत्याचार लगने लगता है”

इस उत्कृष्ट उद्धरण का स्मरण हो आया जब कल प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के भाषण ने तथाकित वामपंथ-उन्मुक्तियों (लेफ्ट-लिबरल) में उन्मत्त उग्रता को भड़का दिया। ये भड़क एक वक्तव्य से उठी जब उन्होंने हिन्दुओं और मुस्लिमों के लिए समान अधिकारों की माँग हुई: 1) रमज़ान और दिवाली में बिजली, और 2) श्मशान और कब्रों की ज़मीनों में निष्पक्ष वितरण।

ये समाजवादी पार्टी द्वारा अल्पसंख्यक सम्प्रदाय की खुल्लम-खुल्ला मनुहारी योजनाओं की पृष्ठभूमि के तहत सामने आता है, जिसमें बिजली वितरण भी शामिल है (ये रिपोर्ट पढ़ें)। किसी भी समझदार व्यक्ति को समान अधिकारों की माँग में आपत्तिजनक क्या लग सकता है?

किन्तु, नए भारतीय राजनीति में समझदारी और तर्क का क़त्ल सबसे पहले हुआ है, खासकर मोदी के आने के बाद। इस भाषण के बाद उन्हें साम्प्रदायिक और विभाजक घोषित करने की कोशिश हुई और उनपर धार्मिक चिंगारी को भड़काने के इल्ज़ाम भी लगे। विडम्बना ये है कि उनकी इस माँग को कईयों ने सबका साथ सबका विकास के खिलाफ बताया, जबकि ऐसा है नहीं, जैसे कि इस रिपोर्ट से बिलकुल साफ़ है। ये विडंबना हास्यास्पद होती अगर तात्पर्य इतने दुखांत नहीं होते।

यह सब हमें इस प्रश्न पर ला कर खड़ा करता है कि हम ऐसी स्थिति में आखिर पहुँचे ही कैसे कि हिन्दुओं के लिए बराबरी के अधिकार की माँग पर व्यक्ति को सांप्रदायिक घोषित कर दिया जाता है? और इससे भी भयावह यह है कि, हम ‘कैसे’ इस परिस्थिति में पहुँच गए कि हमें समान अधिकार की ‘माँग’ करनी पड़ रही है? क्या यह सुनिश्चित नहीं हुआ था जब ‘धर्म-निरपेक्ष’ शब्द को संविधान में जोड़ा गया था? आखिर ऐसा क्या हो गया कि अल्पसंख्यकों की दलाली को खुलेआम बढ़ावा दिया जाता है और जब हिन्दुओं द्वारा समान अधिकारों की माँग होती है तो उन्मुक्ति क़त्ल का हल्ला रोने लगते हैं?

क्या हमने छोटे-छोटे, मासूम से लगने वाले मनुहारी इशारों को काफ़ी देर और काफ़ी दूर तक उपेक्षित किया है? या फिर कारण ये है कि वामपंथ-झुकाव वाली मीडिया ने सच बताने में इतने समय तक बेहद नरमी बरती है? या फिर ऐसा है कि भारी हिन्दू जनसंख्या की राजनैतिक यथार्थता इसका कारण है?

पृष्ठ में ऐसे कई मौके हैं जब नेताओं ने अल्पसंख्यकों को लुभाने वाले वाक्य बोले और हमारे तथाकित धर्मनिरपेक्ष-उन्मुक्तियों ने उन्हें अनदेखा कर दिया। यूपी चुनाव एक मुलायम सिंह यादव की स्मृति लौटाते हैं जो कि १९९० में मुख्यमंत्री थे, राम जन्मभूमि आन्दोलन के समय।

कुछ समय पहले ही, चुनावों से ठीक पहले, मुलायम ने स्वीकार किया कि १६ करसेवकों की गोली मारकर हत्या का आदेश देना उनके लिए बेहद पीड़ादायक था पर “मुस्लिमों के विश्वास को कायम रखने के लिए” ऐसा करना ज़रूरी था। उन्होंने यहाँ तकातक बोल दिया कि मुस्लिमों के डर को ख़त्म करने के लिए, उस समय वो इनसे भी ज़्यादा करसेवकों को मारने का आदेश दे सकते थे।

इस बात को अन्दर पेरने दीजिये कि एक पूर्व-मुख्यमंत्री, जो कि अभी राजनीति में सक्रिय है, इस बात से बिलकुल बचकर निकल गया कि उसने सिर्फ मुस्लिमों के डर को दूर करने के लिए हिन्दुओं को जान से मारने की अनुमति दी थी। इस बात को नरेंद्र मोदी के उस बयान से तुलना कीजिये जब उनके एक काल्पनिक पिल्ले का कार के पहियों के नीचे आ जाने की बात पर हल्ला खड़ा किया गया था। “भारत की कल्पना” एक ‘काल्पनिक पिल्ले’ को ‘सरकार द्वारा जीवित हिन्दुओं को मारने’ के खिलाफ प्राथमिकता दी जाती है, यही इस समय की गाथा बताता है।

और मनमोहन सिंह के उस बयान को कौन भूल सकता है जो उन्होंने लाल किले के दुर्ग प्राचीर से अल्पसंख्यकों के बारे में दी थी, खासकर मुस्लिम, जिनका भारत के संसाधनों पर पहला अधिकार है? क्या उस बेहद भड़कीले, और बताने की आवश्यकता नहीं, असंवैधानिक बयान पर, उन्हें सांप्रदायिक और विभाजक घोषित किया गया?

असंख्य ऐसी नीतियाँ जैसे कि शिक्षा का अधिकार (जो कि ‘अल्पसंख्यकों द्वारा चलाए गए स्कूलों’ को गरीब बच्चों को भर्ती ना करने की आज़ादी देता है, जिनमें ज़्यादातर वंचित हिन्दू हैं) और मंदिर प्रबन्धन पर नियंत्रण, स्पष्ट रूप से हिन्दू-विरोधी व्यवस्थाएँ हैं, जो कि केंद्र में तथाकित हिन्दू सरकार छू भी नहीं पाई है। और इनमें हाल ही के तेलंगाना सरकार के घोषणा को जोड़ें, जिसमें वो सिर्फ अल्पसंख्यक सम्प्रदाय के लोगों को आर्थिक सहायता देगी, जैसे सभी हिन्दू कार चालक बेहद समृद्ध हैं।

सम्पूर्ण राजनैतिक विस्तार में, नेताओं ने सरेआम अल्पसंख्यक लुभावन वक्तव्य दिए हैं जिनमें ममता बनर्जी और अरविन्द केजरीवाल शामिल हैं। एक बार को हम उन्हें मत बटोरने की नीति मानकर अनदेखा भी कर सकते हैं, अगर यह सिर्फ नेताओं तक ही सीमित होते तो। किन्तु हालात बेहद खराब हैं।

ये दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण और डरावना है कि हमारी न्यायिक और कानून लागू करने वाली प्रणालियाँ भी इस लुभावन डंक से डसी जा चुकी है। या फिर और भी खतरनाक स्थिति यह है कि ये नेता ऐसी परिस्थिति बनाने में कामयाब हो गए हैं जहाँ ये संस्थाएँ, जो कि न्यायपूर्ण और सौहार्दपूर्ण समाज की रीढ़ होती हैं, को इस कदर प्रभावहीन बना दिया गया है।

हाल ही में एक आरटीआई आवेदन डाला गया था जिसमें पूजा स्थलों पर उपयोग में लाए जाने वाले लाउडस्पीकर्स पर न्यायालय के आदेश पर की गई कार्यवाही के बारे में जानने की कोशिश की गई। आरटीआई से सामने आया कि मुंबई पुलिस उन मस्जिदों पर कार्यवाही करने से कतरा रही है क्योंकि उन्हें “इससे बिगड़ने वाले कानून और व्यवस्था हालातों” का डर है। फिर से, इस बात पर कोई हल्ला नहीं होता कि हमारी कानून व्यवस्था को बनाने वाली संस्थाओं को एक धार्मिक समुदाय के डर ने नपुंसक बना दिया है।

उसी तरह से, एक हाल ही के निर्णय में, मुंबई उच्च न्यायलय ने एक आदेश जारी किया है जिसमें सोसाइटीज़ में बकरियों के संहार की अनुमति दी गई है। तो अगर आप हिन्दू हैं या इस विषय में कोई भी जो अपने मकान के आसपास किसी भी पशुवध को देखकर विचलित हो सकते हैं, तो आप इस बारे में शायद ही कुछ कर सकते हैं।

अभी तक की विशिष्ट सरकारी नीतियाँ, जो कि सरकार अल्पसंख्यकों को देती आई है, हिन्दुओं को स्वीकार था, और ये सब “धर्म-निरपेक्ष” सरकार के बावजूद। यदाकदा, ज़रूर कुछ धीमी आवाजों में सवाल उठे हैं, लेकिन कुल मिलाकर हिन्दू समाज सामंजस्य में रहा है।

लेकिन ये लंबित समभाव ने स्थिति को यहाँ तक पहुँचा दिया है कि अब हिन्दुओं का बड़ा वर्ग अपने आपको कोने में संकुचित पा रहा है। मनौती का प्रभाव अब बेहद करीब से चोट करने लगा है और भय का अस्तित्व अब और उजागर दिख रहा है, जैसे-जैसे वोट बैंक राजनीति की तीव्रता चरम पर पहुँच रही है।

जब एक “धर्म-निरपेक्ष” देश में समानता की माँग को “सांप्रदायिक” घोषित किया जा रहा है, तो इस मनुहारी चालित राजनीति से लगभग शांतपूर्ण सम्प्रदाय को क्या उम्मीद हो सकती है? क्या ये तमाम हिन्दुओं के लिए एक निर्णायक मोड़ साबित हो सकता है? या फिर हम “धर्म-निरपेक्षता” की आड़ में अपना हनन करवाना जारी रखेंगे?

Who is communal: Modi or Manmohan Singh?

Addressing an election rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently said, “No government should discriminate the public on the lines of religion and caste. Sabka saath, sabka vikas is our mantra”, PM Modi said. “Ramzan mein bijli aati hai tho Diwali mein bhi aani chaahiye; Holi mein bijli aati hai to eid mein bhi aani chaahiye. Bhed-bhaav nahi hona chaahiye (If there is electricity during Ramadan; it must be available during Diwali too. If there is electricity during Holi; it must be available during Eid too. There shouldn’t be any discrimination), the prime minister added. He said, “Gaon me kabristan banta hai to shamshaan bhi banna chahiye (If there is a ‘kabaristaan’ (graveyard), there should be a ‘shamshaan’ (cremation ground) too).”

This statement given by PM Modi can be termed as, “The most secular statement ever made by any politician in India” as it speaks about equal treatment to all sections of the society without any discrimination.

Several opposition parties including the Congress Party has termed the statement of the Prime Minister Modi as “communal”. Reacting to the statement of the PM Modi, Congress spokesman Anand Sharma said, “He must not give such wrong and irresponsible statements. EC should take note of PM’s statement, this is a clear violation of their directions.”

CPM leader Sitaram Yechury also slammed the PM’s comments as being “communal” and “intended to divide Hindus and Muslims”.

Probably, the opposition parties, which are responsible for dividing the society and country on the basis of caste and religion, are shocked by the fact that how easily and smoothly PM Modi is exposing these parties. Before we proceed further, let us examine one “secular” statement given by Senior Congress Leader and Former Prime Minister in 2006. While delivering his address at the 52nd meeting of the National Development Council in December 2006, former Primer Minister Manmohan Singh stated, “Minorities, particularly Muslims, must have the first claim on resources.”

Now, if we compare the above two statements given by PM Modi and the statement given by Former PM Manmohan Singh, it will not be very difficult to know as to whose statement is actually “communal” and whose statement is “secular”.

When PM Modi calls for the equal treatment to all sections of the society, irrespective of their caste or religion, that is the height of “secularism” and when Former PM Manmohan Singh calls for allocating the resources of the country based on the caste and religion, is the height of the “communalism.”

People of the Country are now adequately educated and do not get misguided by the political parties, who were misleading and dividing the country for the last several decades, discriminating the society on the basis of caste and religion.

We hope that better sense will prevail on the so called secular (actually communal) parties, and these parties will soon realize that people of this country are no longer willing to buy their lies.

नकली नोटों के पीछे का सच

नकली नोटों के पीछे का सच

दिनाँक 22 फ़रवरी, 2017 को मीडिया द्वारा यह ख़बर चलायी गयी कि स्टेट बैंक ऑफ़ इंडिया के ATM से ₹2000 के चार नकली नोट निकले। ख़बर की पुष्टि किये बिना ही विपक्ष के नेताओं ने प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी और रिज़र्व बैंक ऑफ़ इंडिया पर निशाना साधना शुरू कर दिया। इसमें दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री केजरीवाल और उनके अनुचरों ने प्रधानमंत्री को ‘चूर्ण छाप’, ‘पापी’ और ना जाने क्या क्या कह डाला। श्री केजरीवाल पूर्व IRS रह चुके हैं, और उनकी अज्ञानता को देखकर लगता हैं कि शिक्षित व्यक्तियों का राजनीति में होना या नहीं होना अप्रभावी हैं।

आइये, अब बात करते हैं मनोरंजन बैंक/चिल्ड्रन बैंक ऑफ़ इंडिया के नोटों के पीछे के सच की:

हर देश में बच्चों के खेलने के उद्देश्य से नकली नोट खिलौने बनाने वाली कम्पनियां बनाती और बेचती हैं। इसके अलावा नोट के डिज़ाइन में कई अन्य वस्तुएँ भी बाज़ार में आसानी से उपलब्ध हैं।

रिज़र्व बैंक द्वारा नोट कड़ी सुरक्षा और उच्च मानकों के आधार पर छापे जाते हैं। रिज़र्व बैंक द्वारा संचालित प्रेस कोई आम प्रेस नहीं होती जहाँ कुछ भी कैसे भी छापा जा सकता हैं, इसलिए ये मान लेना कि रिज़र्व बैंक चिल्ड्रन बैंक के नाम से नोट छापेगा, इसे मूर्खता ही कहा जाएगा।

अब प्रश्न यह हैं कि आखिर ये नोट ATM में कैसे पहुँचे? यहाँ यह बताना आवश्यक हैं कि ATM में नोट डालने की जिम्मेदारी सम्बंधित बैंक और उसकी पूर्व निर्धारित शाखा के प्रबंधक की होती हैं, ना कि RBI अथवा प्रधानमंत्री की। ATM में ना केवल नए नोट बल्कि जनता द्वारा जमा किये गये नोट भी भरे जाते हैं। ये चूरन छाप नोट भी बैंक के किसी ग्राहक द्वारा ही जमा किये गए और कैशियर की लापरवाही की वज़ह से ये ATM तक पहुँचे। चूँकि ₹2000 के नोट हाल ही में छपे हैं और लोग पुराने नोटों की तरह इन्हें परखने के अभी आदी नहीं हुए हैं इसलिए यह सम्भव हैं कि नकली नोट चलन में आ गए हो; परन्तु बैंक अधिकारियों का लापरवाह होना आश्चर्यपूर्ण हैं।

अब यदि आपके साथ ऐसी चोट हो जाये तो इसका उपाय क्या हैं? दो उपाय हैं, एक आसान और दूसरा सही।

पहला आसान उपाय, आप मीडिया को ख़बर दे और हंगामा खड़ा कर दें।

दूसरा उपाय, ATM से नोट निकालकर उन्हें परख लें, यदि नोट नकली हैं तो ATM की रसीद संभाल कर रख लें और सम्बंधित बैंक शाखा से सम्पर्क करें। हालाँकि शाखा प्रबंधक मुकर जाएंगे कि ये नकली नोट उनके ATM से निकले हैं; तो आप उन्हें ATM की डाटा-शीट निकलने को कहें। इस डाटा-शीट में कौनसे ट्रांसक्शन में किस सीरियल नम्बर के नोट निकले हैं, इसका लेखा-जोखा होता हैं। इस तरह आप अपने को नुकसान होने से बचा सकते हैं।

India and Casteism

“We are racists”, concluded Dr. Amith (name changed), MD Pharmacology post graduate student  in Raichur, Karnataka. There was pin drop silence in the hall. Some were agreeing with him, some had lowered their heads out of shame. Some were left with the confusion and thinking ‘are we’?.

It was a meeting of “Vivekananda Milan” a medical students organisation. We used to have regular weekly meeting and had done many charity works. It was September 01, Saturday 2012, there were rumors regarding some northeast Indians mobbed near Raichur Bus stand. It was in between a month of few incidents of such attacks on NE Indians in Bangalore after the violence broke out in Rohingya, Myanmar.  In between that one such rumor of attack in Raichur made them more insecure. Milan group emergency meeting was called to deal with the scenario arrived. Dr Amith was one of our invitees, spoke in length about how intolerant our society is and concluded saying “we are racists”.

There was quiescent silence among the gathering. We could only hear the sounds of vehicles passing by the road next to hall. It was already 9 pm. I had to conclude the meeting. I got up with a sigh and said “Yes Dr Amith was right and we are racists”. If we go through most of the news papers, Op-eds, articles, books, same thing has been said repeatedly, but when we cross check those with facts, we get to know how much biased and narrow visioned these articles are!

India is always blamed for casteism and racism. Yes, true it has definitely harmed our society. But question is, is caste factor found only in India? If so, there would have been no bloody war in Syria, Libya, Iraq and other Arab countries. No racial fights in USA by now at least. Supremacy wouldn’t have kept North & South Korea divided. No white Supremacy, no slavery would have been done by European countries since scores of centuries1. There wouldn’t have been a Albhigensian Crusade2, 3and other sectarian violence within thousands of denominations 4. 1967 wouldn’t have been a year to consider Aboriginals of Australia as humans5. It wouldn’t have taken so long to end “Aparthied’ in South Africa till 19946.

Untouchability is/was there all over the world. From France (Cagots) to Japan (Burakumin), from Korea (Beakjeong) to Europe (Romani), from Tibet (Ragyabpa) to Dalit (India) & many more 7. Even slavery was worldwide phenomenon since ages with contrast difference between India and the world, where in the former it was less compared to rest of the world. 8,9

India is no immune to casteism  and racism. Similar to rest of the world casteism, racism, slavery was there and it has presence in modern times. But definitely above data indicates intensity was less compared to rest of the world. In India Sikhs become ‘Sardar’, South Indians become ‘Madrasi’, northeast people become ‘Chinki’ & in north east rest of Indians become Hindi, even targeted by a few terrorist organizations etc. Even now there is a difference of opinion between castes, sects, states.

Racism and casteism is there in the blood of humans because of the animal instinct10. Every living being wants to preserve and pass their genes. So we the humans too. Generally we will be attracted or feel defensive towards our genes or genes which resembles that of ours (race/community). But we being intelligent animals, we need to overcome our animal instincts, so to have humanity and to be called as human beings. 11

If we ‘google’ for massacre in India, we will get all massacres happened onwards of 1000 AD from invaders and Timur top the list 12. But within Indian culture there were no major massacres except few small scale local violence or Skirmishes between castes/sects 13. All Jauhar happened due to barbarism of invading cultures14 . But if we consider foreign countries we get to find long lasting lists of ethnic cleansing massacres within the same culture or invaders 15. What prevented Indians from doing so?

Answer is Indian Culture. Indian philosophy gives ample of evidences, examples of how god resides in every life. plants to animals, humans to non living things, from Brahmin to Shudras.

Shiva himself is a god who lives in forests of Himalaya along with all animal gods, from predator to prey together harmoniously. Nandi to tiger/ lion of Parvati. Ratnakar was a tribal warrior turned to be a dacoit and later he became Rishi Valmiki and wrote  Ramayana. Rishi  Vyasa, who didn’t have good look was son of a fisher woman and wrote Mahabharath.

Drona & Kuchela were also poor men. Minister Vidura was son of a Dasi. Vishwamitra was a Kshatriya by birth, Rishi Satyakama Jabala was son of a prostitute, Lord Shiva appeared to Shankaracharya in ‘Chandala’ (Shudra) form, Shiva appeared and blesses tribal Kannappa Nayanar who offered his hunted flesh to god out of pure, innocent devotion. Ravana was a Brahmin but became Asura. Asura king Bali attained Moksha  due to his good deeds. In modern times Budha, Mahavir, Adi Shankaracharya, Purandara Dasa, Kanaka Dasa, Basavanna, Kabira, Shirdi Sai, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and many other reformers sporadically made this clear that God is omnipresent.

In Bhagavadgita, Chapter 4, Shloka 13, part 1 Lord Krishna says,

“CHATUR VARNAM MAYAA SHISHTAM

GUNA KARMA VIBHAGASHAHA, TASYA KARTARAM,

API MAAM VIDDI AKARTARAM AVYAYAM”.

Which means ‘Guna’, the qualities and ‘karma’ the action decide which verna (caste) one belongs to. So the caste is changeable according to the differentiation of qualities and action.

Vedic verse says

“JANMANA JAYATHE SUDHRAH

SAMSKARAD BHAVED DVIJAH,

VEDA PATHAD VIPRA,

BRAMHA JANTITI BRAHMANAH-”

Which says, by birth one is shudra (lower caste), by refinement becomes Dvijah (Knowledgeable, higher caste), by attaining knowledge/cognizance one becomes Vipra (much higher caste) and ultimately who attains knowledge of god is Brahman (supreme caste).

In spite of these reiteration, there are always misinterpretors: Dhobi (laundry man) from Ramayana times to present days some communists & western minded historians. From rulers like  Dhana Nanda, Jayachandra to present day vote bank politics and some elite lutyenes, who have always misguided the society by wrong interpretations and made society to believe falsehood as truth. Since the ages some elites have selectively taken few verses, stories, Puranas according to their narrative which suits their political, socioeconomical aspirations. Added to it loss of centralized universities like Nalanda by invaders lead to a loss of centres for exchange of ideas. These are a few among other major factors which lead to caste based discrimination.

We have lost the sense of faith on real meaning behind Puranas, moral stories, traits of  the great saints and we have opted to live a shallow and benighted life. Indian history was never a bloody history, until the encroachment of invaders. It’s  because our great saints who always reminded the society about true meaning of life from Budha to Vivekananda and Dr. Ambedkar. These greats from time to time instead of bringing change by violence or blood thirsty revolutions, opted to bring change within the system and along with existing culture. They made sure that religious, ethnical, cultural democracy was kept alive17. That’s the reason our Indian culture binds us to form unity in diversity which makes us proud to be Indian and part of the tolerant society. Lets learn from the various truthful messages of Indian Philosophy, rather than following the ostensible observations, blind rituals and worships. Let’s move towards ‘Varna’ designations based on our work rather than following the caste system based on birth. Let the world follow the actual messages given by Lord Krishna, Buddha, Mahaveera, Jesus Christ, Guru Govind and many other glorified souls.

“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.
