Ode to Shashi Tharoor

0

A riposte to Shashi Tharoor of Indian National Congress- a farrago of effete corps of jejune claques.

A party of Indian fame

Has become so tame

Under a Italian dame

That it can never be the same.

Their claims that the new regime came

Not to change the game

But only to change the name

Sounds so awfully lame.

They indulge in mindless blame

Day in and day out with endless shame

Forgetting that their party is a dying flame.

Politicising the Army: An effort to attract liberal voters?

0

The recent times have witnessed disrespectful and baseless comparisons, disgusting allegations and abuses hurled at the Indian Army, Chief Of Army Staff and Major Gogoi (an Indian Army officer). We saw the man of iron, like a true soldier stands up to his army of courageous, smart and strong soldiers who serve their nation!

From Major Gogoi being disrespected, to Army Chief being accused. From the gang of liberals complaining about the commendation medal given to Major, to the Congressmen hurling abuses at the COAS. From Mr. Partha Chatterjee comparing Gen. Bipin Rawat to Gen. Dyer, to Brinda Karat justifying Sandeep Dikshit calling the Gen. a street thug. From UNITY in diversity, to DIVERSITY in diversity!

It all started when the opposition realized that there’s no coming back to power! It all started when will for winning the elections overpowered the will for welfare of the citizens. It all started when, firstly religion and later almost everything was ‘politicized’!

A year or two back, Twitter meant, people, photos, jokes, chats etc. Today it’s filled with useless rants, illogical reasoning, anti-nationalist sentiments, lame excuses and disgusting accusations. More importantly, it’s obvious that the credit goes to the “herd of sheep” mentality of followers of political parties and varied retarded ideologies.
Where have we gone wrong as a nation? Where have we gone wrong as a citizen? Where have we gone wrong as “INDIANS”?

The Indian Army as we see, is the nation’s army, the citizen’s army. Mind you. Not BJP’s, not Congress’ neither AAP’s. It all started off with Arvind Kejriwal! The common man initiated it when he demanded proof of surgical strikes just to hit back and oppose the BJP govt. Little did he realize he had unleashed a disgusting mindset wherein anyone and everyone could question and accuse the Indian Army; wherein Indians would speak against their army; wherein Indians stand divided, not as in history for their various rich culture and heritage, but for the political differences. Arvind Kejriwal, the common man, made it seem like the army was BJP’s asset. Now everyone thinks similarly.

Arvind Kejriwal’s baseless question was backed by Sanjay Nirupam of Congress, Sitaram Yechuri of CPIM, Kapil Sibal, Rahul Gandhi and so many more. But here the amazing part is that surgical strikes have happened across the LoC for about 4 times. Let’s briefly look at these:

2008: Avenging the beheading of a soldier by Pakistan’s BAT in Kel sector. In army’s retaliation, 8 Pakistani soldiers were killed.
2011: Operation Ginger: Retaliation to the sudden attack on army post in Kupwara. 13 Pakistani soldiers were killed.
2013: Operation Badla: Avenging the beheading of Lance Naik Hemraj by Pakistan’s BAT. In retaliation 3 Pakistan army posts were destroyed and more than 6 soldiers and terrorists killed.
And finally as we know, in 2016, another one which was held to avenge the Uri Attack by Pakistan’s forces.

Until 2016 no one, asked for proofs for the army’s attacks and how it affected the enemy. Probably because AAP wasn’t in existence back then?

Next is the Kashmir issue. It is not new or as some people criticize, it is not since the Modi government. Since July 1988, Kashmir has witnessed the rise of strikes and attacks against the Indian government. This was a result of Farooq Abdullah, after the death of his dad Sheikh Abdullah (who very much supported the idea of India), decided to join hands with the ruling party Congress to win the election. So he did, but he was accused of rigging it and hence started the clashes. In the following years, Pakistan sponsored cross border infiltration and insurgency situation arised. Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar E Taibah came into Kashmir. While Hizbul is still in prominence, LeT influence seems to have narrowed down in the valley, while Jaish E Mohammad is said to be operating still.

Since 2008 when over 500,000 people gathered to stand against the construction of temporary temples for Hindu pilgrims and 2010 when Indian army was accused of a staged encounter, youth have been actively involved in the unrest in Kashmir. Due to the increased Islamic radicalization and funds, recruits and training from across the border, anti-Indian sentiments are at a peak high. The so called misinformed aka brainwashed Kashmiri youths (definitely there are exemptions) have now made it their daily chore to pelt stones at the army, to raise Azaadi (aka support Pak/terror) slogans and take a stand against India and the Indian army.

Again, here comes the sad part, while their outrage is due to brainwashed sentiments and external influence, some highly educated people sitting in the comfort of their home, within the borders of India, have forgotten the fact that it is the army that gives them their so called privacy, freedom of speech (you may ask how: if soldiers weren’t on the borders, if continuous infiltration took place, if internal clashes happened on a daily basis, what happens? People get killed, what is the use of freedom of speech when you aren’t alive), and so much more!

Now here came a major applauding action by Major Gogoi.

It all started when the video of this guy tied to the front of a jeep went viral. At the time truth about the situation not known, most asked for the truth, half guessed the situation while Rana Bibi, oops Rana Ayyub, Barkha Dutt, Owaisi, Farooq, Omar were all first in taking advantage of the video (“Yet another chance to criticize the army! Why would I leave that!”).

When the truth came out, we realized that an officer in a stiff situation, handled it with such smartness without actually causing any casualties to both the army or the civilians. (But hey, we don’t want the good part, it’s a democracy, we have the right to criticize. Right?) People bashed Maj. Gogoi over and over, for an intelligent move of his. Then came the major twist.

Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat, decided to award Major Gogoi an Army Chief’s Commendation medal to applaud his bravery and sensibility shown in the situation whose consequences could’ve been worse if weapons were used or someone was shot at!

Here comes the Liberal Brigade. Here started the “Minute to Fame” moment for many politicians, so called journalists, anchors and historians. Initiated by the Twitter liberal gang mentioned earlier, this grew overly political day by day.

Criticism for awarding Major Gogoi poured in from all over the country. Army veterans including H.S. Panag, Col. Anil Kaul etc blurted out against the Army Chief stating that the action insults the morale of the Indian Army. PDP called it a “gross violation of human rights” while Hindustan Times stated that he is “talking like a politician”.

Prakash Karat blamed the chief for letting down the professional standards of the Indian Army. Did you know? CPM has always supported the separatist leaders in the valley. Last September CPM leaders Sitaram Yechury and some others went to meet Gheelani at his house but were left humiliated when Gheelani refused to meet them. Yet, the party goes all bongers for the separatist ideologies.

India Today proudly named their article “General Bipin Rawat’s chemistry with controversies” while Indian Express blamed his “silly hat” for his “silly behaviour”. Prakash Karat said that the army is suppressing the rights of people who are politically protesting! What he didn’t say here is, they are protesting against the country that gives them the right to protest. So basically Prakash is yet another China fed mor-on who regrets not being able to serve his country China!

But Gen. Bipin Rawat himself cleared the confusions when he said that the comments by people on his statements that have been misinterpreted doesn’t affect him anyhow. He also recently stated that the human shield incident was legit during that situation but shouldn’t be used an a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as the army respects human  rights. Amidst all the hatred, true countrymen took pride in saying that Army Chief General Bipin Rawat is an inspiration and the country supports determined people like him. These, dear readers, these are the people, you, me and every Indian should learn from!

That was almost settling down that the next stood in line with a much more abusive comment- A Sadak Ka Gunda was what Mr Sandeep Dikshit ex Parliament MLA of Congress was seen saying when asked about the aggressive comments of Pakistan Chief Gen. Qamar Bajwa. Though Rahul Gandhi himself made clear that this was not expected and even though many BJP members talked against the issue, no further action was taken in this regard.

In between all these going on there was the member of the ruling party of Kerala Mr Balakrishnan who in a speech against BJP brought up the army and stated that “Indian Army…” You might very well know what he stated. It is indeed disgusting, that I don’t feel like even typing it here. That would demean my respect and admiration for the army. It’s true that the citizens should fear the army. It’s the lack of that fear that has led to this disgusting outrage which many are ashamed of and many are proud of.

Dear Liberals, you question a man who dedicated his entire life to that nation, you disrespect a man who in spite of such hatred from the citizens he works for, still serves the countrymen. He, a man, in a country of 2.52 Billion people made it to this prestigious post last year, you question him about how well he knows his job? Let’s be straight here, you don’t have the “aukat” to question this man. Period.

To me, as a defense aspirant and a citizen of India, being a soldier and serving the country, is above all freaking job perks, money and comfort. To quote from the recent movie Commando 2- “Jo maza desh ki seva karne main hain na! Wo kisi aur kaam main bilkul nahi hain!” And the word “Desh” here refers to you unfortunately! They work day and night to support you and all you return is “Gaddari”?

When you speak against them, imagine yourself in their shoes. You liberals, self-obsessed retards would just leave the job once and for all  and resort to the comforts of your air conditioned room if you faced such backstabbing behaviour. But they? Despite the constant hatred and stupid abuses, they choose to serve you. We have seen their relentless service during the Uttarakhand and Chennai disasters. You think rescuing those stranded would have been possible without them?

Let’s be clear, if soldiers for once thought like the so called politicians, journalists or historians, we’ll have thousands dying everyday! The situation we are looking at today could be a threat to the country’s unity tomorrow.
Recently as Major Surendra Poonia and Major Gaurav Arya spoke in several debates,

“Dear politicians, you have problems with Modi and the government, deal it with him and the government, don’t pull in the armed forces, for; they represent and work for the country as a whole, not one person, party, religion or community”

So dear countrymen, INTROSPECT! By disrespecting them, what do you earn? By using the freedom of speech against the country that has given you the freedom of speech, what do you earn?

We never thank the oxygen that helps us survive everyday, do we? But if they were to disappear for even 10 minutes, we very well know the consequences! So thank those who don’t the olive greens, maroon berets carrying the heavy backpacks guarding the borders and within.

And lastly: “Don’t ever ask a soldier why he chose to be one! Ask yourself why you didn’t!

Some side effects of patriarchy

0

Voicing your opinion has its own implications in Indian society. I am not here to garner accolades or sympathies. I believe every girl (feels more empowered to be called a woman. But patriarchy doesn’t even spare children. A sad state!) should be given her due respect and not treated as another addition to family who is going to give birth to their Waaris. The problem is with expectations. Poor are the fathers of their daughters whose identity change the moment they get married. My father proudly used to introduce me as a studious and overachiever to everyone. Yes, I did Masters in US but, that did not spare me from living as a suppressed and undervalued Bahu. Why is a Bahu measured in terms of Gunvati? Why can’t she be measured based on merit and wit?

So, my father and I often have debate about politics, actors and prevailing cultural issues. My entire family, even my aunts and uncles have that receiving end of a conversation. They listen and if they do not agree, they put a counterargument and it continues so on. Mind you, this is all done respectfully and in good humor. My dad is an avid BJP supporter and I try to pick out the failures of the ruling government, not to demoralize him but to keep him updated of the situation. Damn it! Everybody has that power to listen to a girl child in our family. The case is reversed in in-laws house. They CANNOT LISTEN. What’s the matter with you guys? Don’t you know that women have opinions and they can share it too? Why are only men entitled to decide? That is sooooooo wrong. Which generation are you living in? Seriously women in my in laws family, please WAKE UP! We have to fight for ourselves. Men are not going to serve us equality. Get some time off from all the rituals. God must be wondering ‘I did not make you so weak, quit praying and get to work’.

Not every home is perfect. Mine was not too. I grew in a slightly offbeat family where my father took major decisions for the family until he screwed up (resigned from his job) and has been trying to gain back the trust since then. And my mother took over the decision making part. My father gave me a lot of empowerment speeches and had his entire trust in me that I am not less than any guy and men and women are equal by birth. My mother, being an Indian mother of a girl constantly worried that I would face the same hardships that she faced in her in laws’ family. She tried to prepare me for all the daily chores a Bahu has to do any given day. But I learned it only when I was ready for it. I was the only child and was messed up in my own ways. I wasn’t happy in my own home. I felt like my mother is turning into my evil in law and I wanted to get rid of her clutches. I wanted to be independent and self-surviving woman and I was not too far from achieving it. My dad never pushed me to study further after Bachelors. He put a straightforward proposal of marriage after my final year, which he wanted me to refuse. I can sense it DAD! I wanted to work or study further, I couldn’t make up my mind. I was ready to leave home and start living independently but there was no plan.

Hopeless! You would say. No, I was in a far better place 8 years ago. I had the right to decide the direction I wanted to go. Now, I cannot talk to my FIL in the same tone as his. I mean WHAT? Am I in some remote village in Haryana or Rajasthan? No, I am in Hyderabad, a metropolitan city. This tells me how much influence does place and people have on the conservative ideology of a person. I always dreamt of a home where everyone would treat me with almost equal respect to my husband and my opinions were respected not ignored. Soon, I was tagged as the disrespectful Bahu. Why am I to blame? I was raised in such a family where all of the above were true. Even if your husband is modern and values your opinion, the moment you go against his family you become a ‘pampered and doesn’t know how to talk’ person. AGAIN WTF!

As soon as I am married, I get the tag ‘Badi Bahu’. Just before one day I was this ignorant, chirpy, dancing to my own tunes hopeless girl and now I am Badi Bahu? I know nothing about this family and you tag me with this big ass title? No! Spare me. I feel like I am complaining a lot. But I was not that kind of person until I got married, so who is it to blame? Free will is a myth even today for most of the Indian women living out there who could not get patriarchal values out of their modern husbands. I do not know if men are really to blame. Indian women have ingrained the bread earner as their God and this trend continues without any objection.

Fathers of daughters who are trying to get their daughters married to a wealthy guy using dowry, do you even realize what are you sowing? Your daughter will remain suppressed for her life and your grandson will continue your heritage of patriarchy. Make use of your money to get your daughter a profession she can excel in. Make her work even if she has all the comfort in the world, it will make her appreciate the independence of workingwomen. And girls who don’t want to work by choice, having a rich father is not a boon, soon you will find yourself in a place where you are not even allowed to have a dream and your in laws dreams are imposed on you.

Why as a nationalist I am against the formation of ‘Gorkhaland’

0

Now this article may upset many of my Gorkha friends.

My mother’s maternal  home is in Darjeeling & from my childhood a deep & a strong bond has been formed with the hills. The Gorkhland issue is not new. It is going on from decades. Faces of protests have changed from Subhas Ghising to Madan Tamang to Bimal Gurung & so do the circumstances.

The recent protests erupted when Mamata Banerjee tried to enforce Bengali language in the hills. Bimal Gurung & his men were up with arms strongly protesting the move & urging the use of local Nepali language. The tussle of language got converted to prestige issue & then into land issue & ‘Bangalis’ fav tourist spot was again burning.

Tourist stranded, vehicles torched, police injured, locals killed. The place was a mess so much so that HMO had to move in 3 columns of CRPF to control the situation. Now coming to the the point, why I have reservations against Gorkhaland. The reasons are cited below:

1. Bimal Gurung is a two faced snake. The Gorkhaland agitation in the recent history was started my Subhas Ghising. The moderate & soft spoken Ghising was loved by all even by Mamta who was in opposition then held talks with him. Ghising was upset with the way local hill leaders were functioning & blamed Gurung for that. What happened after that is history. Once friends & colleagues Ghising & Gurung were at war, so much so that Gurung was ready to compromise & shake hands with CPM. Ghising was latter forced to leave the Hills along with his men. He was humiliated & tormented by his own men.

2. Then came one of  dark chapter of Gorkha Janamukti Morcha.

Madan Tamang head of Akhil Bharatiya Gorka league in late 2009 suggested until a separate Gorkhaland is formed democracy should be restored & a separate administrative council should be formed to look into the matters. He even met the then Governor of Bengal M. K. Narayan.

And that was it. Bimal Gurung couldn’t see the power slipping from his hand. He revolted against him & pitched for continuation of  Darjeeling Gorkha hill council.

After a few days Madan Tamang was brutally murdered in broad day light with a Khurki by few armed men when he was preparing for a rally. FIR was launched against Gurung & his wife & the case is still going on. People in the hills knew who was behind it & who could have benefited from it.

3.  The sporadic nature of protests: A huge protest again erupted in 2012 like it has today. Just after new TMC Govt was sworn in. With Mamata Banerjee in power her eyes were set on the hills. She started a dialogue with Gurung & ultimately Darjeeling Gorkha hill council was dismantled & GTA came into existence from 2012.

Condition: Gurung would be made the president. Mamata knew that new in power he needs to focus on other issues. GTA won the election in 2012 & Mamata decided to give financial support to hills via GTA. But she was shrewed. She was keeping a close eye on working of GTA. And with frequent visits to hills & his strong personal bond with hill people TMC had started to gain power.

In the recent municipal election TMC won Mirik, a GTA stronghold. The first non hill party to win this municipality. She suddenly changed & shifted gears & tried to enforce her position & stamp her authority in the hills. Gurung again didn’t like it.

GTA was given crores for development but hardly 10% of that was spent on ‘development’. In these years Gurung used it to his own benefit & hoodwinked the people. Now again when GTA election is due in late 2017 the protest has erupted.

WB govt has launched money laundering case & fraud case against GTA. The case may be soon be handed over to ED. GJM’s ally BJP is even in a dilemma. Kailash Vijayavargiya the state BJP observer has clearly said that they are against the formation of separate Gorkhaland. Can he have said this without permission from Amit Shah or Narendra Modi on such a sensitive issue?

The protests will again cool down after Next GTA election. Mamata will stop with police investigation on the financial frauds committed by GTA & Gurung will again go back to enjoy the beautiful Darjeeling from his warm luxurious home with a back-channel settlement.

If it is a protest for separate state why there was no protest & rallies for these 5 years?

4. Now comes the final & the most important as an Indian Nationalist.

If ‘Gorkhaland’ formation does take place, a chunk of north Bengal including Darjeeling Siliguri & Kalimpong will be gone. These are the places of highest Hindu population ratio in Bengal.

The official minority population is now at present is 30%. Unofficially it is more than 35%. Any one aware of the current Indo-Bangladesh border situation will tell how easy it is to crossover. With the Assam govt tightening the borders the immigrants are now focused on Bengal with their dear MPs & MLAs such as Idris Ali & Ahmed Hassan (both has links with SIMI & Bangladeshi Jaamat).

Oh they are safe here. More than the native Bengalis. My fear is if Gorkhaland is separated & with porous Indo-Bangladesh border the minority population may rise as high 40 -45%.

Is Modi govt willing to take that risk? I don’t think so. My haunch is Narendra Modi will play it with a straight bat. Finally my dear Gorkha brothers we need you more than you need us. You can have your separate language, separate culture, separate festivals & administrative body. But let’s stay together. Let’s stay united.

With love.

Remembering Bankim Chandra and Vande Mataram

0

Just two words- Vande Mataram- by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, who has his 179th birth anniversary (June 26, 1838) this Monday, tells a lot about we the Indians. Vande Mataram epitomized India’s freedom struggle against the monstrous British Rule and ”every patriot,” as Acharya Kriplani was to write later: “Fom Khudiram Bose to Bhagat Singh to Rajguru died with Vande Mataram on their lips.”

Madan Lal Dhingra, inspired by Vande Mataram, shot dead Curzon Wyllie and embraced gallows. Veer Savarkar’s Vande Mataram vow led to him being arrested in England, brought to India, and sentenced to two life-imprisonment before being packed to Andamans.

Sister Nivedita and Bhikaji Cama differed in their own flags about India but didkeep Vande Mataram firmly in its centre.

All across the globe, from Lala Har Dayal’s Gadar Party whose many members greeted each other with the words; to mass of Indians in South Africa who welcomed G.K.Gokhale with this fervent cry, Vande Mataram galvanized millions of Indians at home and abroad for the liberation of the motherland.

It moved Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to say: “Bande Mataram literally means ‘I salute the motherland’. It is the nearest approach to India’s national anthem.”

Yet, Vande Matram was not destined to be India’s national anthem. All it got was to be the national song of the country, and that too just the first two paragraphs, as the honour went to Janaganamana of Rabindranath Tagore.

It might make no sense to the uninitiated readers as to why Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru thought Vande Mataram couldn’t lend itself to orchestral music or why even before an official decision was taken by the Constituent Assembly of India, Janaganamana was played as a national anthem in the UN General Assembly. Or why India’s first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad announced Janaganamana as national anthem on January 24, 1950 even before the Constituent Assembly could pass a resolution to this effect.

It might make more sense to readers if they relate the opposition to Vande Mataram by a section of Muslim leaders in today’s India,–on the grounds that it’s an idolatrous prayer–with the one of Muslim League in blood-soaked years of pre-independent India.

Vande Mataram, a part of Bankim Chandra’s celebrated novel Ananda Math, about the Sanyasi Revolt of the 18th century (1763-1800)–against the British East India Company who had just taken a foothold in India with the conquest of Bengal after the Battle of Plassey (1757)–was the battle-cry Congress had championed from the very early days of its inception in 1885..

The Vande Mataram song, which was written at least seven years before Ananda Math was penned in 1882, came into national consciousness due to events in the Barisal province of Bengal. On April 14, 1906, Indian National Congress was to meet at the venue and pledge against the partition of Bengal. A mammoth gathering burnt an effigy of Lord Curzon and rendered the air with the shrieks of Vande Mataram. The District Magistrate promptly put a ban on its singing but unmindful, a procession which had the likes of Surendranath Bannerjee, Sir Bipin Chandra Pal and Sri Aurobindo in the front, took to the streets. Police rained lathis and kicks on the peaceful and unarmed demonstrators.

The poem spread like a wildfire. Secret societies, like the one of Ananda Math, began springing all over the country. Lala Lajpat Rai started a journal called Vande Mataram. Subramaniam Bharati brought out the Tamil verse translation of the song. Vande Mataram even soaked the army in its spirit. Twenty-four young men of the Fourth Madras Coastal Defence Battery were sent to gallows and died singing Vande Mataram.

However, Muslim League opposed Vande Mataram from the very beginning. In its 1908 session, it was deemed sectarian. In 1923, Maulana Mohammed Ali, as the president of Congress, opposed it.

Congress, in conformity with its Muslim-appeasement stance, introduced Mohammad Iqbal’s Hindustan Hamaara. The Muslim leaders wanted Iqbal’s song to replace Vande Mataram. The All-India Muslim League passed resolutions condemning Vande Mataram. The Congress Working Committee in 1937 maimed the song Vande Mataram to just two paras. The Muslim League wasn’t satisfied still. Jinnah asked Nehru in 1938 to completely abandon Vande Mataram. To placate the Muslim League, the Congress decided to allow the singing of a song by Basheer Ahmad, Quran recital as well as a prayer in English in the assembly.

As for Janaaganamana, famous Indologist Dr. Koenraad Elst has this to say:

“Janaganamana itself is controversial because Tagore had allegedly written it in honour of the King of England, George V, the janaganamana adhinayak, master of the people’s minds, and the bharata bhagya vidhata, shaper of India’s destiny, mentioned in the opening line. There is a lot of circumstantial evidence for this, and there is no convincing alternative explanation for the said opening line. In his 1911, Delhi Durbar, George V had annulled the partition of Bengal, conceding a nationalist demand, and that could give this glorification of the king a nationalist twist.”

When a nation is founded on secular lines, implying that religion wouldn’t play a role in its governance, it’s a debatable if national interests or sentiments are decided on the whims of a community. France has put a ban on burqa (veil) in public places. Same is now the stance in Australia. Germany’s Chancellor Angelo Merkel has a similar view and parties in Britain have long called for ban on veils.

However in India, appeasement only ended up vivescating one-third of the undivided India.

Meanwhile, it has kept Bankim Chandra, arguably Bengal’s greatest literary figure, alive to this day. One of the first graduates of Calcutta University, Bankim Chandra  became a deputy collector in due course, like his father, Yadav Chandra Chattopadhyaya. He eventually became a deputy magistrate before his retirement in 1891. Three years later, he was dead.

Bankim Chandra was best summed up by Sri Aurobindo in these words: “And when posterity comes to crown with her praises the Makers of India, she will place her most splendid laurel not on the sweating temples of a place-hunting politician, nor on the narrow forehead of a noisy social reformer but on the serene brow of that gracious Bengali who never clamoured for place or power, but did his work in silence for love of his work, even as nature does, and, just because he had no aim but to give out the best that was in him, was able to create a language, a literature and a nation.”

India’s ‘Self-celebrated Intellectuals’: The Lutyens

0

A Terrorist called Sabzar Bhat was killed by our Armed Forces. I was expecting a sudden backlash by some of the elitist journalists, lawyers and all the watchdogs of human rights in India as they were called ‘celebrity’ journalists by Sudhir Chaudhary. Last time when Terrorist Burhan Wani was killed these Species had gone crazy shouting human rights violation so I thought this time too they will create such a situation. But no ladies and gentlemen our very own ‘self celebrated intellectuals’ surprised me by circulating a news that the terrorist Sabzar Bhat had chosen militancy due to failed love. It sounded stupid to dig such stuff and they publish them as headlines.

But thats ‘Lutyens’, for them Burhan was poor headmaster’s boy. Ishrat was sweet moonfaced girl and Afzal was innocent man. So no wonder these individuals will find Sabzar as onesided-misguided lover. I am really amazed what the hell is always wrong with these lutyens? They always take the opposite road the masses take just to sound intellectual but no one really calls them that. They attend all the literary fests, speak all the crap and try to paint the world with their brush as if they have monopoly over intelligence and truth. They take education from foreign universities, speak fluent English and fool all the people of India. They try to see India through the lenses of system and principles which they have studied at their universities. What they don’t get is, India is altogether a different country with different history and civilization and culture. These Lutyens have problem with everything that is Indian and then they give such bizzare reasons that make me wanna put my hand through my eye into the brain and whirl it around.

Once I read an article of a Lutyens journalist and I must say she needs a psychological treatment. In that article she calls our very own missile man Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam as ‘Bomb daddy’ and she goes on criticizing him. She even criticizes science for spreading radical Hindutva and Brahminism. Only a mentally challenged person can say that science is responsible for radical religious things. But then being typical Lutyens intellectual, she does not forget to mention the degree of Osama Bin Laden i.e. Engineering. And as Nehru is all god king of Lutyens, she ends her piece quoting his thoughts on science and technology as a salute to him and advising all the science guys to go the Chacha way. Then another one who caught my eye are that ‘extremist’ lutyens. Yes, I will call them ‘extremist’ because they go to any means to prove themselves right. They abuse Hindu religion, burn Gita, call others low IQ, insult armed forces, like an article that was featured in ‘the wire’ comparing Gen Rawat with Gen Dyer, they even support shouting of slogans supporting terrorists in Indian University Campuses and if countered they have this handy tool of ‘Freedom of Expression’ and ‘Freedom of Speech’  to attack anyone and everyone, who questions them.

Basically Lutyens hate to be questioned. Even one incident of lynching or riot in one state can make them believe that the whole country with 28 states and 7 union territories has gone intolerant. Speaking of this, yes ‘Tolerance’ is their ‘Brahmastra’. They use it when their horrible acts of abusing and criticizing India’s culture, history and civilization is questioned. They advice us to be ‘tolerant’. Their famous punching bags are all the institutions even remotely related to ‘Hindutva’ and ‘Hinduism’. No no counter please because they consider Right Wingers as Low IQ Desi people with no intelligence as them. They are horrible. It is even stupid and waste of time to counter or criticize them because again you will be labelled as ‘Bhakt’ or ‘Sanghi’ even if your grandfather did not have any affiliation to Sangh Parivar.

I feel these people don’t deserve to live in India and also on earth because its in their DNA to criticize the culture of whichever place they live in. Here’s a request dear ISRO: You are launching many satellites recently. Please take these Lutyens to their home planet and help in making India and the whole Earth a better place to live.

Clamping down on separatists

0

So, the messiahs of Aazadi, flag bearers of the right to pelt stones have once again exposed the amount of brutality & inhumanity they possess while they lynched an honest police personnel in Kashmir. What was the mistake of Mr. Ayub Pandit? His mistake was that he was honestly doing his work without falling to the sheer unemployed and under educated propagandists. His mistake was that he was providing security to the notorious terrorist who openly preaches war against India through hate filled sermons in the Kashmir valley. He brainwashes the locals, bulldozes the schools & colleges and place guns & stones in the hands of innocent children.

While this so-called political stakeholder of Kashmir talks about cessation from India but vividly enjoys the security cover, allowance & other benefits payed by the Indian Taxpayers. This travesty reminds me of the famous one liner delivered by Congress M.P. Shashi Tharoor in his famous oxford debate where he uttered and I quote,”We literally payed for our own oppression”. In the current context, we are literally paying for our own murder & instability. In India, sedition has always been a contentious law and many cartoonists, journalists, dissenters have been booked under the law. While I will not go into the merits of the charge slapped on these many people, one thing is for sure that one case where sedition should be and must be applied is in the current context where a crowd was instigated by someone and they killed the personnel who was merely doing his duty. This incitement was not against any private individual, it was against a public individual that represents the state and who is responsible for maintaining the law & order in a highly volatile zone. I don’t find any justification for the instigator to roam free after instigating such a horrendous violence against an individual.

The home ministry at the center must take serious cognizance of the matter so that such kind of brutality is not repeated in the valley. More importantly, the spoonful of terrorists masquerading as separatists must be booked under National Security Laws and should be imprisoned for life. Even if terrorists are killed by the armed forces, it will all go in vain if the ideology that incubates this sort of inhumane activity is allowed mobility in the society.

We, the Indian taxpayers, are not numb that we shall pay for the propaganda that seeks the dismembering of our own country. It is not about an ideology of left, right or centre but it is about We, The Nation. This nation is not the property of some politicians and intellectuals that they will allow this status-quo to continue. The status-quo has to change. The killing of soldiers and policemen in the valley should not become the “new normal”. Prime Minister should seriously consider banning the separatist groups and declaring it unlawful under the provisions of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
