When the independent institutions stains political colour and fall victim to lobby

0

The autonomous institutions in India such as CBI, RBI, Judiciary etc., should not become tools in the hands of politics of dynasty just to oppose the Government and that would progressively erode the very existence of the institutions is the loud truth today the judiciary may be experiencing.

Way back in January 12, 2018, the present chief justice of supreme court of India along with other three judges made a press meet in public asking for transparency and accountability from the then Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India Mr. Dipak Mishra who was the master roster. It was well applauded and appreciated by the party of the dynast and several neo-liberals, left wing agitators and self-appointed guardians of democracy and secularism in India.

When the issue of removal of CBI chief for his disgraceful conduct bringing disrepute to CBI was concerned, the select panel nominee from Supreme Court of India justice AK Sikri nominated by the Chief justice of India was questioned by the dynast because he stood high ground to maintain the integrity and reputation of CBI. Such impartial stand by AK Skiri did not favour the politics of the dynast and hence the dynast attributed motives to the stand taken by the judge.

Today the same lobby are hunting the present Supreme Court Judge as well with the same old dirty politics. The lobby has even gone to the extent of describing the Chief Justice of India as “master of roster has also become the master of collegium”.

According to them the former Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra has only acted as ‘master roster’ but the present Chief Justice who protested against Dipak Misra in public has gone one step further to become master collegium as well. It means he is taking entire authority on himself and not consulting with anyone in taking decisions.

It looks like the hunter is now being hunted. The beauty is that the same lobby that had applauded and appreciated the rebellion and tarnishing the image of India is now criticizing and denigrating those when they did not fit to their agenda, today. Today, when the Chief Justice is not doing what the lobby really wants, they have taken the same old weapon to attack him.

The real problem is not with the lobby or left wing agitators or self-appointed guardians of democracy and secularism but, the those who are supposed to be responsible for the reputation of the institutions for having fallen prey to these lobbies in the past, may be for political reasons were the one caused the real problem.

What they had initiated in the past is only continuing today as an extension and nothing new and nothing strange.

If the judges had not rebelled in public, if the former RBI Governor had not displayed his political colour in public and if the chief of CBI had not fought with his college like Kilkenny cat, the reputation of all these institutions would not have been dragged so badly like what is happening today.

The independent institutions must learn to resolve its differences within the confine of four walls and should not bring to the street. Further the independent institutions also should not appear to side some political parties to rebel against the government because the Government of the day is very tough, incorrupt and demand accountability.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi always focus on development of India, sab ka vikas and not politics or power. But on the contrary, the dynast is always thinking about the Chair of Prime Minister of India, his birth entitlement for PM post, how to develop his dynasty, how to expand his coterie of sycophants, how to keep India underdeveloped, how the Indians can be fragmented based on caste and religion etc.

Therefore however independent and autonomous several institutions may be, the government of the day has the right to demand result and accountability from all such institutions because government is only responsible to people and not those institutions.

Lessons to be learned from the present anecdote is that do not fall prey to the dirty politics of dynastic forces that may support you today but if you take moral high standard, the same dynastic force may ridicule and denigrate you.

By the time most of those institutions would have learned their lessons. The people of India must teach all those Tukde Tukde gangs a fitting lesson and must ensure the politics of dynasty never comeback to power.

Let the agenda of development and sab ka vikas initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi lead India to success in 2019 and beyond.

Remove portions of allopathic medicine from the curriculum of AYUSH to end cross pathy

0

The article by Dr Amritpal Sing under the title “Is Ayurveda loosing way to Modern Medicine” dated January 16, 2019 was quite painful to read. Our traditional healing practice is rapidly losing its relevance mostly due to the vaidyas who have studied the subject and settled in private practice.

The article clearly opens the viscera of AYUSH to explain the anatomy of the modern day vaidya and their behaviour. It is an open truth that, cross pathy by several AYUSH vaidyas in private practice has only destroyed the credibility of AYUSH and has earned the title to AYUSH called pseudoscience. The article of Dr Amritpal Singh has revealed another important dimension of AYUSH education. The BAMS students in most institutions show least interest to attend the classes of Ayurveda curriculum but on the contrary, show great interest to attend the classes in modern medicine. Most of them wants to end up as modern medicine practitioners instead of own subject. Cross pathy only attracts them and not AYUSH in real sense, the article reveals.

If we see the situation of Siddha system of healing practice in Tamil Nadu, cross pathy by several Siddha vaidyas in private practice openly and or secretly has destroyed the credibility of the system. The most disgusting fact is that some Siddha vaidya even justify cross pathy and have used every trick in the book to support quackery. However the state government has initiated proper steps to crackdown quackery and as a result cross pathy has significantly reduced in the state. However the nexus between chemists and some vaidya may still continue secretly in some remote villages as a new form of cross pathy.

The options to revive AYUSH does not lies just in allocating more funds for promoting AYUSH as initiated by Ministry of AYUSH, but the curriculum of AYUSH must be changed totally.

Basic science must be included in AYUSH curriculum and not modern medicine. The inclusion of modern medicine only unnecessarily tempts the vaidyas to move towards cross pathy and quackery. As a result of the above situation, both AYUSH as well as our health care delivery system suffers adversely. Most of the vaidyas who are engaged in cross pathy tends to display their knowledge in modern medicine predominantly hired from some peripheral learning from CIMS etc.

Modern medicine; the methods of diagnosis, details of drugs, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology etc., must be removed from the curriculum of AYUSH and the philosophical aspects of ancient traditional healing must be enriched. How the quality of the herbs must be evaluated, what are the modern technologies that can be used for preparing AYUSH recipes, what are the new ways of presenting the AYUSH products etc., must be included in the curriculum of AYUSH.

The importance of human faith, spirituality, human values, vaidya-patient relationship, knowing the human constitution through philosophy based Tridosha principle, how the taste and other obvious feelings of the patient can be integrated into the healing process etc., must be included and emphasised in the curriculum of AYUSH.

The AYUSH vaidyas must be oriented more with the philosophy, bio-moral science and human values so that the role of AYUSH for paramedical and mind healing can be fully achieved. The humanity of today need mind healing and eternal paramedical recipes which AYUSH alone can offer.

AYUSH vaidyas must be designated more as healers and experts of mind, wellness and paramedical services than as doctor. Once the philosophical contents are enriched and the details of allopathic medicines are removed and basic science is included, AYUSH will get due merit and recognition. Cross pathy by AYUSH vaidyas in private practice must be ended immediately.

Siddha system can be revived only if the cross pathy by several Siddha vaidyas in private practice is curbed. Hope our traditional, faith based healing practice will get due recognition and respect and the Ministry of AYUSH will separate AYUSH completely from allopathic system.

List of achievements of Narendra Modi led BJP Govt. in 4 years versus 10 years of UPA

0

If people of India compare the performance record of Narendra Modi led government’s 4 years vis-à-vis the long 10 years of UPA under the influence of the dynastic party, people may shock and surprise why several main stream media are observing a calculated silence in not reporting all the glorious achievements of the BJP to people of India.

Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister of India in the recent times to govern India free of corruption, scam and nepotism. He is the first Prime Minister of India to devote his full time in office for the welfare of India and not for playing party politics. He is the first Prime Minister of India who made every institution accountable to people of this country.

Here is the list of some of the achievements of Narendra Modi regime in the last 4 years in comparison with 10 long years of UPA.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xgfreoq6E4A

In 2014, Narendra Modi inherited the legacy from UPA 2 which was filled with allegations of various scams, policy paralysis, nepotism, and revenge and witch-hunt politics against Modi. Besides that, the reputation of India was all time low during UPA.

In 2014 there were 21, 572 villages were yet to be electrified and as a result of lack of power supply, those villages were lagging far behind. Narendra Modi after taking the office of Prime Minister of India ensured all those villages to be electrified. Today no single village is there in India without of power supply.  What UPA could not achieve in 10 years, Narendra Modi has achieved in 4 years.

UPA in its 10 years of scam filled regime could provide only 5.3 crore LPG connections to poor villagers whereas BJP in the last 4 years ensured 10 crore LPG connections to uplift millions of poor families from various health hazard, saved their cooking time, labour in collecting fire woods and lifted them from the status of poor and marginal.  Several lakhs of connections provided by Narendra Modi led BJP were free of cost.

UPA in its 10 long years achieved only 2,630 megawatt generation of solar power which Narendra Modi scaled up to 22,000 megawatt in just 4 years.

Entire 10 years of UPA regime, only 80,000 KM of road was made whereas Narendra Modi’s government focused intensely on infrastructure and achieved 4 lakh 9000 KM road built in 4 years.

Narendra Modi being born in a poor family in a village unlike the dynast, who is born with silver spoon in his mouth, recognized the importance of swaach bharat and proper sanitation to poor people.

Narendra Modi’s government built 9.7 crore toilets in 4 years as against 5.4 crore toilets that were built during the entire 10 years of UPA.

Entire 10 years of UPA saw the construction of houses for poor people to be 30 lakh whereas Narendra Modi in the last 4 years achieved 90 lakh houses being built for poor people.

As a personal commitment of providing cost effective supply of medicines to poor people under Jan Aushadhi program, Narendra Modi opened 1957 shops in the last 4 years whereas the record of UPA in 10 years was only 199 shops and out of which 99 shops did not function at all.

Before Narendra Modi took the office of Prime Minister of India, as per the employment registry, 4 crore 82 lakhs people were registered to have no employment but the number of people registered in employment registry as on 2018 is 4 crore 26 lakh with the reduction of 56 lakh. This clearly indicates the unemployment rate has come down during Narendra Modi’s government which was quite high in UPA period.

Narendra Modi has brought a structured reform in agricultural sector too.  To ensure the biotic rhizosphere ecosystem in the agricultural field, the urea supplied is desired to be coated with Neem as suggested by several scientific studies.  During the entire 10 years period of UPA, only 25% of the urea supplied to the farmers were Neem treated whereas PM Modi has ensured 100% supply of urea to the farmers are treated with Neem to ensure better crop and protection of the filed.

PM Modi has visited several countries to build ties with India. Manmohan Singh visited selectively USA and UK for 30 and 27 times respectively with the total expenditure of 27 crores whereas PM Modi’s foreign visit costs only 22 crore.

The list of achievements presented in the article is only a few and not the complete list of achievements. All the above achievements were made by the Modi government without any scam or kickbacks or special directives of a family as in the case of UPA.

India needs development, sab ka vikas and not politics of negativism, hatred or dynastic parties which are hungry to grab power to loot our nation. Hope people of India will recognize the tremendous achievements of PM Modi and hope they would re-elect him again in 2019 with massive mandate to develop India further.

Tamil Nadu also must be developed further to fulfill the dreams of MGR and Amma. People must recognise the hate politics of Dravidian dynastic party and surprisingly the DMK wants a Brahmin as Prime Minister of India.

The holy entry of PM Modi in TN is must for the betterment of the state and if the rule of the dynasty returns back, TN may get further pushed back to the period of hate politics, anti- Hindu, anti-God and anti-Brahmin rhetoric and not development or progress of the state.

Tamil Nadu needs the ethos propagated by MGR and Amma along with the vision and good governance of Narendra Modi.

Why not Hindi?

0

Very recently I have come across a post forwarded on Facebook by one of my friends with a bold title saying Stop Imposing Hindi. Mind you this friend of mine hails from Tamil Nadu, where Hindi is not a compulsory language in school. He was very adamant about the movement, which has been started since way back to not make Hindi compulsory for schools and colleges and he was not backing down now.

To quickly understand what my friend was saying, I found the right articles with respect to that particular subject and found that what my friend was saying was indeed true. There has been stiff resistance to include Hindi as a compulsory language in school and college curriculum citing amongst other things the inability of the child to decide what he wants to learn, that regional languages should be given importance and other far fetched thoughts!

There was also a lot cry raised over the HRD’s directive to schools and colleges to make Hindi compulsory which was later found to be a fake news.

For all these arguments one needs to understand the need for a common National language to unite rather than blame the Central government for what it is supposed to do. India is one of the most vibrant cultures with varied linguistic diaspora. Yes there is internet and yes there is now the social media which connects people but the ideas get lost if the medium of communication is patchy.

I hail from Telangana and luckily for me Hindi was my second language in school. I can tell you how easy it was for me to travel across India and use a medium of language well understood by most and make my travel that much more happier. And there is another aspect that also needs to be taken into consideration, is there a harm to the child by learning another language?

Believe me the child will thank you for making him fluent in a language other than his own mother tongue. And if the so called propaganda machinery of these narratives can answer the one question I asked with a Yes, then please go ahead and protest the inclusion of Hindi in the curriculum.

There are lots of stereotypes played in Politics and media which might paint it as us vs them. North Indians vs South Indians. Telangana vs AP. Tamilnadu vs Karnataka. And lots of other even hurtful stereotypes portrayed about North Indians in South India and South Indians in North India. If at all there is one thing that we should learn from our history it is that this was the same technique used, in subjugating and ruling us, by the British.

Do we once again fall into this trap and get divided or do we say enough and believe that we all are Indians and the division is only in the eyes of those liberals who try to influence us?

Roads: From the horse dung on Britain streets, to Progressive India

0

London under 9 feet of manure

In the 1800’s the cities around the world were growing at a rapid pace and the transportation system was fully depended on roads for the movement of goods and people. The only efficient means to make the transportation mobile were the mighty horses.

By late 1890’s, on any given day; there would be about 50,000 – 55,000 horses on the streets of London, while in bigger cities like New York it would be 100,000 horses. This created a huge problem in the cities with 0.8 to 1 million KG of dung per day and potholes full of urine.

Soon the panic might have been triggered and as in the mid 1890’s the Times Newspaper heading read,

“In 50 years, every street in London will be buried under 9 feet of manure.”

With the arrival of commercial motorised vehicles, all the problems disappeared by early 1910’s.

Zero-Corruption to Corruption:

After India’s Independence, there was no major investment in the core Infrastructure development like roads. The newly formed government by Mr. Nehru, failed to recognise the need of good road network and relied on the colonial era roads leading only to major Sea Ports and Business Centres; which was focused to transport goods and loots outside India and not for reach in the remote villages.

Nehru had poor insight of the economic planning. This was evident from the fact that when JRD Tata supported a nationalist party as an opposition to replace the communist party for a free economy and healthy development – Nehru questioned JRD’s decision. Nehru even went on to say; “Never talk to me about the word profit, it is a dirty word”.

When Naval Hormusji Tata wanted to develop South Mumbai and attempted to contest elections in 1971 made Indra Gandhi very furious.

When JRD started doing business, there was hardly any black money and corruption, but it slowly started to enter the system due to lack of governance and no government control on the economy.

The short-lived Shining India:

During 1999 – 2004, the Infrastructure investment got a big boost, with project like “Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojna”, “National Highways Development Project” & “Golden Quadrilateral” – thanks to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee & his team.

Sadly, due to the coalition gov & re-election in the mid-term, most of the projects were stalled or delayed until the Shree Atal Vajpayee government fell in 2004, after which most of the infrastructure projects failed to materialise, while few running at snail pace, when the average road built per day reached the worst i.e. 6 – 9 KM / day between 2009 – 2014.

Towards Corruption Free Development:

As per the Global Competitiveness Report by WEF, India struggled to climb in the Quality of Road ranking but post 2014 the ranking steeply rose to 51-55 range & the rating broke the 4.0 level.

Though the ranking in 2006-2007 was good due the earlier investment; the rating was very poor, indicating that the quality of roads being built was not as per standard & it degraded until 2014.

Development of quality roads in India, clearly depicting a rise after BJP took over the government

When NDA lead by Shree Narendra Modi, formed the government at the centre in majority – under the leadership of Nitin Gadkari, an immediate approval was granted to the much-needed strategic road project – that was ignored since independence i.e. construction of 1800-km of highway along the China border in Arunachal; at an estimated cost of over ₹40,000 crore.

In 2015, the central government launched Bharatmala Pariyojana, to build 83,677 km of new roads at an estimated cost of ₹5.35 lakh crore (US$74 billion).

Until March 2018, 10,000 km of highways was already completed. The road construction had reached 27 km/day (3 times higher than pre-2014). By Dec 2019, 34,000 km of new road is expected to be completed.

Bogibeel Bridge in Assam over the Brahmaputra river is a perfect example to explain the cycle from start to completion. The Bridge was sanctioned in 1997-98 but the construction was inaugurated only in 2002 by Late Prime Minister Vajpayee to be completed by 2008.

The actual work started in 2011 i.e. 4 years after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh granted it a national project status. By 2014 the cost escalated to ₹4,996 crore (US$700 million) from the original ₹1,767 crore (US$250 million).

To avoid further delay, Nitin Gadkari approved additional ₹964 crore. The project was completed on a fast track on 2nd Dec 2018 & inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on 25th Dec 2018 on the birth anniversary of Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The Bridge not only shortens the time to travel by Rail (lower deck) & Road (upper deck) but also strong enough for the movement of army tanks & even landing a fighter jets on the upper deck. This gives a big boost to the India’s security at the border with China.

Slowly, we will bid goodbye to ordinary road projects – Anil Manibhai Naik, group chairman, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) – DNA 14 Jan 2019

Is DMK spoilsport or delicious dish for congress?

The statement of DMK chief proposing the name of Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister Face of united opposition parties was a blunder or a calculated move is difficult answer in one line. Considering the political maturity of late Karunanidhi, Stalin is no way near to the shadow of Karunanidhi with reference to leadership quality or understanding of politics and therefore the proposal made by Stalin cannot be called as a calculated move. It is possible that a dynast is bound to support another dynast and that is how people perceive the gesture of DMK chief. As a result of the immature utterance of DMK chief, the congress party has been left as an orphan by BSP and SP in UP.

Considering the largest number of parliamentary constituencies in UP, the exclusion of congress from BSP-SP alliance in UP is a huge set back to congress to bargain for more seats with various other regional parties especially DMK. In a way DMK has clipped the wings of congress before even the wings grow. Interestingly DMK has positioned itself well on both sides of the bread. If congress fairs decently, DMK can take the credit for proposing the name of the dynast for PM face and if the opposition fairs well, once again the DMK can take the credit that through unnecessary and untimely hype to Raghul Gandhi, DMK only has mutilated congress therefore DMK deserve special appreciation.

It looks like the DMK chief has played the game of Dridarastra to Bhima. After Mahabharat war, the Pandavas came to Hastinapur to pay their respect to King Dridarastra and the five brothers one after the other went to the king to pay their obeisance. But Dridarastra was so revengeful towards Bhima for killing his favourite son Duryodhana and therefore Dridarastra wants to hug Bhima to crush him to death. Knowing this intent of Dridarastra, Lord Krishna presented an iron statue of Bhima first to calm the anger of Dridarastra and only then Bhima went and took his blessings.

The over enthusiasm of DMK chief in projecting Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister face of united opposition parties in fact has crushed the ambition and desire of Rahul Gandhi. This in fact has clipped the wings of Raghul Gandhi at nestling stage itself which might have been the intention of DMK chief, who knows.

Otherwise, the DMK chief must offer all parliamentary seats in Tamil Nadu to congress and thereby DMK can prove to the nation and other regional parties that DMK always walks the talk.

Another interesting point also we must decode from such gesture of Stalin. Rahul Gandhi is extensively travelling in various parts of North India to prove his Brahmin DNA, Hindu origin and Shiva Bhakti. Will Raghul Gandhi prove his Brahmin DNA to the people of Tamil Nadu also? How would the chief of DMK, a born Anti Brahmin, Anti- Hindu justify his support to Raghul Gandhi who is aggressively tracing his Brahmin identity, for the post of Prime Minister of India? Hope people of Tamil Nadu will awake to the new reality and vote out Dravidian politics and support the agenda of development and sab ka vikas initiated by the PM Modi.

Hey dynast, don’t damage the reputation of judiciary

Decision of the select panel to remove CBI Chief was in fact welcomed by everyone in India but it was politicized by the party of the dynast. The disrespect and bad reputation the CBI chief has earned for the CBI deserves his removal and not forgiveness and advice.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the most upright, decisive and honest Prime Minister of India took a firm decision and in right spirit and understanding, the justice who represented the panel supported. But the politician of the dynast opposed it because the dynast wants to make some politics.

Interestingly the justice AK Sikri was nominated by the Chief Justice of India who along with other two judges rebelled against the then Chief Justice alleging that the then Chief Justice appears to have compromised the independence of judiciary with the government.

When the judges rebelled and brought national shame to judiciary, the political party of the dynast applauded the gesture of the judges without bothering about the respect and dignity of India or the judiciary because the dynast somehow want power even if he can conquer power by destroying or fragmenting India, it is fine for the dynast.

Today the same ‘super-reformer’ dynast is indirectly questing the integrity of AK Sikri as well the Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi who nominated AK Sikri. It is so unfortunate that India has to live and witness such third rate politics being played by an age old political party. Hope this incident will open the inner eyes of all the independent institutions in India and will recognise the dangerous effects of dynastic politics to India. The most disgusting allegation is that AK Sikri supported the removal of CBI chief because he was nominated by the central government for London based Common Wealth Secretariat Arbitral Tribunal (CSAT) which justice Sikri has turned down long ago.

It is quite natural that wherever any suitable opportunities are available, the government is supposed to nominate someone from the department which the nominee can turn down.  Because of such nomination, the person concerned would breach his integrity and side the government is a wild guess. It means the party of the dynast is reducing every official in the government department to be selfish, are after money and position and can sell their dignity and integrity if any position is offered.

Wise Indians should understand how dangerous politics, the party of the dynasty is playing. For the dynast, the entire India is his family property. In his party it may be true that all the sycophants are sticking there only due power and money and nothing else.  But India is not like that. Indians should not allow the dynastic politics to reduce every independent institution to be a playground for the dynast to play some dirty, third rate politics.

In all matured and statesmanship sense, the justice who was a member of select panel is expected to support the Prime Minister of India and not the politician of the opposition party, as the party doesn’t even enjoy the status of opposition party in parliament.

It is not Narendra Modi, but the Prime Minister of India is in the helm of affairs and therefore the highest office of Prime Minster of India must be respected and supported.

What the congress party reflects in public is its own culture and tradition that it was using every independent institution to dance to its tune starting from the days of the first dynast of the party – Indira Gandhi.

For the right or wrong reason, BSP and SP have realized the danger of congress and that is why they have not given any toe hold space for congress in their alliance. Hope Indians also would vote out the congress and other dynastic political parties that are desperate to capture power to loot our nation.

Indians must support the agenda of development, sab ka vikas and unification of our nation with the great culture of Hinduism and not the dynast to develop own dynasty and club of sycophancy.
