The battle is on; let us play our part

0

While growing up with the stories of the invaders upon invaders that is staple in the history books in India, I would often ask with curiosity as to how a small band of invaders were able to overcome stiff local resistance and prevail. There were many answers forthcoming but the most frequent and the one that stick with me to this day was the argument about participation. I would often hear that when the wars were on, the warriors were fighting but the rest of the population was never involved. In the native language of mine in eastern Uttar Pradesh which resemble Bhojpuri, the refrain was that “agar sab log ek ek dhela mare hote ta videshi bhaag jaate”. It roughly translates that if everyone had picked up a boulder and hurled it at the invaders, the attackers would have fled. It made sense because the natives would have overwhelmed the invaders because of their sheer numbers.

I’m reminded of this as India embarks on another massive democratic exercise to elect a new parliament. India can name very many warriors who fought valiantly before. Most of us know about the valor of Rana Pratap, Guru Govind Singh, Shivaji and many others despite the secularist establishment effort post-Independence to erase the memory of the glorious fight the Indian people fought over a thousand years to preserve and protect the land and culture of its people.

The earlier wars were fought by soldiers with spears and swords. Thankfully, the times are different now and the new weapon of this war are information and persuasion. Remember, no warrior however brave and brilliant can win a war. It needs an army to win a war. Fortunately for India, we have a popular and incorruptible leader in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The army representing the ethos of India is Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP). It is dynamic and resourceful party. It is ably led by an equally talented warrior in President Amit Shah. They cannot win it for us unless we are an active participant and not just bystanders. To defeat the enemy, the equivalent of a “dhela” is your vote.

Many of us are old enough to remember the 2004 election calamity when despite all the goodwill and good work of the Atal ji government, it was defeated. We know how the next terrible ten years pushed India back to brink into a morass of corruption, secession, terrorism, riots, inflation and a general sense of despondency over the future of the country. I distinctly remember how it was fashionable in the American media to mention India and China is the same breath then. In fact, they had a word for it called ‘Chindia’ for the growth engine of the world.

It is only now in the last five years of the Modi government that India has beaten China in terms of GDP growth and other objective economic measures. With the firm and resolute response to Doklam standoff with China, the bold military attacks inside Pakistan, the ASAT test and firm handling of the terror and corrupt ecosystem inside India, we are beginning to hear again China and India mentioned in the same sentence. Make no mistake, I’m not equating India’s capability with China. China is still far ahead but we have begun to narrow the gap and we must because our survival depends on it. China has a hegemonic and expansionist government that has picked quarrels with all its neighbors and is not interested in coexistence but is hellbent on domination of others.

It is convenient to watch the opinion polls and coverage on TV and see who is up or who is down. It eerily resembles the cricket matches that entertain us. My purpose for picking up the war analogy here is deliberate. BJP president mentioned it in his address in January the 3rd battle of Panipat. This election is indeed the 4th battle of Panipat. All the gains made in the last five years would not take long to evaporate and reverse if we lose this battle.

I have also encountered some people who feel that the whole election exercise is so enormous that their contribution would be too insignificant to make a difference. I would say, remember the immortal words from Lord Krishna to Arjun on the battlefields of Mahabharata in Bhagwat Gita.

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन
You have a right to perform your prescribed duty and never be attached to the result of the action.

Let us resolve to do whatever we can. We can proudly tell the generations to come that yes, I was there and I did my part. Can you convince a neighbor, can you pick up an elderly person on your way to voting booth, can you fact check and expose the fake news proliferating in cyberspace, can you think of other innovative ideas to move the needle? All of us have diverse talents and ability to contribute, let us all do our part. Let us not be passive spectators in this Dharma Yuddh (battle). I know some of us have grievance about one thing that they love and was not accomplished in the last five years.

Let us focus on what has been achieved and what yet remains to be done. Five years are a mere blip on the civilizational battle we are fighting to restore India to its rightful place. Let us not make the mistake of making perfect the enemy of the good. Let us work unitedly to uproot the looney left and jihad apologists from our sacred land. Let us all pick up a ‘Dhela’ and hurl it at the powerful enemy of corruption, terrorism, separatism, casteism, jihadism and communism.

Why Rahul can never become PM

0

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has made a sustained and aggressive bid to become PM. In fact, many months before the election, he declared himself the PM candidate. Sadly for him, his alliance partners stoutly refused to accept him as their PM. Other than Stalin and Deve Gowda, none of the others seemed interested to form a grand alliance under his leadership. Mayawati and Akhilesh, in fact, ignored the Congress and formed their own alliance.

Now that the first phase of elections has begun, political temperatures are soaring. Rahul tried to set it ablaze by making a so-called game-changer announcement of 72,000 per year sop to BPL families. But soon it became apparent that not many people were taken in by this. This was not helped by Rahul’s own bloopers in his speeches. Even well-known anti-Modi writers like Swaminathan Aiyar have dismissed this scheme as non-workable.

On the other hand, after Balakot, the ASAT launch announcement by Modi continues to make him more and more popular. Survey after survey shows him with a popularity rating of more than half the electorate. Polls have clearly indicated that the NDA will get a majority on its own comfortably. Is there any chance though for Rahul Gandhi to do something. Can he continue his aggressive attacks on the PM and hope to dent his image? Can any more grandiose announcements from him help turn the tide in his favour?

An analysis of the present situation paints a very stark picture for the Congress President. There is no chance, absolutely no chance for Rahul Gandhi to be PM. Here’s why:

What is likely to happen?

It seems clear that the advantage is with Modi and the BJP. Rahul failed miserably in making alliances in UP and  Bengal and struggled to build up a front in Bihar. Amit Shah, on the other hand, went out of his way to reach out to the allies and sewed up deft alliances in Maharashtra, Bihar, and Tamil Nadu. In spite of the arithmetical strengths of the SP-BSP alliance in UP, the BJP seems to be on a strong wicket.

With the NDA projected to win, it won’t be surprising if the BJP gets a majority on its own like last time. Which is why PM Modi has confidently predicted 300 seats. When it is clear that only BJP has a chance to win, it can swing undecided voters in their direction. Knowing Modi and Shah, they would have some more googlies ready to flummox Rahul & Co. This clearly indicates that it is curtains for Rahul’s dreams of becoming PM.

What if things go wrong for BJP?

Assuming a worst case scenario for the BJP, let’s see if Rahul can make it. Let’s assume Rahul’s incessant attacks on Modi and his sops results in BJP losing ground from now till the election is over. The likely scenario then will be that the BJP may come down to 200 seats and the NDA 240. Even in this scenario, Modi has nothing to worry about. KCR and Jagan Reddy between them are likely to get 28-34 seats in AP & Telangana. They would have no qualms supporting Modi, of course after demanding their pound of flesh. So, even in this scenario, Rahul’s chances are extremely bleak.

Let’s assume the worst of the worst scenarios. NDA which is predicted to cross 270 falls to 200. Does Rahul have a chance? No!! The simple reason is with 70 seats short, the likes of Maya and Mamta will come to play. They may agree to support someone other than Modi as PM, maybe Gadkari or Rajnath with Maya as Dy PM. Alternately Maya may be PM with BJP’s outside support is their seat count falls badly. One thing is clear, BJP will not allow Rahul to be PM, they would prefer to make adjustments with others.

It seems very clear that the Congress President has absolutely no chance of becoming PM in any scenario. Having lost the opportunity in 2019, it is highly unlikely he can try again in 2024. It seems to be curtains for Rahul’s PM ambitions. The only way he can be PM is a repeat of 2004 with Congress getting more seats than BJP. But that in the present scenario this can be completed ruled out.

So, we can conclude that Mr. Rahul Gandhi’s chances of becoming PM are zilch. He had an opportunity to be a statesman and become the leader of a united alliance. He had a chance of becoming a leader respected by the people taking on the BJP on issues of national importance. He frittered all his chances away with his arrogance in treating allies and his mindless personal attacks on the PM. He has himself to blame for missing out on a chance to reclaim what his family thinks is their birthright.

Could NOTA be the fools’ prank this April?

0

As we enter the month of April, we are cautious about the prank monsters all around us. It begins with the day of jokes and pranks, and an innocent little trick played on someone never harmed anybody else! Interestingly though, during school days, some children assumed all of April to be an opportunity to make people a fool and the pranking would often go on for the entire month.

While every April is innocuous, this one is slightly different. This one has a national Indian election coming up! While it is one thing for somebody else to fool us, what could only be worse is that we fool our ownselves. And the elections provide us a device to do exactly that – it is called NOTA!

NOTA, or None of The Above, is an option given by the Election Commission to voters as an alternative to choose if one doesn’t like any candidate in their constituency. On the face of it, it is a great tool to express our dissent towards all the candidates from our area and tell them that we don’t want any of them. But, what really happens when you choose NOTA?

Let us understand this by a hypothetical scenario. Imagine a constituency where there are only 2 candidates – A and B. Let us say 1,00,000 vote in this constituency out of which 99,999 choose NOTA. Only 1 voter chooses candidate A. What happens now? Ideally since 99.999% people don’t like either candidate, one would like to believe that the election would be scrapped and a new one would be held, right? Wrong! What will happen is that candidate A will win!

So, what about 99.999% votes who voted for NOTA? Well, they expressed their dissent! But, what about their choice? IT DOESN’T MATTER! By voting NOTA in the above scenario, what 99% people have done is making a choice to not make a choice, thus leaving the final choice in the hands of the single voter who chose candidate A. Thus, for all practical reasons, voting NOTA is very similar to not voting at all as it does not give you the right to reject. The only thing a NOTA voter can derive satisfaction out of is going to the booth and getting her finger inked. Thus, your power to elect a candidate has been effectively transferred to someone who will choose a candidate. Thus, by voting for NOTA, you can never choose a government or a prime minister of your liking!

At the same time, NOTA can have further unintended consequences. If we look at the state elections in 5 major states – MP, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Gujarat and Bihar, it is possible that a swing of 7 to 30 seats could have happened if the NOTA voters had voted for a candidate of their preference in place of opting for a practical “Not Voting”. This could mean that 3 state government could possibly have been altogether different!

For instance, in the state of MP, there was 0.1% difference in vote share of Congress and BJP while 1.5% votes went to NOTA. Had the people who voted for NOTA voted for a party of their choice, it could mean a possible swing in 22 seats in a state where BJP lost by a meagre 5 seats to Congress. Similarly, in Gujarat, almost 30 seats were decided by a winning margin less than votes secured by NOTA. Had the people who voted NOTA opted for Congress, it would have been a debacle for BJP and a total change in government.

Governments in multiple states could have been different had people voted for someone instead of NOTA

The only possible purpose that NOTA could serve is expressing your dissent – something which can be done much more effectively on social media these days on different politically active family and friends Whatsapp groups, or on Twitter. Elections are not about expressing dissent, but about choosing a government of your choice. Often, one may not find any government to be perfect, but then that situation calls for choosing the best option we have. It is better to choose the better of the options than to not choose at all and throw our power away to express dissent which is not practically valued at all!

If you end up voting NOTA and then feel upset of not getting a government of your choice, well you have no right to complain. For it is nobody else but you yourself who decided to throw your choice out of the window by voting for nobody at all. It will be nobody else who pranked you this April, but you yourself! The election season in April has just begun, so beware…

TRS MP candidate wants ONLY dynasties in politics

0

It is well known that Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) is a “family” party with K. Chandrashekar Rao being the CM of Telangana, his son K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) calling the shots in TRS, his daughter Kavita being the lone woman MP from TRS in Lok Sabha. His nephew T. Harish Rao was also very heavily involved in TRS activities though he seems to have fallen out of favor with KCR-KTR recently.

Now another “leader” looks to have emerged in keeping up the tradition of TRS. The following video is making waves in Telugu social media. This is from a very recent interview of TRS candidate for the prestigious Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat. The candidate Talasani Saikiran Yadav, son of TRS minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, made some very sensational statements about dynasty in politics. He says that “just like a doctor’s son becomes doctor, a pan-dabba owner’s son follows his father’s footsteps and owns a pan-dabba, similarly a politician’s son should become a politician”. He goes on to assure the kind people of Telangana that his son will become ONLY a politician.

It looks like the TRS leaders do not believe in the economic upward movement of people and wants them to be stuck doing what their parents have been doing. While there is a Government which is working hard to move more and more people out of poverty into middle class, we seem to have a State Government which is bent on keeping status quo.

This is not the first time the young “leader” or his family has been caught on the wrong foot. There is a case registered against this guy for assaulting another person back in 2015[1]. His dad’s brother was booked for running selling liquor in a bar[2] .

Additionally, he was accused, by a sitting MP from Araku [Kothapalli Geetha], of kidnapping her husband in a land grabbing case. The MP’s husband gave a statement to the police that Talasani Sai Kiran forced him to sign papers and took over the land worth crores[3]. This guy said in a recent interview that if his family gets into land grabbing then there won’t be any houses left in Hyderabad. Scary to think TRS wants to send such a “dignified, humility personified” person as its MP from Secunderabad.

What is the alternative?

0

The world’s largest democracy itself gives you a sense of authority but it’s not the only thing that comes along, what also comes along are hypocrite politics, prosperous campaigns, TRP boosting rumors and a confused voter. Being a first-time voter, choice is not easy, it would have been a different scenario in case of state elections but this is the biggest election decide the fate of the country. 2019 Lok-Sabha elections are here and the battle has begun to manipulate the world’s 2nd largest democratic population.

It is stupefying to see things like accusations, fallacies, paid media and racism being used in a competition to serve the country. A highly rational inspection must be done by each and every voter in India as to determine and decide the glorious future ahead and inspecting the condition doesn’t mean to watch debates on TV nor does it mean to get into nonsense arguments with one track minds. It is the demand of present time that one has to rise above the personal preferences and vote for the one who assures the integrity of this nation.

Now the question that lies ahead is “Who is he? Whom should we vote for?” and the innocent answer is “It’s my choice.” The biggest name we hear today is PM Shri Narendra Modi. The foreign visits, clean India, make in India, Digital India, start up India, demonetization, surgical strike, air strike and numerous steps/schemes have become the highlights of his 5-year tenure as a PM. But are they enough to vote for him again and Bhartiya Janata Party or NDA? It is true that his foreign visits have uplifted the impression of India in the world and retaliating Pakistan with fierce strikes is something that UPA government failed to deliver. The situation seems favorable for him from this perspective but when you look at the problems of common people they have a lot of catching up to do.

Taking a U-turn on the objective of Demonetization’s being cashless society from recovering black money itself demonstrates that it was a desperate attempt to lure people into believing that they made the right choice by electing them. The ones oppressed about fall of rupee when in opposition let it fall beyond expectations when in power. Various schemes have been launched by NDA just like every government does and they failed to implement those schemes on ground level as like every government. If these things make BJP or NDA not worthy of your vote then “who deserves it?” is still the question unanswered. It is a no brainer that if you choose the 2nd largest party today i.e. the Indian National Congress or UPA with high probability that this nation will be led by Rahul Gandhi. Explaining why he is not worth deserving to the post of PM is preposterous.

The congress is lacking at so many places that it is difficult for them to fill the holes and hence they have reached to a new low in politics when it comes to be a sincere, serious opposition. With which the question remains “Who deserves the vote?” Should we go for the regional parties? Sure if you think that they have the conviction to guide your constituency to new heights then go for it.

But

It is also very important to keep in mind that this loksabha elections will decide the leaders who’ll lead the country not only the constituency and a coalition government has failed numerous times due to their self- centered, selfish approach. And today majority of regional parties are family centric doing worst politics of power by dividing the society on the basis of caste.

The only option left is pressing the NOTA button. The main aim of elections is to elect somebody; the idea of NOTA is quiet against the basic objective. Suppose that NOTA receives majority of votes even then what you’ll do is stretch the long process by forcing re- elections. The only thing you can do is go for the best candidate among all which you think deserves your vote.

As the current scenario suggest PM Narendra Modi is the person majority of Indians look up to, though not perfect. The question remains “If not Modi, then Who?” “What is the Alternative?”.

When media cries ‘Wolf’!

“My prejudices are fine, but your prejudice is just plain prejudice!” – Well, that’s the new pot calling the kettle black!

Over the past few weeks I have been reading a lot about the negative effects of social media, the spread of fake news, cyber bullying and the heightening narcissism that the medium is inducing. Much of what is being said and written about the social media and how bad it is, is not totally out of place, just that it has been blown out of proportion.

There is a lot for the human race to take the blame for all the negativity that has been spread across the world, in all spheres and why single out Social Media alone?

I have been a strong advocate for professionalism and have felt that the ‘Cult of the Amateur’ in today’s internet world is killing our culture (line borrowed from Andrew Keen’s book of the same name). Read more here: Unbridled growth of social media – the vengeance of the amateur. It is no secret that the social media breeds amateurs masquerading as news providers peddling unverified happenings and in no time the same spreads like wildfire and what they call ‘viral’ is just that. An unabashed spreading of a deadly virus.

But who is to blame?

What are the professionals doing?

Why are they feeling threatened?

Why is this new advertisement screaming?

“If we don’t have the facts, we don’t print the news.”

Well, is it GUILT?

India’s Leading Newspapers” recently came together to proclaim (through full page advertisements) that ‘if a story doesn’t check out for social media it can always be deleted”. While they (the print media) take time, verify all information before they call it news. Well, they call it “News that’s backed by fact” – Is it still a fact when it is “cropped” to suit their narrative?

What about ‘favourable news’ peddled by political parties through the print media, when called out – what do they do? Just publish an apology of an apology in a nondescript gutter space corner of the newspaper and get away with it? And what about all those ‘actual news’ that the mainstream media (read the leading newspapers of India) conveniently ignore to publish, as it does not fit their agenda?

I reiterate News is sacrosanct! The people at the helm of affairs need to bring back the credibility to the profession. Objective journalism is dying in this country, and crying hoarse that “print is proof” is doing no good. For it is the media that created the Frankenstein called social media, and now crying victim is futile!

Why Modi is required to win 2019

0

These days India, world’s largest democracy, is going through election, a process of democracy that is called “Aam Chunav” People are excited to vote and democratic parties are excited to get vote based on different parameters set by their self to come in Power.

However Modi is the first choice for Prime Minister.

We have BJP in power, Narendra Modi is the PM who lead the government for five years, and he has done tremendous work to make India proud and developed. Now his term is about to end and as per process there is a new election.

Now Questions are,

  1. Who will be PM in 2019?
  2. Why Modi is required?
  3. What has Modi done in five years?
  4. Who deserves to be the PM?

These are questions which are being circulated in voters’ mind.

There are many parties fighting this election. Different alliance have been made to come in power with different Intention.

On one side Modi is there for country and on the other side there are Congress, TMC, RJD, SP, BSP, DMK, TDP etc alliance called Mahamilawat (Mahagathbandhan) to fight against BJP.

But question is what is intention of opposition parties? Why have they formed alliance even being different on ideological views?

Actually they are doing a politics of survival to be in power and loot the country which they have done since long.

In a democracy like India people are supreme who will give the mandate to the party to come in power.

Now question is why Modi is required:

Simple answer is thw work he has done for the country, living for the country, working for the country without taking a leave. Now world is seeing India from different view and different aspect.

He is coming from a party and he is the Person of thought “Nation First”. Here are some of his policies that changed the life of common man.

  • Make in India
  • OROP
  • Pradhan Mantri Krishi Ssinchai and Fasal Bima Yojna
  • DDU gram jyoti Yojna
  • APY
  • NPS
  • Income Declaration scheme
  • Skill development scheme
  • PM Ujjwala scheme
  • Digital India Scheme
  • Sankalp se siddhi
  • PM jeevan jyoti Bima yojna+ suraksha Bima scheme
  • PM Mudra scheme
  • PM jandhan scheme
  • PAHAL
  • Udaan
  • Indradhanush
  • Aayusman Bharat Yojna
  • PM Kisan samman Nidhi
  • Solar Charkha Mission
  • Anti Narcotics scheme
  • Green Revolution-Krishonnati Yojana
  • National Bamboo Mission
  • Khelo India School Games
  • HRIDAY – Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana
  • Sukanya Samridhi Yojana (Girl Child Prosperity Scheme) etc.

These are the list of schemes which implemented by Modi Govt for upliftment of the people of country. He is working hard and on the other side there is only ambition to get power, to loot and corruption.

They have made a Thugbandhan. People should know about these leaders which are family owned Pvt Ltd. These all are corrupts and convicted/involved in corruption.

And what about the Vision, they have only thought of getting Votebank and come in Power for politics of survival to do corruption, they have made their Manifestoes for next five years but these all are for Vote bank and cheap politics.

Starting from Congress – Congress Manifesto is talking about removing, making changes in AFSPA, against 370 35 A. Here its Explained rightly The bjp manifesto hits the right chord on Kashmir even as the muftis and Abdullahs sing a different and dangerous tune.

BJP Manifesto looks like a Vision for future where as Congress manifesto is for Votebank and cheap politics.

Here is the differences between congress and BJP manifesto 2019

The simple answer for  Who deserve to be the PM? Is Narendra Modi as what are the situation came after Pulwama, noone in the current scenario from opposition parties will be able to manage. Modi talks to people through different medium and understand the pain. Modi has a political will to act against and whatever is required. The action taken by Indian government has kept isolated Pakistan that’s the strategy and action requires to be continued.

Also, we have seen how world has changed their perspective for India. Modi is successful in keeping morale high of armed forces.

Opposition is only questioning own institution, for their own agenda and propaganda.

People have their own choice to Vote whoever they want, but for sure Narendra Modi is first Choice and going to win Election 2019 and will be PM again.

CPI(M)’s Manifesto takes a step back; literally

0

Right off the bat, the Communist Party of India’s (Marxist) manifesto opens up with an array of unproven allegations and continues as a minority rights commission report. Promising to return to the good ol’ planning days and beating globalisation, they promise to revive the socialist policies that caused the foreign exchange problems of 1991.

New Delhi, 8th April, 2019: The quite uninteresting presentation of the manifesto is excused by the content of the Manifesto. At least the matter compensates the uninteresting looking manifesto. The extremely long document can be found here. Anyway, the plan of action of the red party will have its share of criticism and praise. Keeping with the lines of the party and as the “savior and protector” of minorities and may just have made half of the manifesto dedicated to minorities.

Also, they have maintained their apparent sense of protection for Indian firms from the monster known as Foreign Direct Investment. The plan put forward by the CPI(M) uneasily shares a considerable part with the INC Manifesto. For example, repeal the colonial era Sedition Law, Sec. 124A of IPC. And, complete withdrawal of AFSPA [From Jammu and Kashmir]. And, repeal Section 499 of IPC relating to defamation. Along with, restore the Planning Commission. This is uncommon for a party that has rejected alliance in West Bengal and Tripura, both having a strong presence of the Left. Read my previous article demolishing the Congress Manifesto and its over ambitious claims here.

Moving on to the CPI(M)’s manifesto:

1. Anti-Globalisation Move:
The manifesto has clear plan of: Halt privatisation of public sector enterprises and rollback privatisation in defence, energy and railways and basic services. Withdrawing the proposal to open finance sector for the entry of FDI. Ensure the FDI cap in the insurance sector of 26 per cent. Reversal of privatisation of defence production sector; immediately taking measures to rescind private participation in defence production; stopping FDI inflows in defence sector.

These steps, initially taken to increase efficiency of PSU had yielded great results. “Rollback” of such policies would just lay waste to the steps of the 1991 Industrial Policy and high rate of growth India experiences today.

Protecting Indian interests and standing up to the US moves to increase tariffs on Indian goods and waging ‘trade wars’. Contrary to their claims, until recently USA had cut tariffs for Indian goods and hoped that India did the same too for American Whisky.

Reviewing existing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs): It is sad to note that the anti West feelings of a party is getting converted to a anti Trade policy for an entire country. FTAs help the citizens of both the West and India.

2. Foreign Policy Minus Five years: The proposal of CPIM for the FP of India is just reversing India’s stand on anything that happened since 2019. Reverse the pro-Israeli tilt in foreign policy.  Also, strengthening relations with West Asia and South East Asia and establishing close ties with the Community of Latin American and Caribbean countries (CELAC).

In short, the attempts at strengthening relations with the West must be discontinued and India must ally up with anti US nations, just like the good ol’ days of the Soviet Union.

3. Eco(no)mic policies: For starters, depreciation of the rupee to its historically lowest levels ─ the value of the rupee to a US dollar was 63.19 in 2014. This shot up to 71.76 in 2019. The Drafting Committee may just have to update themselves because the rupee has become the strongest currency in Asia, as of 2019.

Drastic fall in India’s export earnings: between February 2014 and January 2019 India’s trade balance declined by a whopping 29.8 per cent. But this claim is contrary to actual statistics. View actual and recent deficit here. The defamation campaign against Indian commerce is not in the spirit of a national party.

Right to work as a Constitutional right; provision of unemployment allowance for jobless. Understanding basic economics is important to form a practical theory. Even if the constitution is amended and the right is enshrined, no one would be willing to work because of an “unemployment” provision in the law. This will lead to new levels of unemployment. This provision also undermines their honest attempt at the increment of the MGNREGA programme from 100 to 200 days.

Setting up special welfare board for fish workers and providing them identity cards and social security schemes. But such a programme, called Common Minimum Programme was set up during UPA which called for: Enhance the welfare and well-being of farmers, farm labour and workers, particularly those in the unorganized sector and assure a secure future for their families in every respect. The CMP had already created a social security programme for fisheries and other non formal sectors. Instead of expanding the existing programmes they look forward to increase the beaurocratic backlog of the country.Ironical corner because nothing is concrete in politics.

1.Pursuing policies for demilitarization of cyber space. But protecting Indian Internet and telecommunications networks from cyber attacks and surveillance by building indigenous capability.
2.Protect the fundamental and secular principles and democratic rights enshrined in the Constitution.

But, amend the constitution to make parliamentary approval mandatory for any international treaty. And, replacing Article 356 with a suitable provision and amending Article 355 to prevent their misuse.

People ask How do you define a person is successful or not. Well many people have many definitions, here is one of the definition I’ve have found on internet of “Being Successful”.

Do watch and introspect within yourself, “ARE YOU A SUCCESSFUL PERSON? “🇮🇳
