The saga of Terrorism, world politics and ‘left-liberal’ ecosystem

0

There is a famous saying that “no one can stop the idea whose time has come”.

For more than last 3 decades, India was shouting from every podium, every forum that what is happening in India, what Pakistan is doing in India, is terrorism but the world was dismissing India with nonchalance considering it as skirmishes due to Kashmir Conflict between the two nations.

Though the world sit up and acknowledged the problem after 9/11 attacks, the political will was missing due to the fear of upsetting a particular community, whose religious teachings were being misused to spread violence and chaos. It is not a hidden fact that most of the UN listed terror organizations are Islamist. Most of the terror attacks around the world have Islamist organizations behind them. And by refusing to call spade a spade, politicians, all over the world, tried to brush things under the carpet, not only insulting the millions of peaceful followers of Islam but also aggravating the problem.

Despite the acknowledgement after 9/11, not much was done in combating terrorism other than the lip-service from different platforms. All this while, the terrorists kept on getting emboldened and attacks in different parts of the world; London, Paris, Sri Lanka, USA, India, etc.; became a routine news. This was the time, when leaders across the world started becoming popular who professed strict action against terrorism.

Narendra Modi in India, Donald Trump in USA, and many others in South America, Europe and other countries; either came to power or grown in popularity during the last few years, on one of the planks of being tough on terror, which in a way proved that the establishment and politicians were thinking about their vote banks and were completely cut off from the ground realities.

All these leaders have been branded as anti-Muslims by their respective oppositions. But they all seemed to getting more and more popular! India and USA, with the support of other nations, have taken some drastic steps to address the roots of terrorism (the results of which have been mixed) but at the same time the minorities, mostly the Muslims, have not been lynched or marginalized or thrown out, as was predicted by the opposing forces on large scales.

So why is there a gap in the understanding of the opposition politicians and the sentiments on the ground? Why any action on terrorism or after any terrorist attack, messages and posts slamming Islamophobia start circulating? Why there is so much fear mongering among the Muslims by the politicians and the media?

Over the years, after the world war 2, a left-liberal-socialist ecosystem has emerged who consider themselves as the voice of the public and if the people at large do not agree with their views then the terms like ‘Intolerance’, ‘Islamophobia’, ‘White Supremacy’, ‘Hindu Terror’, are invented and propagated to shame people into accepting their views. In India, also, this “Khan Market gang” ecosystem works as part of this larger world ecosystem, who are the beneficiaries of the political systems over all these years.

This ecosystem and their chosen leaders and parties, completely failed in addressing the threat of terrorism and instead, aggravated the problem by catering to the religious extremist and fanatic groups in the name of Secularism. They insulted the Muslims by being apologetic about terrorism thereby associating this dastardly force with Islam that is practiced by millions everyday, and non-Muslims by questioning their apprehensions and legitimate questions over this rising barbaric force that was forcing them to live more and more in fear.

Rather than calling the problem as it was, it was made more and more complex, leading to the acceptance of violence in the name of religion. While the leaders, intellectuals and think-tanks of the world, tried their best to de-link Islam and terrorism, the fact is the more they tried the more they failed. Why? Because they were unafraid of speaking the truth and were sitting on this high pedestal where they looked everyone with contempt and of lesser intellect. The years of power had made them arrogant and had cut them off from the sentiments of a common man.

They, in their great wisdom, thought that the masses were too naive and uneducated to understand this complex issue related to religious terrorism. But it was not. It was as simple as any other question out there. If a businessman does a fraud, then that does not make every businessman a conman. Similarly if someone uses some religious concepts to spread terror and violence in the world, then that does not make every person belonging to that particular religion a terrorist. See its not that difficult to understand. But that does not mean that you would not act against the ones who do.

However, when you don’t trust the masses and their wisdom and keep on taking decisions that leads to the growth of this menace, be rest assured the masses will rise against you. Because it is not the lives of those living in ivory towers and posh bungalows that is in danger, but the lives of billions who bear the brunt of this hate ideology. People will demand to separate the ones who support terrorism and those who don’t. They will demand some changes in the mindset and practices of the followers to give a strong message to the ones who are using the very same traditions to abet terror.

Won’t you demand similar changes in law when crimes related to rape, murder, corruption, or misconduct happen? But in their pursuit of the mirage of secularism, they pushed the Muslims into the hands of the extremists, specially the poor ones. Now, after so many years of behaving and thinking in a particular way, they seem wary of the leaders who don’t conform to their world view. This new crop of leaders is not afraid to call spade a spade and is for using muscle power to curb terrorism.

This attitude and approach is gaining popularity among the people as they have been fed up of living in this constant fear and feeling weak. This means the world order is again changing. This means the beneficiaries of the old system and old way of thinking, are loosing relevance and thereby, power. This is making them wary and making them resort to distort history, propagate lies and half-baked truths.

That is why there is a constant effort to reduce the intensity associated with the word ‘terrorism’ by using the word in many different contexts. A simple law and order issue of cow smuggling gets reduced to ‘Cow Terrorism’; the cases of small tiffs between two groups over petty issues gets turned into ‘Hindu Intolerance or terrorism or lynchers’; the motive is to associate the word with so many petty issues related to the other communities that the word stops evoking the kind of emotion that it evokes today.

But instead of falling for this propaganda, people are calling them out by clearly understanding the difference between highly organized and sophisticated forces that indulge in terrorism and the isolated incidents that happen due to local issues. However, that does not stop these propagandists from increasing their decibel levels. Or the politicians who want to shine in politics by using these old tactics.

Kamal Hassan’s recent statement on Nathuram Godse being the first terrorist of Independent India who was a Hindu, is a reflection of the mindset that prevailed till a few years back. No one is ready to believe that the act of a single man killing a single person whom he hated due to different reasons, belonging to the same religion, in broad daylight; is comparable to the coordinated, well planned, thoroughly executed terror operations that are even difficult for some armies to pull off or detect.

It has been tried before. With Sadhvi Pragya, or Assemanand, or Col. Purohit, or the sole man who was responsible for Christchurch shootings; it was tried very hard to paint a picture that other religions too can lead to extremist tendencies. But alas, no one is ready to believe this theory. People tend to understand the difference between fake narratives or isolated incidents by a few individuals and the organized industry that is involved in terror activities all over the world.

But the question is will this disgruntled, stripped of power, ecosystem understand the sentiments of the common man. Highly unlikely. I feel these voices are going to get louder and louder as the action on terrorism gathers pace in the coming years, with these new age leaders on the helm. However, it seems to not matter as people have stopped caring and listening to them.

‘Aayega to Modi hi’ and ‘Mai bhi chowkidaar’ – the two slogans that portray defiance by the common man

0

There are many slogans that are flying around in this election but the two of them have captured the people’s imagination much more than all the others (like it is the case in any elections) – ‘Aayega to Modi hi’ and ‘Mai bhi chowkidaar’.

Although both the slogans have emerged from the general public through the instrument of social media, they have been made popular by the BJP campaign team. Since they have now become the clarion call for all the Modi ‘Bhakts’ and supporters, the Lutyens Left-Liberal ecosystem is trying its best to portray them as arrogant and aggressive, something which does not pass their sophistication test and thus should be demeaned at all cost using any means.

What they perceive as arrogant and anti-democratic, based on their perverse logic and twisted thought process, are actually the call of defiance by the general masses who might not have understood their true colors but have begun to understand their dubious intentions.

It is a well known fact that this ecosystem had hijacked the collective Indian thought process by establishing control over most of the institutions in last many decades. They used to have the final say on what was right and wrong, on what was allowed or not, on what was condemn-able or what was not. They looted the country and enjoyed its riches while the rest of the public was left to fight for crumbs thrown at them by the ‘large-hearted dynasts’.

They had taken the country at the verge of an economic failure and a social disaster through their policies and misuse of power. Generation and generations of sins were whitewashed with a single use of ink by writing false histories and euphoric praises. The entire country was forced to fall into the feet of new-age Kings and Queens, some of them imported from outside to let the masses know how ‘uncivilized’ they were and how they need ‘outsiders’ to teach them civility and ‘loyalty’.

It almost seemed like a lost battle when one man took everyone by surprise to rise to power in 2014. He was a symbol of hope for millions of Indians who were tired of living like foreigners in their own land. Who were tired of this ecosystem speaking on their behalf and teaching them about their own self.

It was a surprise for everyone, even for those who strongly believed in the man and the party. Since then, he has not only entrenched himself in the minds of his believers but has also gained popularity among his earlier detractors; through his policies, governance and conduct. He has enhanced his stature through his knowledge, philosophies and honesty. He has lived up to the expectations of being a strong and honest leader but has pleasantly surprised many with his soft skills to charm and inspire everyone around him.

He has proven to be a man in hurry and the one who means business with his speed, delivery, and vision. While improving the economic health and business health, he has also been able to touch the lives of millions of poor directly through one or the other scheme. The schemes have been designed to make a tangible impact on the quality of life of the beneficiary, be it Ujjwala, Saubhagya, Toilets, Housing for all, DBT, Jan-dhan, Kisan Samman, Ayushman, or numerous others.

Even the hard-core haters of Narendra Modi have to begrudgingly admit the impact of the schemes when they hear directly from the people who have received the benefits. And given the tendency of the media to find anything under the sun to blame Modi or invent something to cast aspersions on his claims and promises in these last few years, we can safely assume that they would have been trying very hard to find faults with all these schemes. This means the reality is closer to what government claims rather than what the opposition wants us to believe.

Having known very well that the nations are not build in 5 years or 10 years, all the problems do not get solved in one term given that we live in a democracy which we all cherish so much, they try to play the game of ‘but-what-else’ or ‘Acchhe din’ with the general public while talking to them although simultaneously trying to push their agenda on them.

They fully understand that the speed and delivery of this govt. is unseen in Independent Indian history. The know very well that they have been unable to cast aspersions on the intentions of this govt. given the level of transparency and achievements this govt. has been able to showcase. They conveniently forget that for the past so many decades the elections were being fought on ‘Right to Food’ and ‘increasing subsidized cylinders from 6 to 8, or 8 to 12’.

They try to subtly push their agenda into the minds of the people by using a series of misleading questions, an art which they have mastered in all these years. Those who can see the work but are unable to articulate it very well, unaware of the evil designs of theirs, then are forced to come up with slogans which then become the clarion calls for the many.

When they keep asking an endless ‘what else’ from a young villager, they admit a lot more has to be done (which we all know) but simultaneously come up with ‘Aayega to Modi hi’. When they question people about Rafale ‘Scam’, despite being privy to the truth themselves, a lesser aware middle class man dismiss the allegations and the lies by saying ‘Mai bhi Chowkidaar’.

These slogans have become the voice of the masses who can see the work around them, can sense that the intentions of the govt. are noble, can feel that the country is moving in the right direction, but are unable to express it in the ‘Angrezi’ words that these snobbish elite understand.

They are an act of defiance by the people who are standing up against this evil ecosystem that has kept them poor and needy for their own selfish gains.

To mock PM Modi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi set a new low for self and ended with self mocking

0

In this LS Poll 2019, we have seen a lot – murder of democracy in West Bengal, abusive words for hon’ble PM by Mamata Banerjee and many other veteran leaders. There is a undeclared competition between opposition leaders to abuse and mock PM Narendra Modi.

In this context, yesterday Congress President Rahul Gandhi tweeted a new word Modilie mocking Modiji. He tweeted, “There’s a new word in the English Dictionary. Attached is the snapshot of the entry :)”

One of his supporters and a parody account of Karan Thapar wrote, “Big achievement for honorable Prime Chowkidar. 3rd standard fail hone ke bawajood ModiG ne kamaal kar diya.”

But soon, it came into light it is fake and Oxford Dictionary does not contain such words after the tweet by Oxford Dictionary team itself.

From a party of 125 year old, with a legacy of freedom fight, such a low is unacceptable. To dominate and mock PM Modi, Congress President even not bothered to maintain a decency for his political adversary. At the end, after tweet of Oxford Dictionary he ended with mocking himself. Oxford Dictionary tweeted, “We can confirm that the image showing the entry ‘Modilie’ is fake and does not exist in any of our Oxford Dictionaries.”

Such childish behavior of Congress President is not only loosing his own credibility but loosing credibility of 125 year old party’s credibility too. For the derogatory remark by any of his party man, he can excuse that it’s his own view. But for his own idiocy what he can do?! No way to escape. This is not the first time he caught himself in a tight corner situation but previously he did so when he told that Supreme Court has agreed Chowkidar Chor Hai. Then ended with a apology in court. But he is Rahul Gandhi, swore to never mature. At this time I remember one Hindi phrase befitting in the situation, “Kutte kin dum, kabhi sidhi nahi hoti”

Anti-Hindu pathogens want to destroy India and Hinduism – save India, elect Modi

0

People of India must understand the ground truth that several the so called secular parties, Tukde Tukde gangs and Khan market gangs are really working overtime to divide India by infusing disharmony between Hindus and other religions. Through such division, the dynastic parties think that they can achieve near permanent patronage of minority community. Along with the support from small fraction of Hindus and complete support of minority communities they can remain in power, unchallenged.

To achieve the above goal, they are constantly abusing Hindus and Hindu culture. Hindus are tolerant, compassionate, forgiving and even accept the differences and diversity. The philosophy of RSS and political culture of BJP are the best examples for tolerance and sab ka vikas polity. Knowing fully well about the patience and tolerance of Hindus, several political leaders by way of opposing Modi are abusing Hindus. What they are actually attempting to do is to provoke and intimidate Hindus and pushing Hindus to extreme reactions in order to milk their political dividend out of some unrest between Hindus and other religions.

Minority appeasement politics and politics of abusing Hindus are the two approaches the dynastic parties are practicing in India to sow the seeds of destruction and danger to our religious harmony and peace. The world is defining terrorism as an extreme act that does not have any caste, colour and religion. That is why even when several Islamic organizations engaged in global terrorism are described as Islamist terrorism and not Islamic terrorism as such description would unnecessary affect the good temperament of several innocent Muslims.

The extreme appeasement politics of Kamal Hassan calling Godse to be the first Hindu terrorist is meant more to affect the peace and harmony of Tamil Nadu. Rajiv Gandhi was killed by Sri Lankan Tamils in Tamil Nadu. Does that allow us to describe entire Tamil people as terrorist? Indira Gandhi was killed by two Sikh body guards. Does that mean the entire Sikh community as terrorists? Several People from Christian religion like Charles Sobraj etc., had engaged in several heinous activities and murders. Does that mean we can call all Christians as terrorists?

Abusing Hindus is not the first time happening in India. Congress party coined Hindu terrorism and persecuted Sadhvi Pragya and Swami Assemandnda, which the entire world knows.

Along the side of abusing Hindus, minority appeasement is also quite rampant among most of the political parties and especially the congress party of the dynast-naamdaar. The Tukde Tukde gangs are fueling unrest and hatred among Hindus and other religions and are intimidating Hindus by abusing Hinduism. If any violence or untoward incident occurs, these minority appeasing parties can milk the situation.

In the last 5 years India has grown significantly, developed in several frontiers and achieved great heights in economic stability and better quality of life among people living in rural India under extreme poverty.

Secularism in India would survive only if Modi continue in power and not the party of the dynast or tukde tukde gnags. For them, power to loot and power to fool people is more important than the nation and therefore they may not mind pushing the country to any extreme situation by abusing Hindus and fueling religious animosity. On the one side they are branding BJP as Hindu party and at the other end they are abusing Hindus and appeasing minority. It looks like the dynast and other tukde tukde gangs want to destroy Hinduism completely so that they can act as dalals of certain missionaries and facilitate conversion of innocent people to different religions for some tips and coolie.

Hinduism is under siege. People of India, irrespective of their religious affiliations must join together and must support Modi to save India. All Indians were Hindus once and even today they follow several Hindu tradition and cultural practices. Hinduism is the identity, ethos and culture of India. The people with hybrid gene and their punkah coolies cannot understand the sacredness of Hinduism, for the punkah coolies, only the tips and coolie matters and nothing else.

Modi is working hard to achieve sab ka vikas and several schemes of Modi had benefited minority the most than Hindus because the vision of Modi is for development and prosperity of everyone in India. Providing equal opportunity to all and integrating everyone in building New India is the mission of Modi. The New India as envisaged by Modiji belongs to Indians and not just of Hindus.

More than Hindus understand and recognize their Hindu identity, the people of other religions must recognize and accept the universal truth that they were Hindus once and as long as they live in Hindustan, they are Hindus in broader sense and the religion that they chose to follow and practice like Islam, Christianity etc., are only the recent events.

Like people say they are American citizen, British national, Russian etc., Indian are Hindus at the philosophical and cultural level. The above sense of oneness, patriotism and spiritual unification of people with their original and authentic identity called Hinduism alone can make India prosperous and wealthy.

It is like how important is human values to live in the society than the name, so is Hinduism. The religion like Islam, Christianity etc., that they follow are like the name and the Hinduism is like the humanity or the larger identity of Indians as a whole.

When people join together to build New India by electing Modi and defeating all divisive forces and gangs that spread negativity and hatred, India shall prosper. Modi alone can save India and therefore save India, elect Modi should be the mantra people must chant, practice and spread in the society.

Kamal Haasan is both the vector and pathogen of religious harmony and prosperity. Let us isolate such poison ivy through ballot paper. Let us save India by electing Modi with massive support.

Chowkidar Ranganathan

Issues for isaster Management and Disaster Risk Reduction in India

The death toll of Fani Cyclone which hit the Odisha coast on the Friday morning of May 3rd, has now reportedly risen to 64 lives and caused colossal damages to vital infrastructure in sectors of telecom, power and water supply, in towns and districts like Bhubaneswar, Puri, Khurdha, Cuttack and Nayagarh.

During any natural calamities, the governments of the states which are hit by such calamities, are primarily responsible for execution of relief operations, with the Central government only supplanting its efforts by providing financial assistance from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) as well as National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF).

Hence, post this tragedy too, the India’s central government sanctioned an advance of Rs. 341 crores to Orissa’s State Disaster Response Fund, and after gauging the extent of damage, announced an additional relief of Rs. 1000 crore rupees.

The Odisha government’s efforts were lauded internationally too, as it was able to minimise the damage to lives and property, on account of advance and accurate warnings of the cyclone issued by the Metrological department. Odisha had learnt its lessons well from the past calamities it has faced, the most horrendous being the Super Cyclone of 1999 which claimed 10,000 lives and pushed more than 25 lakh people into extreme poverty. This is evident because this time around, it was able to evacuate more than 1 million people into 9000 shelters which had been made with 20 years of persistent efforts. (Orissa had just 21 shelters in 1999).

Odisha government responded to the disaster with the help of huge number of volunteers, emergency workers, officials, youth clubs, and other civil society organisations like National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF). The rescue operations before and after the event executed by the Odisha government with help of defence forces and various other stakeholders including the central government that worked in tandem with the state government.

The preparedness of the state government and the swift response to the disaster also stemmed from the fact that India is committed to following the ‘Sendai Framework’ (a framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) which is endorsed by the United Nations). The Indian government had released its first ever National Disaster Management Plan, based on the Sendai Framework on 1st June 2016. The countries, which are committed to this framework are bound to make all possible efforts before and during the natural calamity to minimise the destruction of lives and property.

The restoration of the damaged infrastructure and rehabilitation of millions of people, who have lost their homes, savings, property and livelihoods is now a challenge, which requires huge amount of funds as well as, a well developed and managed plan.

The assistance for long term reconstruction of assets is not covered under norms and guidelines of SDRF & NDRF, but is left to be provided by overall development plans of the states and the centre. Post implementation of GST, the states are finding their flexibility in terms of their receipts reduced. This is so because, many indirect taxes are subsumed by GST and their rates are now decided by GST Council. Thus, the states now have limited flexibility in making decisions regarding tax rates on goods and services.

The only silver lining here is the fact that the Centre has guaranteed a 14% increase in tax revenue for a period of five years, post 2018-19. In case of less than 14 % growth, the states will be given compensation grants by the Centre. Odisha specifically would receive 4,074 crores in 2018-19.
The limited flexibility in fixing tax rates or introducing new taxes, means that the government cannot pin all its hopes on this avenue of fund generation.

Clearly, a catastrophe of this nature that has affected 14 million people in 16,000 villages would need massive resources and involvement of various stakeholders and the private corporate sector will play a pivotal role. The private sector is and cannot be unaffected by the negative impact of disasters and the long-time taken to rehabilitate and rebuild; on the growth patterns of the economy. In order to involve the private sector creatively, in this exercise, it is necessary to tap the huge potential of CSR; not only for relief work but also to work dedicatedly to build resilience in systems to mitigate risk during disasters. The best approach to bring private sector to partner with the government sector in this task, would be to clearly define CSR interventions for DRR and building resilience in rural as well as urban communities.

If a chain of efforts is initiated with corporate sector and support from civil society and NGOs, the initiatives so taken, will have a potential to encourage Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which can play a vital role thereby speeding up the pace of recovery of the economy. The government both Centre and states have now realized that a lack of preparedness causes substantial drain on vital resources.

Therefore, the issue of mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction and long term planning for disaster management has been brought for deliberations, on the table. Many organisations like the National Institute of Disaster Management are now deliberating on the issue. The government is also ready to tweak CSR laws under the Companies Act to enable greater participation of the private sector for the cause of DRR.

Why Amit Shah should thank Priyanka Vadra

MahaGadbandan – After the infamous Guest House incident when Mayawati was attacked and parted ways, SP and BSP has firmed up their alliance after a gap of 24 years to take on the might of BJP, which swept the elections in 2014. On paper, the combined vote strength of SP and BSP put together is strong enough to wipe out BJP of its major gains but politics is not always a zero sum game. The MGB left out Congress, apparently on the insistence of BSP Chief Mayawati who is averse to the Congress, primarily owing to the lack of respect to BSP in Rajasthan and Madyapradesh. In both these states, Congress thought that it could take on BJP on its own and considered BSP a marginal player, not having enough strength to influence the results in any significant manner. It might be true that BSP might not be strong enough in MP and Rajasthan but it is also true that Congress is just a fringe player in most of UP.

Even with Congress out of the alliance, poll pundits predicted that MGB will bag most of the seats, giving a setback to the ambitions of Modi to retain power. However, there are other forces at work which are going to seriously damage the prospects of MGB. In the IPL 2019, in one of the final league matches, Royal Challengers Bangalore, which was at the bottom of the table, played their last match with SunRisers Hyderabad. A win for SRH would have kept their chances of playoff alive but RCB comfortably won the match, taking with it SRH. In UP, Congress cannot hope to win more than a couple of seats on its own and it cannot influence the results in many constituencies but still it can play spoil-sport and affect the chances of MGB.With the SP-BSP combine fighting against the BJP and no possibility of them ever supporting a BJP government at the centre, why should Congress try to scuttle their chances? There lies the game of the family.

As things stand today, Congress cannot hope to win anything in UP, WB, Telengana, AP, Odisha and not more than 15 in Rajasthan, Gujarat & MP combined. This leaves about 225 seats out of reach of the Congress party. If Congress has to get a respectable total to cobble up a majority with other parties, it has to cross at least 180 seats on its own, which is not possible out of the remaining 300 seats. Congress is very much aware that it cannot hope to capture power in this election but the game plan is to get a shot at government formation in 2024 and ensure the survival of the family.

Like Mayawati is averse to an alliance with Congress, the reverse is also true with leaders in Congress, especially Priyanka Vadra, not keen to have a tie-up with BSP. However, if the MGB wins hands down in 2019, the chances of Congress being accommodated in any future alliance is completely ruled out. MGB hopes to get at least 60 out of 80 in UP. If it happens, then Congress can forget UP forever. Therefore, it is in the interest of Congress to ensure the defeat of MGB in considerable seats.

Congress has fielded strong candidates wherever BSP is contesting and chose weak candidates wherever SP is contesting. This includes fielding a BSP rebel which infuriated Mayawati. The strategy of Congress is to support SP candidates and defeat BSP candidates even if it means victory for BJP because once Mayawati gets into the winning ways, there is no stopping her and Congress knows it better than anyone else. With the inclusion of Priyanka Vadra into the campaign in UP, Congress workers naturally feel rejuvenated, primarily because they don’t have any faith left in Rahul anymore.

The reason for the Congress supporting SP is there is no conflict of interest. While Rahul is the eternal PM in waiting, Akilesh Yadav apparently nurtures no such ambitions, at least for the present but Mayawati is open with her ambition to play a greater role at the centre as the PM. Anybody having 30+ will be a strong contender for the post of PM from the third front and as things stand today, Mayawati is the only leader who can hope to come anywhere near the mark.

With the resurgent BJP in WB, the only state where any party from the Third front can hope to get the maximum number of seats is UP only. Congress also hopes that Akilesh would be easy to handle than Mayawati. This is the erstwhile MGR formula adopted in Tamil Nadu way back in the 1980, where the ADMK would get to contest most of the seats for the Assembly and leaving most of the seats to Congress in Parliament elections. This arrangement will suit the Congress as it is not bothered about regional leaders of the party, as long as their continuance at the center is guaranteed. This has been the primary reason for the decline of Congress in State after State where regional leaders are never allowed to grow in stature, fearing a threat to the family.

While Priyanka Vadra declared that Congress will be cutting into the votes BJP, the fact remains that it is going to do much greater damage to not only BSP but also SP, by creating a three way split of the votes in UP. For the Congress, the interests of the Family always comes before interests of the party. If the MGB gets below 35 seats, Amit Shah should thank only Priyanka Vadra.

How did Hindutva become dangerous?

0

For those who have been living in the West, for those who have buried their head in the sand and for those who have been educated in the Nehruvian philosophy of pseudo liberal secularism, the term Hindutva immediately gets their alarm bells ringing. It somehow makes them quake in their boots and suddenly the end of the world is just not predicted but they say it is imminent.

So what is it that riles these seculars and the West about the term Hindutva? And why is it considered so dangerous? I mean Hindus have been here since the dawn of civilization and its religions, if you go by the history. In fact we are the oldest religion in the entire world and yet we are termed as violent, immature and our culture is termed as a sham. We are attributed with unleashing mayhem and violence on the world if we even dare say the word Hindu or Hindutva.

I mean, where is this fear emanating from? Its not like we have wiped out civilisations and religions just like the Church did in wiping out Greek history or Romanian History or forceful conversions of people of different faiths during their many inquisitions? Can we forget how the USA was formed? Weren’t the natives of that land systematically wiped out just because they didn’t fit with their white supremacist ideology? Can we forget the racial abuse of the blacks and the slave life they were made to lead and again it was the White Supremist elites, who were inflicting it. Or closer to home, how Hindus and their Gods were systematically vilified by the Mughals and then the White supremists in the garb of teaching us culture?

So once again, where does the fear emanate from that Hasan Minhaj on a talk show in Netflix has the audacity to talk about Hindu Nationalism or Hindutva in such a condescending tone and imply that we are a savage bunch of violent misfits set on ruining our own country? Can any of these liberals give solid evidence that Hindus have ever been involved in violent skirmishes portraying their Gods as great while demeaning other religions or Gods? Can they show a Hindu who has in the name of Hindutva forcefully converted people of other faiths into his culture?

Islam doesn’t propagate violence and yet you have Islamic Terrorists world over fighting in the name of the same religion and hoping to erase the existence of other faiths and still we are afraid of Hindus and Hindutva, when there isn’t an iota of proof that our culture is violent or promotes violence. Can we forget the evangelical outfits, who in the name of religion have massacred innocent people of other faiths?

The reason for their fear can be summed up very easily. These people are afraid because they could successfully wipe out all other civilisations and cultures without any problem but Hindutva survived the onslaught of torture, rapes and even mass murders for a thousand years or more by the erstwhile Islamic rulers and the British and in an independent India by the Nehruvian philosophy of liberalism which demonised and shamed Hindus into feeling insecure and repentant, although for what I am still not sure. The fact that our culture even made it to the 21st century is a miracle in itself. I mean imagine how inspite of these trials and tribulations Hindutva even in its most stripped away and most bare form survived and now there is a yearning for the citizens of this country to go back to their lost roots and preserve their identity for future generations to understand. We have not advocated violence or sought reparations for the various ills inflicted on us either by the British, Mughals or the political elite after independence. We have quietly and diligently gone about in search of our lost identity. And now after understanding our true identity Hindus worldwide are wearing their Hindutva on their sleeves.

They arent discriminating against others but at the same time they aren’t allowing anyone to discriminate against them. And that scares the shit out of these so called liberal intellectuals. They are not worried about us becoming violent, they are worried about the tectonic shift in the status quo. They feel threatened by the fact that they couldn’t wipe out our identity in spite of their many tries.

So yes Hindutva is here to stay. How much ever Time Magazine tries to portray a man working for the upliftment and betterment of this country as a great Divider or how much ever Hasan Minhaj tries to portray Hindus and Hindutva as a bunch of violent goons with a violent philosophy or whenever an elite White supremist or Islamic radical tries to look down upon our identity, Hindus and Hindutva are here to stay and work on its core objective philosophy of peace and harmony for all.

Let them try to put fear and demonise the term Hindu or Hindutva as it only makes people look for the truth. And when the truth comes out the bubble that these so called intellectuals and fear mongerers have been living in will burst and the world will see us for what we are and what they are!

If thousands of years of brutality and violence couldnt wipe out my Hindutva, the xenophobic insults of the elite will only make it stronger and eventually the truth is visible to all, as in this day and age of social media information is available at the click of a button.

So I say to the Hasan Minhajs of this world to go about their fear mongering and lies. Please don’t stop. We aren’t ashamed of our identity anymore and we have seen behind your masks of neutrality. So go ahead the Lutyens media or the Socialist Supremist elites, talk about us in the most vile manner possible because when the myth is busted all that will remain is the truth.

Dear Prime Minister Narendra Modi! You’ve failed in PR Management

0

Prime Minister Narendra Modi ever since his Arangetram into Indian politics who was directly picked up by Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji and Lal Krishna Advani ji as Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001, he has been failing in his PR strategy very badly. Despite handling the communal riots of Godhra in the best way ever in the history of India, he got tagged as a mass murderer. He failed badly in branding and PR Management of Godhra. All because he didn’t pay the agencies to show what has actually happened. He has destroyed the parampara of lifafas to media and hence a very bad PR strategist.

I would be happy if you learn this from Congress. Yes! You should be learning anything which is good for your party’s sustenance. Look at how congress party has managed it’s PR. It maintained a clear stance all the time. It has given the media personnel full freedom to have as much as branded alcohol they want and always took care of their travelling allowances with luxury flight tickets. NDA has miserably failed in providing minimum requirements for any media personnel, especially when abroad.

Dear PM Modi, with all due respect I say you, that you have failed to learn the art of PR Management. You’ve miserably failed in honouring those who feasted over parliament attacks. You have failed in honouring those who were hinting and helping the terrorists through media and held up the true spirit of freedom of speech. You never gave them a Padmashri despite their services to keep Indians unaware of the reality in your government and even in the previous governments. They have all managed their PR very well. You failed to recognise them with awards and hence your deterioration of PR strategy started.

You could have at least given an award to one or two media personnel who are for truth and have shown you in a good light. Despite their shouting out the truth on the television, you couldn’t hear to them. You failed miserably in PR.

I hate you for not managing your PR. Yes! I understand there is social media today and you can communicate to people directly with your Mann Ki Baat and tweets and pics on Instagram and informing to people directly on what you’re doing. But in this process of modernising the way PM communicates, you’re missing out the huge chunk of mainstream media, you’re not taking care of them as the previous governments did. Some recent digital magazines heads used to get paid as high as 30000 rupees for ranting out their frustration on lstv and rstv in the previous government’s regime and have made good sums of money venting their frustration and illogical logic. But you miserable failed to promote them and failed badly in managing your PR.

PR is an art of managing money. You should pay someone so that they don’t shout out to the public how much is being spent on PR. But you have failed in managing this money by putting it straight in an RTI on how much money is being spent for something mere like advertising. The ‘PR dalaals’ are not being provided with that scotch from Ministry of external affairs anymore. Why is it that you have stopped it. Damn! The result of that action is they have started speaking. You should keep their mouths locked with costly scotch to uphold freedom of the press.

I again advise you to please them, at least in the second term of yours and learn the art of PR Management.

Yours truly
Aam aadmi of Bharat.
