Why Tamil Nadu need Modi and not anti-Hindi agitators

0

Tami Nadu needs a national leader and not state or regional leader to lead the state to progress and prosperity. Starting from solving the problem of unemployment, agrarian distress to water crisis, regional parties can at best only know to blow up their pipe and create firewall around the state not to yield to the neighbouring state as a part of their vote bank politics only PM Modi alone can offer solution.

Need of the hour is national vision and national sentiments in the state and not over harvesting on regionalism for political gain as practiced by DMK and other tukde tukde groups. The changing weather conditions, total failure and or heavy down pouring of rains in different parts of India etc., demands Indians to work more as one nation than re-inventing the regionalism or federal character of the state.

The acute water crisis of Tamil Nadu and death of over hundreds of children in Bihar due to encephalitis, both are problems of India and such problems does not belong to the respective states alone. Whenever a state encounter any natural calamity or other problems beyond the manageable strength of the state, India as a whole must respond positively to the state and must rescue the state because India and Indians can be helped only Indians and not by people of other country.

Therefore one spirit and one letter called India, should drive the states to unite and work together to build New India. Keep whipping regionalism, opposing the entry of Hindi language and spreading negative opinion about the people of other states by the regional parties will never lead India to success nor would ever help to solve multitude of problems.

For Tamil Nadu, the need of the day is a national leader who is benevolent, wise, visionary and un-corrupt and incorruptible and would promote the core ethos and philosophy of India, called Hinduism, the umbilical cord that unites India together.

PM Modi is the only leader as on date fit the definition of a leader of all states. PM Modi is true and sincere to Tamil Nadu as well as to Karnataka and to all other states. His vision for New India encompasses the progress and prosperity of every state and every state together makes India great. Therefore every state must follow one aim – INDIA but can have several objectives. To keep the state anchored to the aim well, every state needs a national leader and not the regional leader. Days of regional leaders are over and the state must move towards one India.

Fortunately AIADMK, PMK, DMDK and many other regional parties are in alliance with BJP lead by Narendra Modi. All the regional parties of BJP alliance in Tamil Nadu must therefore promote the importance of Tamil Nadu having a national leader Modi to ensure development of the state and free the state from corruption and dynastic rule.

It is impossible for any politicians to be in power continuously and incorruptible but Narendra MODI has proved it to be possible in Indian politics, in the recent times. To integrate and fix various problems of the state, a leader with national vision is necessary and not by those politicians who divide the state by spreading negative and hate politics, politics of dynasty and nepotism, anti-Hindi, anti-Hindu and anti-God sentiments and venom against Brahmins can save the state.

Tamil Nadu needs to move along with the vision of one India, one election and should not separate its umbilical cord with India, called Hinduism.

DMK by playing Dravidian politics and politics of negativism has ruined the state. Recently one of the prominent leaders of DMK has warned the state government that he would not allow water to be brought to Chennai from Vellore, his home constituency.

How DMK can see Vellore and Chennai separately and can have a fair vision for Tamil Nadu?

The same old politics of DMK is not going to save the state and therefore the state must support BJP and Modi. Tamil Nadu needs a national leader. All the alliance parties must spread the good governance and all pro-poor initiatives Modi to the people of Tamil Nadu and must educate the people to support BJP government at the centre and the alliance government in the state and not DMK. PMK, DMDK, AIADMK etc., must reach out to their constituent support base to work towards building New India and new Tamil Nadu where centre and state must work together as partners and not as two opposing forces.

The partnership with the centre must be to progress the state and not to loot from the public exchequer as in the case of UPA 2 where DMK was alleged have looted huge sum of money from 2G auction and some leaders of DMK also served jail term.

Hope the people of the state will recognize the urgent need that the state needs a national leader Modi and not the regional parties that plays divisive politics on language, culture and ethnicity. India must grow as one family where one state will voluntarily come forward to solve the problems of the other state and vice versa and not fear monger among people that they alone can safe guard the rights of the respective states.

Let us pledge our unconditional support to PM Modi and build New Tamil Nadu and New India.

Will ex-TDP Minister P. Narayana Join BJP?

The speculations of ex-TDP Minister P. Narayana joining BJP are on rise after four MPs joined BJP. The social media is on the buzz with recent developments. After tasting bitter defeat in recent elections his close aides suggesting him to make wise decisions to rescue himself.

The YSR Congress leaders claim that during TDPs ruling there were huge land scams which took place in Amaravati and Narayana was also involved in it.

Narayana for five years was a Minister in Municipal Administration. Sources said that this is the reason he is not taking any decision to shift his loyalties. TDP believed in his dedication and offered party responsibilities and Ministerial positions.

With the surprising defeat in elections, the party leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu began travelling in Europe. Here back at home four TDP MPs joined BJP, the party looks like a sinking boat.

YSR Congress is focusing on irregularities in TDP government ruling in the projects. With the crucial role of Narayana in Land pooling for Amaravati, the focus is straight on him. For many years Narayana was targeted by YSR Congress for suicides of students in his educational institutions, now that they are in power its tough time for Narayana either he has to face action or shift his loyalties to National Party BJP to bail out from the situations.

Fiscal federalism and special category status: Need for a re-look

0

In the past era of coalition politics, India was moving through an uncertain economic terrain. We hadn’t done away with socialist economic model, and yet we liberalized the economy in 1991. We gave this model the name of ‘Mixed Economy’, essentially because of pretentious intellectual class, that had transpired within the Red Tape of India. That was the time when common people couldn’t use internet to make their views public. We had, what was served to us in fancy plates with a lot of seasoning. Populist decisions drew votes, and it was trendy to be politically correct all the time. There were various kinds of preferential treatment to one group over the other. One such kind of bias was granting Special Category Status.

Started in 1969, with 3 States and presently 11 States, we can easily see where this increment is coming from. It was a hollow attempt of Central Governments to stop the increasing popularity of Regional Parties, most of whom took up State issues even while contesting National Elections. Little did the Grand Old Party’s leaders realize that breaking India into smaller units, both politically and economically is succumbing to the ‘Breaking India Forces’ as Rajiv Malhotra defines. Congress constantly lost its vote bank to State Parties, who never thought of national policies. This model of polity and economy was bound to stagnate the country on all fronts.

Since 2014 elections, its clear that people hate being treated as a vote bank. People of India have started differentiating between State Elections and National Elections. Classic examples is Delhi, and more recently emergence of BJP in Odhisa during 2019 elections, not to mention that National and State elections were held simultaneously. Hence a push for One Nation, One Election is at the right point in time. On the economic front, Fiscal Federalism structure should be thought about as well. ‘Privileged’ has become the new abusive word in economic conscience of Indians as a whole. And hence, exclusive ideas of State politics won’t yield votes at the national level, keeping in mind the ever growing connectivity and internal migration in India. This gives us an opportunity of policy continuation, coupled with One Nation, One Election, where the legislature will be bound to run for full 5 years and no confidence motion will have to be replaced by confidence motion at all levels.

All this leave the Special Category Status just as a relic of Planning Commission which used to allocate funds to SCS states. However, mere scrapping SCS appears more like Marxist idea of revolution. Hence, SCS must be replaced by something more pragmatic and workable. An option could be dividing the entire nation into 5 regions- North, South, East, West and Central. States in these regions share common geographic problems that need to be addressed, more like ‘hilly terrain’ criteria in SCS eligibility. For example- Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan in the west share water scarcity as a problem, Eastern states need to uplift their tribal population, River pollution is common to Northern States etc.

The SCS states used to get 30-40% of the Central financial assistance. Each of the 5 regions can be allocated those funds one by one in each budget, over a span of 5 years, which coincides with the term of legislature. However, NITI Ayog would also have to overlook that these funds are utilized fully in order to implement matters exclusive to the Concurrent List. For example- Education, Social Security, Labour Welfare, Trade and Commerce, Factories etc. This will be more inclusive approach towards targeted development, where Center and States will partner, rather than bearing each others’ company for one year.

One time allocation in 5 years will also assure that corrupt leakage points are not fed on a regular basis. Moreover, it will also enhance competition between the States of a region. In future, such mechanisms can also be used for handling Inter State water disputes and other kinds of Inter State disputes. However, such revamp needs a proper road-map, accountability mechanism and political will.

HD Dev Gowda’s JDS made congress to write own obituary column in Karnataka

0

The situation of congress party in Karnataka has become like that of Bhasmasura.

Bhasmasura was a great Siva Bhakta like the dynast of the congress party as he also made such claim during state elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh some months ago.

After several years of penance, the Asura got a boon from Lord Siva that if he touches the head of anyone would immediately turns to ashes. With that power, the Bhasmasura become arrogant and wicked. Finally the Lord Vishnu appeared in the form of a beautiful lady-Mohini, made the Asura to follow several dance steps and finally tricked the asura to touch own head and then turns to ashes.

Karnataka people elected BJP to power in the last state election. But the congress party played a foul politics and made JDS Kumarasamy as chief minister by extending support to him thinking that such an alliance would help congress to be in power as well can keep BJP away from power. But the political treachery and butchery people’s mandate by congress party had demoralized the winning prospects of the party not only in Karnataka but in entire India.

The real winner of congress folly is JDS and the real loser is the congress party. Today congress party is in a state of fix, cannot withdraw support nor could continue its support to JDS. JDS has already started to play victim politics, exposed the congress party how it has offered its support and not allowing JDS to govern the state. Congress on the other hand is totally helpless as it does not want JDS to run the government and gain some reputation and at the same time does not want to pull down the government as well.

The state of Karnataka is the real sufferer of the dirty politics of the congress party. The only way the state can save itself is by eliminating JDS and congress from the state and people must elect BJP with massive majority for another three terms like how people of Gujarat had elected BJP in the state and how wise Indians elected Narendra Modi with landslide majority for the second term.

Only if people eliminate congress party from Karnataka politics, the state can progress and prosper otherwise the state has to endure the butchery of democracy and consecration of rule of corruption, dynastic politics, nepotism and finally the state is being pushed backward to repent and regret for several years.

JDS has smartly made the congress party to be like all powerful Bhasmasura. If the congress party touches the head of JDS government, automatically the action of the congress party also would reduce the congress party to ashes. Therefore congress party is doing all it can to ruin the administration so that it can earn as bad name as possible to JDS. The Karnatak state is suffering due to the above dirty politics of the congress party. JDS on its part, rather than focusing on governance, started to reach out to people with its victim story and how congress is not allowing JDS to do anything for the people of Karnataka.

The pain and swelling in the mouth of congress party is difficult to treat as the party could not either swallow or spit out the pain. The price for dirty politics started by the congress party takes its bill also from the party. When a party butcher democracy and mandate of people in day light and prevent BJP government, the natural choice and wish of people of the state to form government and rule the state, definitely a brute punishment to such daylight butchery is sure. The last parliamentary election result has clearly shown that people of Karnataka are going to be harsh with congress party.

People of Karnataka have to be very assertive, decisive and firm in eliminating congress – JDS alliance from Karnataka politics.

Only when people started to punish all corrupt political parties and tukde tukde gangs in Indian politics and repeatedly elect corruption and scam free government of BJP and PM Modi, we can ensure India becomes a great land to live. Corruption and scams are really pushing India backward. Prime Minister Modi has built India brick by brick and has taken the country to a new trajectory of growth and sab ka vikas. People of India must pledge their unconditional support to PM Modi to fulfill the vision of New India and sab ka vikas. Let us allow congress party of the dynast to play continuously the same old dirty politics and ruin itself.

#BrokenNews: Tinder to introduce matrimony section for girls who are ‘not here for hookups’

0

A fascinating development took place after the management at Tinder’s corporate office came to know of an incident involving a woman who put rape charges on a man with whom she had willingly had sex, facilitated by the app.

The woman and the man met through the popular app that seeks to facilitate casual sex or hookups. But the woman wanted more than just a casual relationship. However when the man refused her marriage proposal, she decided to file a rape case on him.

Our sources tell that the upper management was quite perturbed by the thought that the app is losing out on the matrimony market, when they heard the news. They immediately commissioned an internal market research survey. The survey conducted by Tinder shows that somewhere around eighty to ninety percent of the female users that are on Tinder are “not here for hookups.” But the research could not conclude as to what exactly is it about the app that makes females have such a conception about the nature of the app.

Nevertheless, Tinder is determined to dominate the Matrimonial market in India. It has decided to introduce a matrimony section for women who think hookup apps can find their soulmate. Tinder may tie up with Shaadi.com in a joint venture for this purpose. There are also talks of a corporate take-over of ‘JeevanSaathi’ a popular matrimonial service.

Fear of outsiders to stoke Nativism would not let her get votes

0

Hemmed in by controversies Bengal Chief Minister has opened a new flank of friction. Raking up the divisive rhetoric of outsider-insider politics, she strongly rooted for linguistic nationalism. “If you are coming to Bengal, you have to speak Bengali. We would not allow that people will come from outside and beat Bengalis”. It is true that in spite of winning 18 out of 42 seats in the 2019 state elections the BJP is still perceived as a Hindi belt party in Bengal. But still a large number of Hindus in Bengal voted for BJP this time. Now Mamata is trying desperately to create a divide between Bengali and non-Bengali communities on the basis of linguistic identity, there by trying to turn the table on BJP.

The fear of outsiders and how they can be used to stoke nativism among local population has been used time and again to hide failures of government. It stems from the single ideology to hijack the political sphere. The Bengalis in Bengal has been migrated to other states for better employment, social security and a better standard of living. The incidents of violence instill fear in the minds of the people from minority communities. What they fear most is the possibility of India turning into Hindu-Pakistan where the minorities would be tortured just like many Hindus in Pakistan were The recently concluded general elections in West Bengal were marked by violence as workers of various party clashed with each other. There are better ways to promote a language than to shove it down the throat of native speakers .People learn a language when there is economic benefit accruing from it .The fear of outsiders and how they can be used to stoke nativism among local population has been used time and again to hide failures of government

https://www.telegraphindia.com/india/bangla-pokkho-the-outfit-fighting-for-the-rights-of-bengalis/cid/1681567

In 2017 Bangla Pokko was formed a Bengali rights group against “Hindi imperialism” is gaining influence in West Bengal. In the 1960s an attempt was made to polarize voters with the campaign, “Amra Bangali” (We are Bengalis but that was rejected forthright by the Bengali society. Benefit for the son of soil may have run its course to fight Narendra Modi Opposition will have to find another trope. There are better ways to promote a language than to shove it down the throat of native speakers. People learn a language when there is economic benefit accruing from it .The fear of outsiders and how they can be used to stoke nativism among local population has been used time and again to hide failures of government.

Mamata Banerjee has to fight with BJP and win, she look at improving the state’s economy. As a democratically elected leader it’s her job to protect all citizens not threaten non Bengali ones. After all she should remember that the Constitution does not allow citizens to be discriminated against on the ground of language. As a rattled Mamata Banerjee and TMC prepare for 2021 assembly elections in the state she would do well to remember this lesson from history.

King Nero of Rome versus King Nero – Rahul Gandhi of Congress

0

It is mentioned in various writing that the King Nero of Rome was an unwise, unconcerned, and an irresponsible ruler.  Way back in July of 64 AD, the Rome was ravaged by a wild fire for six days, destroying over 70% of the city leaving half of its population homeless, food less… etc. While Rome was burning, its then king Nero was playing fiddle proving his indifference and immaturity to his position.

The recent actions of Rahul Gandhi, the president of congress party surfing his mobile phone while the President of India was addressing the joint session of the parliament and the dynast preventing his mother from clapping for the enormous bravery and dedication shown by our defence force in neutralizing the terror camps in Pakistan as a pre-emptive strike has evoked very disgusting public response about the dynast and his role as president of one of the oldest political parties in India.

The question of King Nero whether played fiddle while Rome was burning is still being debated and many people argue that fiddle as a musical instrument was not available in Rome those days.  Therefore many argue that the story of Nero is fictitious. The point of debate is not about whether Nero played fiddle when Rome was burning, but the King Nero of the congress party – the dynast Rahul Gandhi was indeed engaged in an action which was not appropriate and dignified of a person holding the position of president of congress party.

If the dynast had avoided attending the address of President of India during the joint session of the parliament, the criticism over the dynast would not have been this severe but having decided to attend and after occupying the front row, surfing his mobile phone when the President of India was praising and thanking our defence force is quite ridiculous.

Today congress party is like how Rome was under fire way back in 64 AD. The congress party has reached this situation not because of its corrupt rule alone but also due to the ineffective and immature Nero being made as the president of the party. Instead of owning the responsibility for the defeat and re-build the party, the Nero of the congress party appears to be further sinking the boat which has already started to sink.

There is no point in blaming the King Nero of congress party. The party must re-look at how it can be resurrected to some level of relevance by excluding Gandhi family. But most of the congress men appears to behave like iron filings and iron dusts that would naturally attract towards a magnet by treating Gandhi family as its magnet.

Attacking PM Modi, his honesty and personal integrity, corruption free governance, development centric vision, several of sab ka vikas initiatives by sitting in the cradle of scams and corruption allegations, sailing with the bail being granted to the dynast by a court in National Herald corruption case, by dividing Hindus through minority appeasement and dividing Lingayat in Karnataka and then attempting to caricature Modiji as divisive force, still the congress party is not learning its lesson. Even the defeat and rejection has not taught any wise lesson to the congress party. Whatever the number of seats the congress party has won this time as well as other tukede tukede gangs if not used responsibly in parliament debate and business, next parliament election, these parties may vanquish from Indian politics.

Need of the hour is that all opposition parties must offer their unconditional support to PM Modi to make India a great land, promote and perpetuate the good governance of PM Modi, engage in positive politics, infuse confidence and understanding among minority communities, all these things the opposition parties must do. But the dynast and other tukde tukde gangs even after such humiliating defeat like to engage in dirty politics than involving in nation building mission of Modi.

Hope that the King Nero of congress party would change and if not, the party should change the Nero and must move away from the dynastic culture to re-create its relevance in Indian politics.

Chennai restaurant thrashes man drinking 4 glasses of water for 2 idlis

0

Chennai. In a bizarre incident in Tamilnadu’s capital city, a man of mid thirties, Mr. Raman, was thrashed black and blue by the staff of a not so popular restaurant in the suburbs. The incident took place on Wednesday amidst the international media going high on the lowest water supply to the city’s everyday needs.

Raman reportedly reached the restaurant at 9 a.m. in the morning and ordered for 2 idlis. As is the custom to serve a glass of water to the guests first, the waiter promptly brought a glass of water, though the glass was half empty. Raman thanked the waiter and gulped the water with great interest and excitement in his eyes.

The waiter disappeared only to appear again soon enough to serve the 2 idlis with ‘Idli Powder’ and ‘Solid Chutney’ as side items. The Chutney was so dry and Raman needed more water to help with consuming the dry idlis and chutney. The waiter promptly pointed to the ‘Welcome’ board, which read ‘Only one Glass of Water per person and no Sambar’ underneath a popular movie Actor’s still from his latest release.

Raman cursed the waiter, the restaurant management, the Tamilnadu government, the movie Actor and the ancestors who invented chutney some 500 BC years ago. When somehow he managed to finish his breakfast and asked for the bill, the attack happened. The waiter noticed that the water he had served for a group of 3 more guests in the same table disappeared. When the 3 had gone to the ironically named ‘Wash room’ with no water, Raman suspected to have committed the crime.

Even as Raman protested repeatedly that he didn’t drink the water, the mob of waiters along with the help of other angry guests, had beaten him up. The thrashing continued until Raman demanded to ask the 3 other guests about what really happened. The mob took a break to find the truth directly from the 3 and they were not to be found. The waiters searched the small restaurant twice and found no trace of them.

When OP India reporter rushed to the spot, Raman was seen limping away from the restaurant, when the owner of the facility, busy in the phone, described in great detail to the local police about the external appearance of the thieves who stole 3 precious glasses of water from his restaurant. After stiff negotiations, he settled for 1 full glass of water to the police personnel for tracking down the thieves, it is learnt by OPIndia.

Will other Asian cricket team enter into last four?

0

The cricket world cup is reaching near another stage where the top four teams are to be declared on the basis of points. Our stronger team though concerned with middle order is well placed in the points tally. It will surely secure dominating place among the last four better teams. With 9 points in hands it holds solid position among the tally of ten cricket playing countries. What remains worth noticing is the number of countries in the Indian sub-continent coming to that vital stage after the completion of the round-robin clash.

Besides Indian cricket team, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan were too desperate to reach that promising round. As Pakistan has just registered its second remarkable victory over a tough team like South Africa, othe two Asian teams were also devising strategy for earning that particular prestigious spot in the 12th edition of the ICC World Cup ongoing in different parts of England.

Here, it cannot be neglected the aim of newly added Afghanistan which has gird its loins to check B’desh in the race. What remains most astonishing in the game is the near hopelessness of West Indies and emergence of New Zealand. The West Indians were champions in the past encounters. It has been well said that the game of cricket is full of unbelievable uncertaintaties. This tested aspect becomes apparent with Pakistan’s return to hopes for a berth in the pre-final clash. The latest 49-run triumph has led the Pak team captain Sarfraz Ahmad who was flayed for his failures against India, has come to equate Harris Sohail with Jos Butler. Fine & apt Performance changed the ascerbic reaction which was apparently evident.

Otherwise, it was the same team which licked defeat at the hands of our well-trained players. There has now ended the mark of better teams for at least a few cricket playing countries taking part at the present competition. There appeared nothing worse than unexpected poor performance on the English field. If the Afghan players did show their good playing abilities the rave spectators lauded it in a ample way.

The focus remains always on the performance and nothing else. The players definitely do come in to the spacious field for showing their excellent game. That’s what India at present is pondering over following exit of Dhawan owing to injury. Australia being the defending champion still is hopeful of retaining the title on the basis of its playing.

Where Rahul Gandhi errs, BJP gains

0

Little did Rahul Gandhi know of the reactions coming over his fiddling with the mobile during the President’s speech in the parliament. His every action is minutely seen by the ruling party members. Owing to this close study the Congress leader’s flaws came to the fore. The party loyalists intervened to clean their leader’s aberrations with the fresh clarifications. In the recent case, the party’s one important leader thought to rescue his young leader by saying that he was busy in finding out the meaning of complex Hindi words which were incomprehensible at the time.

If Rahul Gandhi was not serious at that particular time there would have been some reason behind his diversion from the speech. He seemed to have behaved like those students who more often remain disinterested in being attentive to the lecture in the class. They also show no marked liking at the debate competition at the school. Though the famed Gandhi scion has amply improved his political knowledge with the time, there is still a lot for him to learn, as opponents point out stressing that he must show his ingrained natural patience towards the political mannerism. The ordindary people like the type of  leaders who care for their well-being. But Rahul Gandhi’s efforts for the betterment of the farmers, labourers and the youths turn out redundant before his irresponsible actions. He should at least realize that he was in the public life so the balanced approach needs to be followed by him. He has of course blessed with nice manners but the stigma of being ‘Gandhi’ surrounds him every time. He disappoints by his flaws time and again.

He does what he pleases to do but he disappoints people by his own childish actions. He must not submit himself to the ruling party’s tricks thereby throwing himself to their continuous criticism. His one mistake enlivens the ruling party’s leaders and they begin to criticise him for anything that gives them opportunity to go against his weaknesses. It looks painfully awkward and even pitifully sad about everything when he had to face severe criticisms upon his odd actions. He has been continuously projected as naive politician and this image amply suits his opponents. He deserves what he aspires for in the politics but his failures are weakening him in the past. He should prove his political acumen only through his massive wins in the ensuing assembly elections.
