Article 370 and 35A revoked and some rumors spreading like wildfire

0

On 5th August 2019, history was rewritten in bold letters as the Home Minister Hon. Sh. Amit Shah announced that Article 370 and 35A will be revoked and two new Union Territories to be created by separating Ladakh from Jammu & Kashmir and both of them to become separate UTs.

While the news spread like wildfire thanks to social media, there was widespread joy all around. In a matter of hours it was clear that the people were happy with the Government and status updates and memes had started doing the rounds. No doubt, it required a lot of courage by the Centre and was a a brave step towards making it finally a ONE NATION.

However, the silent spectators soon became vocal as most found it misuse of democracy or unconstitutional. They found refuge in screaming how democracy had died and fascism was on the roll and one gentleman went onto warn his brethren of TN, AP and Kerela about their dark times ahead.

In a democracy which runs according to constitution the irony was lost on the dissenters that they were enjoying freedom of expression, a constitutional right. So why was this screaming going on about fascism? And demonising the PM was also being done more than freely.

However, the purpose here is to clear the misconceptions and fear.

First fact : Constitutionally the Government is well within its rights to do what it seeks to.

“A constitution amendment bill can be introduced in any house of the parliament. A bill for the purpose of amendment of constitution can NOT be introduced in any state legislature.

Prior recommendation of President is NOT needed in introducing the constitution amendment bills.

A constitution amendment bill must pass in both the houses separately by absolute + special majority {absolute → more than 50% of strength; special → 2/3 of present and voting}.

If there is a disagreement between the two houses on a constitution amendment bill, there is NO provision of joint sitting to resolve the deadlock.

The bills which result in some changes in the constitution but passed by simple majority are not deemed to be Constitution Amendments.

Once the bill is passed in both houses, the bill is sent to president for approval. The 24th Amendment Act of 1971 had made it obligatory for the President to give his assent to a constitutional Amendment Bill. Thus, for a Constitution amendment bill, a President can neither withhold his assent not return the bill for reconsideration.

Bills which result in changes but not deemed to be Constitution Amendment Bills.”

The extract of above clearly shows that there is a well defined process and it is being followed. This is NOT arbitrary in its nature.

So the charge of undemocratic procedures and dictatorship is not supported by facts.

Also an important fact , the Father of the Constitution, Dr. B.R Ambedkar was NOT in favour of Article 370.

Second Fact: The local Kashmiris fed on false propaganda since decades are apprehensive of their uncertain future. They take India to be a monster ready to gobble up their land and displace them.

While their fears and beliefs are unfounded, one must realise that their thought process cannot change in a day. A single minded and concerted effort will be required by the Central Government to make sure that the local population feels safe and secure first and immediate measures of economic and social infrastructure progress should be taken.

It is a tough road ahead to integrate the Kashmiris happily with the rest of the country. Tough and difficult yes, but definitely not impossible. Years of fear mongering will take some time to be washed off.

Integration is not just a word here. Its an ethos and the Government has to be patient , people have to be patient and above all the media has to behave responsibly and dignity.
A proper blue print is needed and I am certain it must be in place because its a step by step process to win the hearts and minds of the people living there. For them we are tbe enemy and that is a myth which for them has become the ultimate truth.

Third: While I do get the angst of the people who dissent with the Government and they are free to say so but kindly refrain from spreading lies, hate mongering, fear evoking updates on your twitter/FB accounts and journalism by dailies should definitely play their role in the state reconstruction and rebuilding process.

Rabble rousing has to stop. Why try to instigate the Southern states, religions and castes. Article 370 and 35A do not target any caste, creed or religion. There is no seizure of land from people living there. All it seeks to do is to provide them with same rights as the rest of India enjoys. RTI can be raised. Assembly for 5 years now instead of 6. Land by any Indian can be purchased. It will eventually benefit the economy as land prices will surge.

It is not the time to obstruct but to construct.

It is not the time to go overboard and expect miracles. It needs to be fast track yes, but steady too. And result oriented schemes.

It is the time to be fastidious and patient as we celebrate the Independence Day with a sense of honour,a patriotic spirit and above all a huge sense of responsibility.

This is just the beginning and we have promises to keep so each one of us has to travel miles before we sleep! Mr Modi has kept his word but the more difficult steps lie ahead. Its a time to bring a state till now being treated as an adopted child, to become a member of this enormously large family India.

Trifurcating Jammu & Kashmir: The road ahead

0

Some time back, I had written an article about the problems of delimitation which many consider a panacea for all ills plaguing J&K. I had then suggested a better way out: the trifurcation of the state into three parts—Jammu, Ladakh & Kashmir. I had also suggested how trifurcation could be a far quicker and simpler process than delimitation.

Imagine my surprise and delight, when on 5 August 2019, my wish came true. Almost. Article 35A was overwritten and Article 370 totally rendered useless. And, J&K was re-organised into two Union Territories; one of Ladakh without state assembly and another of Jammu and Kashmir with a state assembly.

Why UT? Because this allows the central government to micromanage things in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir directly. Till things improve. And control the bureaucracy and the police like they do in Delhi.

Remember, without the police or the IAS directly under the boots of the Abdullahs or the Muftis, their capacity to make money or create mischief will be severely limited. And, if any officer still misbehaves, he can always be sent to the kalapani, I mean, the Andaman & Nicobar Islands which is another UT.

RIP Jammu and Kashmir cadre then!

Ladakh, or at least Leh, is dancing with joy as this is what they had been demanding for so long.

Kashmiris will never be happy regardless of what you do or you don’t.

But what about the Jammu wallas? Why are they being forced to walk with the Kashmir albatross still around their necks? When is their demand for separate statehood going to be realised?

To me, it looks like that the Government is keeping J&K together for the time being because they wish to give delimitation a fair chance to succeed. So, 114 seats are allotted to the state assembly of J&K including 24 seats for POK. That leaves 90 seats, which if allotted in favour of Jammu and Kashmir regions in the ratio of 50:40 based on the 2011 Census, may work in the favour of a Jammu-dominated state government headed by a Jammu CM.

And if that experiment fails, you can always make Jammu into another state, and let Kashmir continue as a UT till they come to their senses.

What should then be the correct order of doing things?

In my humble opinion, these should be:

  1. Extend every Central Act to the UTs of J&K and Ladakh that is extended to all other states by deleting the lines that mention its inapplicability to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.
  2. Eliminate all references to “state subject” from every rule, regulation, and provision that will now operate in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh.
  3. Re-possess every inch of government land that has illegally or unjustifiably been occupied by the Abdullahs, Muftis, or any such family under the notorious “Roshni” or any such Act. This will immediately free up land parcels that can then be readied for investors whenever they decide to come to J&K.
  4. Establish safe enclaves throughout Kashmir with world-class infrastructure for resettling Kashmiri Pandits (and Jammu Dogras, West Pakistan refugees, and other brave Indians who wish to settle there). To start with, these should cover the whole of the LOC, up to may be 20 kilometres inside Kashmir, so that infiltration from Pakistan too is nipped in the bud right at the LOC. The facilities in these enclaves should be of such a standard that the left-out areas of Kashmir clamour to get themselves included in such enclaves. In due course, these enclaves should enlarge to encompass the whole of Kashmir Valley. The villages inside these enclaves may be allowed to remain where they are after being thoroughly sanitised and de-radicalised.
  5. Crack down on all illegal mosques and madrasas and de-radicalise their curricula. There are excellent deradicalization models working in Maharashtra and other states that J&K could do well to learn from.
  6. Invite scholars and investors to start centres and museums that preserve and highlight the Kashmiri pre-Islamic heritage of Shaivism and Buddhism.
  7. Make a ropeway on the Baltal route to the holy cave of Shri Amarnathji so that year-round traffic of tourists/pilgrims is made possible, as it happens in Vaishno Devi or Gulmarg.
  8. Invite investors who make use of Kashmir’s inherent strengths in tourism, horticulture, floriculture, and handicrafts to make world-class companies.
  9. Use Mr. Modi’s excellent rapport with the Chinese to open the Mansarovar route through Leh. Currently pilgrims wishing to go to Kailash-Mansarovar have to cross the Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand after trekking over a treacherous terrain for almost a month. This restricts the yatra to only the young and the physically fit. Compared to that, there is no trek at all if you go to Kailash-Mansarovar from Leh. So, a pilgrim can take a flight from Delhi and reach Leh in an hour. Then acclimatise for two days enjoying the sights and sounds and cuisine of Leh. And then take a vehicle, cross Demchok in Nyoma area and reach Kailash-Mansarovar in just two days. And technically, they can go on this route all-around the year, because there are no avalanches on the way. There is no snow either as it is all a cold, arid desert.

So far so good. But what happens now to the law and order situation in Kashmir?

Kashmiri separatists and leaders like Mehbooba Mufti won’t know what to do except mouth ad nauseam their broken records of Azaadi and Pakistan se Rishta kya? They have already threatened rivers of blood flowing on the streets of Kashmir. Or something like that.

Should we be scared of the possibility of such large-scale violence in Kashmir? To this, listen to what our fictional PM had to say to the J&K Governor in my book “Kashmir Is Free”.

“Kashmiris will be violent Monaliji … that’s a given, whether or not we do anything. But as a responsible government, we can’t keep the people of Jammu and Ladakh a hostage of the so-called Kashmiri sentiments, anymore.”

I wish Narendra Modi listens to this fictional PM Chiman Bhai Patel and seize this moment with both his hands.

And doesn’t let go till this festering sore is eliminated from the political landscape of India.

Kashmir, wake up, it’s a new morning

0

The Presidential order revoking Article 370 gave India an unprecedented leadership and a degree of autonomy over Kashmir, without any consent from the People in the Valley.

New Map Of J&K (Source: India TV)

In 2003, Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s pragmatic narrative on Kashmir, “Kashmiriyat, Insaniyat, Jamhooriyat (Inclusive of Kashmiri Values, Humanity and Democracy) became a “foundation for every force of reciliation in the state”.  A broad section of separatists today still remembers Vajpayee as someone who deeply felt from his heart what should be done to make Kashmir a bigger part of India.

In contrast, yesterday, the whole Nation reverberated in sync with a centralized sympathy, but we did miss out on an empathy. Can the process of how it’s done be blamed for that?

On 25th July Indian Ministry of Affairs ordered for deployment of 10000 paramilitaries and troops in the state. Government alerted the officials and ordered them to stock food and water. Soon the annual pilgrimage “Amarnath Yatra” was cancelled. This rang a bell in hearts of all Kashmiris. Government tried to rebuke the situation pointing out threats from Jaish-e-Muhammad, planning to attack the procession. A profound confusion and fear tore through the valley.

Similar gaslighting attempts is not something that Kashmiris are not accustomed to. Over the years such incidents of instigating pseudo terror have been tried a many time and even failed.

On the morning of 5th August, curfew was announced. Section 144 crPC was declared that shut down phone and internet modes of communication to the outside world. Once again Kashmir was closed down, like many a times in the past. My Kashmiri friends in Bangalore called me, hoping to get out of their traumatic experiences of trying to contact their families. I was as hopeless as the whole Nation, clueless about how the events are unfolding in the Valley, behind that Iron Curtain.

President Ram Nath Kovind issued a presidential order under Article 370 (1). The notification used the phrase “with the concurrence of the Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir”. This allowed the Government to bypass the fact that Kashmir has no State Legislature, and entitled the Governor who is administering the state under President’s Rule to speak for the Valley. Subsequently a few clauses were added to Article 367, or “interpretations” that deemed all references to the State Government shall mean the Governor. Most importantly Article 370(3) was amended which read “Constituent Assembly” shall be revered as “Legislative Assembly of the State.” And, as there is no Constituent Assembly, the State Assembly will take charge. Is amending Article 367 Constitutional? There is a still tinge of doubt on that.

The Leaders of the State were detained and subsequently put under house arrest. With no internal communication or consultation, the Governor now speaks for all the people in the Valley.

That sounds scary? It sure does.

In a spectacular fit of time, India now speaks for the lips of every Kashmiris that move in the Valley. I will pretend I can hear You, even though your whispers will perhaps never reach me. We just established the fact that Article 370, was a mere bridge that had stopped all developments in Kashmir, and Now, we Care for You.

But do we?

Scrapping Article 35A allows me to acquire a land now, and thus make Kashmir an “Occupational Territory”, but does that promise concrete developments that we have promised Kashmir decades back? To remind you, we still can’t acquire land in Dubai or Himachal Pradesh. Or as a thought experiment, it that another way of ethnic cleansing?

6th August at the Parliament, BJP MP say, “Jawaharlal Nehru forced Article 370 on India.” Why does everything get so political when we try to tear through a solution on humanitarian grounds? Maybe, Kashmir is to us, what Palestine is to Israel.

Article 370 had to go. And the Government did it.

This bold move holds strong potential to build a better India, that I will leave it to your Optimism. The Cons are validated by the innate practicality we all live in. It’s a difficult thing to theorize and visualize both at the same time, and they will differ. Shed the thought, “Kashmir is not Ours.” We need to understand their voices, respect their dignity to win over the beautiful valley of Dreams.

The art of consent that Vajpayee had reminded us of, molded to our Nationalist Ideologies, Kashmiriyat and Insaniyat stands tall, His Jamhooriyat seems crumbling.

As the Valley still lies unreachable and shackled, we all hope to see a beautiful sunrise soon.

Bharat is whole at last

0

For some of those born between our Independence and the middle 80’s, the idea of Jammu and Kashmir was it’s beauty and wonderful locales. But the most important aspect that none could understand was, why was the valley, rich in heritage and beauty and history alienated from the rest of our country, when in truth they share their roots with us?

I remember watching the wonderful mesmerizing locales from the movie Roja while listening to the soulful music of A.R. Rehman as the State of Kashmir was so beautifully and aesthetically captured by the maverick director Mani Ratnam. The movie also showed us the dark underbelly of Terrorism and how Kashmir was so caught up in it. It felt like Kashmir was Bharat and not Bharat at the same time. It begged the question, why was Kashmir so different from the rest of the country?

The answer was, how as kids we weren’t taught to understand the Constitution, the meaning of which was so clearly entrenched in it’s wording, that the constitution of India doesn’t apply for the State of Jammu and Kashmir through a provision inserted by a Presidential order, which again was only meant to be temporary. That is where the root cause of all the troubles besieging the state of Jammu and Kashmir lay. I mean if Bharat as a whole is the body, then Kashmir was its head and here we were saying the head was independent to not follow the rest of the body. What was the then PM thinking when he came up with this ludicrous idea only he can tell but the introduction of Article 370 was the grossest injustice that our former PM has done to this country and more importantly the thousands of people of Kashmir, who have lost their lives and thousands more who were displaced.

It took us 70 long years to undo a glaring wrong and a monumental mistake committed by our leaders of the past but finally that day has come and it isn’t a day too soon. For the people of the valley and the Kashmiri Pandits who were brutally killed, raped and booted out of their own homes and the thousands of others, who have lost their lives due to mindless and politically motivated terrorist killings, today is the day, when they have truly been liberated from the yokels of political dynastic tyranny.

As our Home Minister Shri Amit Shah so rightly pointed out during his reply in the Rajya Sabha yesterday on the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Bill, the people of the valley have been systematically alienated from the rest of the country and have been deprived of the most basic of needs by three dynasties for close to 70 years and it is time they right that wrong. The moment has indeed come for the State of Jammu and Kashmir to fully embrace democracy and be a part of a United India as they embrace the Indian Constitution.

Yes, there will huge uproar and outcry. Just remember, that lament does not come from the people of the valley but from the corrupt and unscrupulous elements of the valley, whose ways have finally been numbered. The attempt to tear up the constitution of India by some members of the PDP is a case in point. Our Home Minister is a crafty man and he is exactly what our country needs. We all know how he has thrived in political adversity and in tandem with Shri Narendra Modi has scripted the rise of BJP throughout the country. But we should also understand that he is as much a brilliant thinker as he is a master political strategist.

Before introducing the bill, he has ensured that peace is not disturbed in the valley by deploying 40000 additional troops to the valley along with cancelling the yearly piligrimages as there was already a terror threat to disrupt the Yatras. He also has put under house arrest the three leaders from the dynasty to ensure that their voice of provocation for their own political gains does not take the lives of innocents of the valley all in the matter of one week. He knows what he is doing and therefore one has to hail his commitment towards finally putting an end to the disastrous and monstrous Article 370. The valley will have peace at last and Pakistan’s attempt to divide the youth of the state has finally been struck a death blow.

Just imagine what the present administration has done in its second stint so far. They have made two big bang legislations that have held back this country for 70 years. While the Triple Talaq Bill will finally address the issue of gender inequality and the rights of a Muslim women, who were for so long subjugated by an archaic practice, thus empowering them to succeed, the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act along with the abrogation of the draconian Article 370 will empower the people of the valley. Finally the head is in sync with the rest of the body and now our Bharat can truly march towards our 75th year of Independence with our heads held high and in the race to be the best in the world.

I have been seeing so many people of our country rejoice with joy and happiness after the news of the abrogation of Article 370 reached them. I am one of them and so was my Akka and many others like us. One can’t truly express in words the joy it felt to be a part of this day. We couldn’t wait to call the people we love to tell them the news, just in case they haven’t heard it. And in case they did hear about it, to share in the joy of being part of something so monumental. And finally the true meaning of it all really hit me. Kids in school will no longer need to be confused when it came to our Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Because now they follow the same constitution as the rest of our country and they are now well and truly a part of us. No more special provisions and no more Article 370.

We as a nation never lacked in moral superiority or intellectual authority. But we have been dragged down due to years of infighting, corruption, discrimination and gender inequality. Today is the day we can finally say we are a whole again. There are still some minor and major kinks that need to be worked out, as every great nation does if we are to be the best. Therefore now is the time we need to work together because my dear brothers and sisters there can never be a better time to be a part of history than now and today.

Blessed are we to have seen this day, for remember the sacrifices of our ancestors who dreamt of this very day, when Bharat is whole again. Jai Hind.

A historic day no one thought they would ever witness: The End of Article 370!

0

Finally! Modi government has done what it was elected to do in the first place. To correct one of the biggest blunders committed by the leadership of India at the time of independence. It took 5 years but Modi government finally did what they promised their voters at the time of the election. And they did it so smoothly that no one knew what they were up to until they actually did it.

Jammu & Kashmir joined the Union of India by signing the Instrument Of Accession on 26th October 1947 after the invasion by the Pakistan sponsored Pashtoon tribe in return for military assistance. The leadership at that time accepted to give J&K a special autonomous state status, many including B.R. Ambekar and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee were against this demand but few prominent leaders including Jawahar Lal Nehru accepted it and created article 370 in the Indian Constitution of India which was a mini-constitution in itself. And from that time, Kashmir has remained like a useless limb of India which has always been infected by the Islamic militancy and jihadist mentality.

But from today, all this is going to change. Article 370 which provide autonomous status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir is finally scraped with a presidential order and has been dumped into the history books. Jammu & Kashmir will now be bifurcated into two union territories, one will be Ladakh which will help the people of that region to finally get free from the shackles of a failed state and will be able to put forward their aspirations directly to the central government while another union territory will be of Jammu & Kashmir which will have its own legislatures like Delhi and Puducherry. This will result in a reduction of the number of states from 29 to 28 and an increase in Union Territories from 7 to 9.

New Map Of J&K (Source: India TV)

This news has sent pseudo-liberals and Anti-Modi low IQed Intelligentsia into a meltdown. And soon it will give sleepless nights to all the Kashmiri separatists as this Bill has not only made article 370 ‘cease to exist’ but has also turned these separatists into some of the most irrelevant people of the country.

The region of Jammu & Kashmir and its common people have long suffered due to this article which has halted their development for decades. Further, it has been a motivating force for the separatists and a way to brainwash the youth into thinking that Kashmir should be a separate country. J&K is a very large state which includes the region of Jammu, Ladakh, and Kashmir, but most of the problem is concentrated in the valley of Kashmir where separatists brainwash the youth and fund them to pelt stones on the Indian Army. Pakistan funded organizations turn them into Islamic terrorists to wage jihad on India.

In the valley, Hindu Kashmiri Pundits were massacred by the jihadist in the 1990s, men were killed, their women were raped and even Hindu children were not spared. Kashmiri Hindus were forced to leave the valley and became refugees in their own country with no one there to listen to their voices, not even the so-called Supreme Court of India. Kashmiri Pandits waited for the justice they deserved and it has finally arrived after three decades. Kashmir valley is suffering from Islamic radicalization. ISI flags are being hosted on the rooftops. Mosques have become a hub of brainwashing and radicalizing the youths of the valley. Ancient Hindu history and temples are being desecrated and Pakistan sponsored Kashmiri separatists are demanding for the Islamic Republic. BUT NOT ANYMORE!

Raliv, Chaliv , ya Galiv!” which meant “either mixup (with Muslims by accepting Islam), or flee (the holy Islamic Kashmir), or dissolve or die!

-Slogan raised by Islamist against the Kashmiri Hindus

In coming years things are going to change for good. J&K turning into a union territory will help the center to gain a stronghold in the region with the police and other departments under its home ministry. Soon the jihadist and the Islamic terrorist in the valley will be taken care of and our Kashmiri Pandits will be rehabilitated to their rightful lands in peace. People from other states would also be able to start their businesses and invest in the region, due to which the economy of J&K will flourish.

While the liberals will be delivered their fair share of Burnol to heal their burn wounds, the separatists will be given the treatment they deserved in the first place. My advisory to a common Kashmiri would be to cooperate with the forces and authorities and maintain peace in the valley, further they must help with the transition of Kashmir from a failed and radicalization infected state into a prosperous union territory and part of India.

What is “Special”?

0

It is an undisputed fact that the Modi government has been undoing many a blunders of the Congress government, one by one, and the move to fully integrate Jammu & Kashmir is the one which deserves the maximum praise. In our daily life, we come across so many issues which are characterized by a particular term and we tend to accept that without questioning. This is essentially the crux of the problem for the people not realizing the intricacies of the issue and getting carried hoodwinked by vested interest. The so called “Special Status” for J&K is one such issue.

What is the Special Status? There is a separate Constitution, Flag, Criminal Procedure Code, Prime Minister, President (the last two items not in vogue anymore) and so on. Why this special status was conferred to J&K in the first place? This is the question we failed to ask and find answers to.

It is said that Kashmiris feared that their identity and culture would be overrun by “Indians” and in order to protect their identity and culture, they do not want Indians into J&K except as tourists. This seems a genuine concern, to some extent, until the real reasons are brought into light. Tweeting about the reorganization of J&K re-organization bill, Mehbooba Mufti, one of the few families that were exploiting the people of Kashmir over generations, lamented “GOIs intention is clear & sinister. They want to change demography of the only Muslim majority state in India, disempower Muslims to the extent where they become second class citizens in their own state”. It is clear that nobody is talking about “Kashmiri Culture” for quite a long time and everyone is worried about religious identity only. Mehbooba is worried about Muslims being reduced to a Minority in the so called only Muslim majority state in India. Does it occur to anyone that how could there be a classification based on religion in a “Secular Country” like India?

In a secular setup, there cannot be any identity based on religion, as far as a province is concerned but this is what keeps the families ticking in J&K. Except for J&K, Muslims are in a minority in every State and UTs of India but far from being second class citizens, as Mehbooba would want us to believe, they are the most powerful group religiously what with every other party vying with each other to pamper them.

If J&K is to be accepted as the only Muslim majority State in India and this has to be protected, why cannot this be applied to India as a whole and India classified as the only Hindu majority nation in the world and take all steps to protect the Hindu majority from diminishing?

While we, from states or UTs other than J&K cannot work or settle there, Kashmiris are settled all over the country and doing business, since opportunities are very limited in J&K. In Spencer Plaza in Chennai, one of the famous malls here, there are some Kashmiri shopkeepers and one of them was telling a reporter that he was sad that the status they enjoyed for decades had been taken away in a jiffy. The shopkeeper also added that he was married and owned a house in Chennai.

The motive behind the “Special Status” is not culture or identity but only religion is there for everyone to see but we failed miserably in identifying it. While Kashmiris are settled all over the country, unless they reveal their identity, we will not be able to identify them as Kashmiris. Anyone can easily identify a Tamil or a Malayalee or a Telugu or a Bihari neighbor from their language, rituals, festivals, food habits etc but you cannot identify a Kashmiry by any of these. Then, where is the Kashmiri identity then? It is only the religious identity, masquerading as Cultural identity.

If people from other states, who have much in common with the Kashmiris, migrating to J&K will destroy the cultural identity of Kashmir, what about Rohingyas, who have nothing in common with the Kashmiris, except for being Muslims? Why should the Kashmiris, read the exploiting families calling themselves mainline political leaders, welcome the Rohingyas and accommodate them? Will it not affect their culture or identity? Thus, it is obvious now that the only identity is religion and the Kashmiri politicians are against secularism and rabid religious fundamentalists.

If J&K wants to remain a Muslim majority state in a Secular country, it is like an oxymoron. Either J&K has to forget its religious identity or else India has to become a Hindu Rashtra. There is no place for a State or UT based on a religious identity in a secular nation and this is sought to be corrected by the historic J&K re-organization bill passed in the Rajya Sabha on the 05th of August 2019.

The bogey of terrorism or uprising of people will not be of any use anymore. The cowards who had been exploiting the people for their self-interests will be thrown into the dustbins of history by the Kashmiris and like everyone else, the ordinary Kashmiri wants Roti, Kapda aur Makaan, like any other human anywhere in the world.

Barkha Dutt has just crossed all levels of decency and one can now call her India Hater.

You can hate Modi, I can understand.

You can hate Amit Shah and I can understand.

But how can you hate your own country?

Barkha Dutt has recently crossed all limits of decency when she went on Al Jazeera channel and started spurting out hateful venom against the Prime Minister.

Just watch the video below to know what she said.

So she thinks that Modi had sent thousands of Armymen, went through a political hell and scrapped Article 370, which was detrimental to Kashmir’s progress and was the main reason for terrorist activities, and she thinks that he did this entire thing so that he could make a speech on 15th August on Lal Quilla.

How petite is her thinking! What is going on inside her small brain?

One doesn’t cancel Amarnath Yatra, locate thousands of army men in a state and put the entire country in a state of anticipation of what is going to happen next just so that he can make a speech on Independence day.

But then I agree with her midset to some extent. It is not her fault.

We have never had any politician for a very long time who selflessly did something for the country without any ulterior motives.

I can understand her desperation to find some ulterior motives behind this selfless move of Modi and Shah.

It is not that she is trying to belittle this entire act which is the problem, the problem comes when she starts to provoke the Us president Trump by telling the channel that she thinks that Modi and Shah scrapped the articles to irk Trump because they hate him.

Here, she is not talking like an Indian, she is talking like how Pakistani Media was talking yesterday.

Is she getting paid by them?

I won’t go that far.

But I will say that after what she has said she does not have the country’s best interest in her mind.

There is something wrong with her and there is something very wrong with her mindset to come up with something like this because it shows how much she really cares about India and it’s people and she wouldn’t mind if her own countrymen get into trouble by irking a superpower whose President is known for making decisions based on his TV show  experience.

Was Sonia Gandhi excited or perplexed, sycophants have a different story for you

0

The blatant admission of the leader of congress party in parliament Mr. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury about whether the point of debate on scrapping of article 370 is an internal matter or an international matter has taken the party to the greatest heights of joke and ignorance.

It is so unfortunate that the congress party has exposed its Achilles point that it is not limited to its heels alone but is distributed throughout its body. Even if the congress leader has not prepared well but wants to follow the party line and oppose BJP, PM Modi, Amit Shah and the move to paralyze article 370, how the congress leader can raise his doubt whether the issue is internal or international?

What is the real understanding of the congress party about India?

But the other interesting twist of the tale is that the sycophants however want to protect the dynast and his mother Sonia Gandhi and squirrely wants to shift the entire blame on Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.

To any untutored eyes, Sonia Gandhi’s initial expression to the question of Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury whether the matter is internal or international, looks excited full of happiness. It looks like Sonia Gandhi was excited by the debate and oratory skills of Adhir Ranjan. But the self-goal put by Adhir Ranjan to congress party was quickly noticed and catapult by Honourable Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and questioned how congress party can afford to ask such question and speak the line of separatists and Pakistan. Such question of Amit Shah only looks like had woken up Sonia Gandhi from a state of excitement to a state of perplexity. Until then the expressions of Sonia Gandhi was like she had not noticed the self-goal of Adhir Ranjan and how ignorant he was in participating the debate without any understanding about the subject.

The sycophants want to shield both the dynast and his mother Sonia Gandhi that they were very upset at the ignorance of Adhir Ranjan and do not endorse his statement. The best part of the issue is that until our Honourable Home Minister Amit Shah punctures hole in the point of congress party, neither Adhir Rajan nor Sonia Gandhi was aware of the implications and consequences of the above statement and how ignorant was congress about Shimla agreement signed by Indira Gandhi the then prime minister of India and the first dynast of Nehru-Gandhi family.

Shimla agreement clearly defines what is internal, bilateral and international explicitly which the congress party guided by the dynast of today appears to have no clue about.

The problem of congress party is not just ignorance, lack of preparedness or casual approach towards politics but indeed the real problem of congress party is its entitlement. Most of the leaders of the congress party are dynasts of first or second or third generation. All of them have come to power due to entitlement and so was Nehru – Gandhi family that ruled India so long.

Reality of the present day Indian politics is hard to comprehend for the congress party as the party is so intoxicated by its entitlement politics. Besides that, the members of the congress party is also so bound to the ethos of sycophancy and it appears they can even live for months to years without breathing or food but cannot live even for a day without praising the family.

No one wants to blame the family for the catastrophe in parliament but wants to blame Adhir Ranjan and protect the dynast and his mother. They want to redefine the excitement of Sonia Gandhi as dismay and disapproval because such redefinition suites well to promote the glory and intelligence of the family.

It is so unfortunate that the party that ruled India for so long has reduced to this level because of its hatred for PM Modi and BJP. Hate Modi and embrace entitlement politics which is sandwiched by ignorance, inefficiency, dynastic culture etc., are eroding the congress party from within. The enemy of congress party is not outside but is present inside the party.

Look at the way several new generation congress leaders have reacted to the scraping of article 370. Most of them welcomed it. India as a whole welcome the bold stand taken by PM Modi and so are the people of J&K and Ladhak. When India progress and prosper, congress wants to pull the country to black hole of regressive politics and minority appeasement.

PM Modi and Amit Shah have already entered the history by changing the political narratives of India towards development, sab ka vikas and one India. Every Indian should offer their unconditional support to PM Modi to make India a great land and eliminate all dynastic political parties and tukde tukde gangs that wants to destabilize India.
