Internet image

Khilafat movement and the Kerala Hindu genocide

0

I broach this subject as it rages on in Kerala after a filmmaker decides to eulogize and make a hero out of the worst ethnic cleansing Kerala ever witnessed.

The Khilafat Movement was a power struggle happening 5000 kilometers away, post World War 1 realignment between the victor and vanquished axis of powers where Turkey ended up in the loosing side. Individual countries sick and tired of the overbearing Caliphate slave traders and tax master took the opportunity to declare themselves independent from the Khalifa’s hegemony. From Syria and Yemen among others to Egypt and Morocco, all were clear on their intent to have a local government ruled by their own natives.

The only people against this breakup and localization of native government was the Turkish Khalifa and few Indian Mullas – powerful, networked and close to Gandhi. Isn’t it hilarious that India which had no connection other than limited trade should jump into this melee of a struggle for self-determination several thousand kilometers away!

The Muslims were always looking for “kingdom come” in this case the Caliphate. From a roaring business of slaves and spices and a benign Hindu population in the western coast of India for close to 400 years of luxury to suddenly the European hegemony of the seas and trade, the Indian Muslims had become a bedraggled lot by the end of the 18th century. The rich Arabs had intermarried with the Hindu woman and produced their progeny who were called Mopilahs. Overtime their population went through good times with Hyder and Tipu in their renegade army and; in the worst of times as menial labor, petty thieves and touts as they did not have any specific skills. By the end of the 19th century they had spread deep and across Malabar area with their own ghettos.

So the question is that, something which even Jinnah brushed off as an irrelevant discussion, why did it entice Gandhi to encourage and join a religious and autocratic Khilafat Movement? Why did he find the Jallianwala Bagh event a small local event in comparison to Khilafat during the initial period? Why these double standards on apparently what exactly he was fighting in India; he was supporting in Turkey? “If the Caliphate disappears Islam will loose its vitality” and “We are in the shadow of calamity” Gandhi thundered in his meetings in support of the movement with hawks like Ali Brothers and Moulana Mohani types looking on who in Gandhi’s own recorded statement were ‘Jewels of India’.

Of course this “love” was never reciprocated with them calling Gandhi a “chalak Bhaniya” and “the lowliest of the low uncouth muslim is a better person than Gandhi”, says the Ali Brothers, Quotes Ambedkar. Yet Gandhi says “When I met Mohammed Ali, it was love at first sight!”. From Ambedkar to Anne Besant writes with deep sorrow on the atrocities against Hindu woman during that time. From approx. Aug 1921 the genocide and rape started and Gandhi is quoted as saying “Moplah’s are bold god fearing people fighting against atrocities which is as per their religion…” and should be respected. Gandhi suggested that all Hindus handover their valuable and land to Muslims to help in the Turkish movement.

The answer lies in a) his misplaced priorities and lack of understanding of ground realities of India. Travelling the length and breadth of India is not living the lives of a country as varied as India. He failed as a champion of India and waded into minority politics which gave significant impetus to the break up of India. It was one thing fighting apartheid in South Africa and something completely different bringing about a coherent plan to oust British from India and as he blundered on as pro and anti British, he was called out several times by Bose, Ambedkar and Savarkar. b) The word Khalifat was mistaken for Khilaf (against) and lot of people jumped in thinking this is a movement against the British not understanding that Khalifat had no connection to India. Hindus and Muslims contributed unaware, the Angora Fund meant for the safety of Turkey was collected and sent to Constantinople of 375,000 Turkish liras from India to help Turkish coffers. c) His pedigree as a lawyer came from representing a Muslim client right from the time of his stint in South Africa and an influence in his loyalty. Infact Anne Besant says that Gandhi even went on to say that ‘he will support the Afghanistan Emir invading India to be liberated and become part of the Emirs Kingdom’. This irresponsible decision making is still beset in the current Congress dispensation.

It’s the first time in India’s history that Indians start killing Indians without any reason or provocation. When hordes of marauders take up arms inexplicable to a local Hindu population. There is no equivalence anywhere in the annals of world history on the sheer barbarity of crimes which took place. A surprised Hindu population was stunned into silence and a deep loathing and distrust for every north Indian politician set in. A tag which even now the likes of BJP is not able to shake off. Successively a naxal and communist movement only solidified the impotence of the north Indian ruling elite full of rewards to the minorities. This violence was somuch so that letters were written to the British Queen for help. It continued unabated for 2 months. Temples looted, Temple cows slaughtered, the entrail remains thrown into wells along with infants and half dead men and raped woman’s garments collected by the Muslim woman as they were paraded naked in the villages. 10,000 dead and half a million displaced in this tragic mayhem, can India and Kerala specifically forget this tragedy not so far back in history? It had – in Kashmir!

Less than 100 years old it is important to realize the role of Gandhi in Khilafat Movement. Even as AdiShankara who should effectively be called the father of India in uniting the 4 corners of Bharat is not venerated in India, mere mortals influenced by the vagaries of laokik life should not attain the post of Guardianship of independent India, which was in fact majorly won by the work of Subash Chandra Bose.

Treacherous China

0

Firstly let me be upfront that I am no expert in defence analytics or military intelligence and hence what I am writing here is simple observations that I have made in the last few weeks. The recent bloody combat that happened in Galwan valley wherein 20 of our brave soldiers were martyred has shaken the consciousness of our people and converted it into a resolve to teach China a lesson. Already I can see conscientious Indians boycotting the Chinese products be it digital or brick & mortar and hence setting in the economic response to the Chinese aggression.

Economic response is something that will hurt China most, not just as a country but also its ruling communist party (CPC) very badly. The reason for that is, just like most businesses in Pakistan are owned by the ISI and military regime, in China most businesses are owned by the politburo members. While the effects of this to show might take some time, but the process is already set in motion and it will create a lot of dissent in CPC too. Though this is a pertinent topic to probe further but what I wanted to write here is about the actual Chinese ambush on our braves in Galwan.

Most reports, Indian as well as global have reported that the number of PLA soldiers involved in the ambush outnumbered the Indian soldiers. And the ratio was minimum of 5 PLAs to 1 Indian soldier. Some global reports are saying that the PLAs outnumbered Indian soldiers by 10 to 1. This was well planned ambush in such a way that it is instigated when the light is bad and visibility is low, the Chinese have fortified themselves with additional troops around the ambush site, the Chinese have come armed with clubs, rods, spike gloves, barbed clubs and stones so that the surprise element is huge and casualties are maximum in the ambush.

Yet if you read about the casualties, 20 Indian soldiers are martyred and the PLA has lost more than 40 ambushers, apparently these are special forces trained in the ambush kind of murderous operations. Some reports have put the PLA casualties at much higher. Just statistically speaking you had 5 PLAs to 1 Indian soldier involved in the ambush on a lower estimate and you had at least 2 PLA deaths to 1 Indian soldier martyred. Now if you do simple statistical extrapolation to compare just the hand combat capabilities of the Indian soldier to PLAs, it accounts to 10 PLAs equal to 1 Indian soldier. So there seems to be a huge asymmetry in the capabilities of the two sides with Indian army coming out as much stronger.

This is purely statistical, to that if you add the other factors such as sheer numbers, ambush site knowledge and preparedness, the environmental conditions and weaponry that was treacherously used by PLA in contravention to the earlier agreements, Indian soldiers have performed way beyond these statistical numbers too. So PLA and their political leadership should be extremely worried.

Global Times, the mouthpiece of Chinese Government before the Galwan ambush was talking that “If India does not back off, China will inflict heavy losses on India”. But the headlines after the ambush were totally changed and the headlines read something like, “India will have to face war on three fronts”. If not nervousness, what else can you call it?

Have the Indian soldiers given a trailer of what is to come for Chinese if they don’t back off from this or any other misadventure? China wanted to inflict heavy casualties with this ambush to deter Indian soldiers and Government from defending its borders. But did we inadvertently inflict a very strong and unpleasant lesson on China and the PLA instead?

It certainly seems so, because they have already started activating their agents in India such as Congress party, Communists, leftists, so called intellectuals, their pliant journalists and media networks to bring down the morale and resolve of our soldiers and the government. In any case the Chinese and PLA are not going to play fair, including using the river waters as weapon during future conflicts and dishonoring the agreements because they are not professional but a rogue army. Hence India’s brave have to be ever vigilant. Our braves and the Government are already fighting a war on several fronts including with many internal enemies as the over-the-ground agents and supporters of China but the people of this country stand firmly behind our forces.

The victory will always be India’s with such brave and honorable soldiers defending its lands in accordance with Dharma. We are proud and very grateful to you.

Vande Mataram, Jai Bharath and Jai Jawan.

Coronil and controversy

0

As you might know that there are claims being made by Patanjali about having manufactured a cure for the COVID-19. Soon after the claims, I saw a huge public outcry and severe backlash against Baba Ramdev and Patanjali on all the social media platforms. The criticisms were mainly coming from two groups of people, first one was coming from the people who fundamentally had a problem with Baba Ramdev being a Hindu monk. I personally have no problem with these people. I always expect this group to act in the same manner. The second group was of Hindus who were of the belief that ‘If the West couldn’t manufacture the medicine how the hell can we?’, it is with this logic I have problem with.

This statement clearly shows how we Indians think and feel for ourselves. The inferiority complex we carry, proves that even after decades of independence, we aren’t capable of thinking that we are a civilization and a nation that has the potential to manufacture and invent something that the West hasn’t. If you were to go by the previous logic given by the people, then Yoga and Ayurveda shouldn’t have been invented or discovered by India in the first place itself, because the West couldn’t do it.

The idea of a White Man or a White Nation being superior than us, is the fundamental problem that has led to dissatisfaction and doubt among Indians. The difficulty of R&D in India should be evident by volume of Brain drain that’s happening, no capable scientists stay in the nation, due to unavailability of a research environment, lack of better lifestyle and monetary incentives, so, you can imagine how hard it is for those scientists who stay in the Nation and work for the Indian corporates like Patanjali.

The medicine becoming successful or not is secondary, at least the attempt of our Scientists is praiseworthy, blind criticism of the Scientists and other the top minds would do no good to the society and the nation. We need to acknowledge that we were a civilization of seekers, we have innumerable feathers in our cap, may it be Spirituality or Sciences, we have had many great brains then, why can’t we have today? You are free to criticize Baba Ramdev and Patanjali, but the demeaning comments that are directed towards the Scientists and the Scientific capability of this Nation proves why, we as a Nation haven’t achieved great feats in modern times.

Shyama Prasad Mukherjee ideological school vs leftist

Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was bro on 6th July 1901 in Calcutta, He enrolled as an advocate the year 1924. in 1937 he won elections for the first time. In the year 1941 he became Finance minster of Bengal province under the govt of AK Fazlul Haq’s Progressive Coalition Government. In the year 1942 several floods caused huge loss of life and property, the government was silent on the flood situation and was not helping its citizens, above that no one was permitted to enter or exit the province due to the shameless act of government, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee broke the rule and entered Midnapore district to help citizens, but he got arrested even though he was a minister. H was not given chance to help citizens so he resigned on 17h Nov 1942.

After resignation he became spokesperson of Nationalist India and had great influence on citizens. In the year 1943 more than 45 lakh people died of hunger but the government did NOTHING. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee along with Mahabodhi society, Ramkrishna mission and Marvadi relief society did a phenomenal job by collecting food and money from different parts of India and distributed in Bengal. When decision of partition was taken he went to Gandhi ji and also educated citizens that entire punjab, Assam, Bengal was given to Pakistan. It was because of him that half Punjab, entire Assam, half Bengal is today part of India.

He was made Minister of Industry and Supply in 1st Indian Government. In 1.5 Yes of his tenure he great job by setting up factories of 1) Air Ships at Bangalore 2) Ships at Visakhapatnam 3) Railway engines at Chitranjan. As India’s 1st Industrial Minister he kicked off Indias industrial development with a great success. In the year 1950 huge atrocities were done on minorities and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee requested Indian government to take action on these but Indian govt did not take any step. Because of which he resigned the 1st Government over Ideological war. He was the 1st minister to resign from the government of Independent India. He formed Bhartiya Jan Sangh in the year 1951. As an opposition his speeches were talk of the town and was known as LION OF INDIAN PARLIAMENT. He wrote several letters to Prime Minister Nehru and advised him not to take issue of Kashmir Lightly. Illegal immigrants starred pouring in from Pakistan to Kashmir, protests started against then Kashmir govt, 2500 protestors were arrested. As he was crossing the bridge on the river Ravi while going towards Kashmir, he was arrested by police and was taken to Srinagar. He gave up food and water, he breath his last on 23 June 1953. Slogan which was stared by Indian Citizens and a movement started against Kashmir issue. We had this leader who gave his life for National Integrity and security, he always kept nation above everything.

On the other hand we have brainwashed youths like Shrjeel Imam who say… “If five lakh people are organised, we can cut off the northeast and India permanently. If not, at least for a month or half a month. Throw as much ‘mawad’ (variously described as pus or rubbish) on rail tracks and roads that it takes the Air Force one month to clear it. “Cutting off Assam (from India) is our responsibility, only then they (the government) will listen to us. We know the condition of Muslims in Assam….they are being put into detention camps,”

The torch bearer of break India Camp Kanhaiya Kumar said ‘Bharat Tere Tukde Honge, Inshallah’ not only this, these kids are so brainwashed that they say “ham kya chahte, azaadi. Ham kya chahte, azaadi. Afzal tere khoon se, inqelaab ayega. Afzal tere khoon se, inqelaab ayega. Afzal ham sharminda hai, tere kaatil zinda hai.” Other narratives given were as- ‘Indian Army pe halla bol, CRPF pe halla bol, Afzal har ghar se niklega, Bharat ki barbadi tak jung rahegi jari, Kashmir ki azadi tak jung rahegi jari, Bharat ke iss mulk ko ek jhatka aur do’ THESE BRAINWASHED KIDS want to divide India on any circumstances.

We live in a society where both ideologies live, one of make India, another with Break India narrative. Its upon the citizens to decide and mainly the youths have to choose the right path to lead India. Nation is above all.

Intellectual Lynching, frustration and suffocation

As soon as the news about Sushant Singh Rajput passing away broke out, depression, mental health became the hot topic. Nepotism, his relationships, his financial condition, him losing movies, him feeling left out or him being treated as an “outsider” are being speculated as some of the potential reasons.

Holding these reasons accountable for his demise make him not only look weak but also a coward. A large number of people fail in their relationships, many don’t even have relationships, many have terrible financial conditions, many face discrimination on a regular basis but they don’t kill themselves. Do they?

It is like calling out rats, lizards and cockroaches and saying “they swallowed the man” when there is a freaking dinosaur sitting right there in the very same room. No body is even looking towards the dinosaur, may be if they point a finger, the mighty creature might very well eat them.

If you go through his filmography, you would right away see that nepotism could not be the reason. I will come up with a separate article proving why these reasons are flawed. The reasons highlighted by media be it social or mainstream are mere instruments to divert the attention from that dinosaur.

What is being concealed?

Before I tell you the answer to this question, let me share with you my blogging experience for the last three years. Trust me it is relevant to this Dinosaur.

Almost three years ago I started writing. Since I was new to blogging, I looked up different content publishing sites catering to Indian audience. I observed something weird, the content on these platforms was highly biased, left leaning and I did not agree with them. Quite surprising to me was that those articles were submitted by individuals who had nothing to do with any major media house or political party. I wondered why there is little or no reliable content on these sites, narrating a version that I can agree with and believe in. I went through the editorial guidelines of each of these platforms and they all claimed that they were neutral or supported the centrist, rational view of things. I thought since I don’t agree to a lot of things there, I should express my views on the same things and see how it goes. I can’t possible be wrong on everything that I believe in.

And here it all began. Here I will be quoting instances from the portals who say they are neutral.

I started writing on a content publishing site Youth Ki Awaaz. What ever I submitted, they did not publish it, citing a reason that the article does not meet the community guidelines or it did not make sense, but never specified which guideline. I used to receive emails like these:

You could look at the article Lynching Whatsapp; In the name of Holy Cow. See for yourself, if the article is worthy of being read and compare it with the other articles published on their website. In short the editor liked the blog loved reading it but was not able to publish it. This is one of many such emails. It took me quite some time to understand what was actually happening.

I did something clever and got two of my articles published on the their home page. The ones that were published are Blue is the new Orange; Assembly Election Results Dec 2018 and Bollywood & its Feminists (you don’t see edit/delete option in published articles)

But wait. They were removed within a couple of hours and I received the same reason as always:

Can you guess why these two got published in the beginning and got removed in a couple of hours?

The titles are misleading and the content was too subtle, it gave an impression that it was a leftist article, but it was not. When they realized it or somebody pointed that out, they removed it. Although, they say in their guidelines that they are neutral but in reality they are pro-left. I have absolutely no problems with anyone supporting any thing, it is their prerogative to choose, shortlist the content, but I would really hope that they mention it in their editorial guidelines what they support and what they don’t, like Myvoice.Opindia does. It would have saved me a lot of frustration. It gave me an impression that I was not good enough and the articles were poorly written. Myvoice.Opindia clearly says what they would entertain and what not, no scope for frustration.

Eventually, I stopped submitting the content on YKA and moved on to another platform called as Quora; its a question and answer platform, it also added the concept of spaces that are like facebook groups. Here, there aren’t editors, but moderators. As soon as the content added by me started reaching people, Quora moderation started collapsing them. The below screenshot is for this year:

And that’s when I realized what was happening. If you have a mob of say 500-1000 people you can literally get any content removed by reporting it/downvoting it on Quora. You could google it. In fact, some of the content I added had comments that said “this should be removed” and it was removed. You can call it article lynching or intellectual lynching. As of today other than one or two, all my answers have been collapsed. And of course the spaces that say neutral, don’t accept the submissions.

Then I tried the last option that I had in mind to get some audience to my blog i.e. Facebook. I started promoting the content, by creating ads. And then this happened:

Rejected and Rejected. You see 0 people reached in the small boosted on window. Me being me, I tried the exact same thing that I did with Youth Ki Awaaz, edited the ad in such a way that it looked as if I agree with their version of the story i.e. the leftist view. And then:

Here you see people reached as 5.2k, i.e. the advertisement ran for a couple of hours and then was pulled off. Why? The ad description was subtle, I comfortably hid the fact that article will talk about what Delhi Government has done in healthcare in the last 6 years. You can have a look at the article here: Reasons why Delhi is failing the coronavirus exam and tell me what is “excessively violent, shocking or sensational” in the content which is the reason given to me. Be the judge yourself.

Before I move further, let me reiterate that I have absolutely no issues with any of the platforms I have mentioned above, I brought this up only because I want my readers to trust me and not think that I am cooking up stories.

Just imagine how last three years have been for me. I put a minimum of one week for researching every piece that I write. I do it with the same enthusiasm and energy every time. Every day I wake up with a hope and every night I go to bed with the same suffocation and frustration of being denied the audience. I have a 40 hours work week i.e. my day job and I put around at least 25-30 hours every week for blogging. I started writing to communicate which I am being refrained from, by banning my content every single time on every other platform. If I want the audience, I should be writing what they believe in or agree to and not what I want to express.

Now,

Just extend this, from a week of research to months and even a year of hard work, and from a ten minutes article to a two and a half hour movie. What do you get?

You get a person like Sushant Singh Rajput.

He was an introvert, didn’t have friends and wanted to use movies as a way to express himself, communicate with his audience. He wanted to express some thing like this:

He had a scientific bent of mind, was enthusiastic about particle collider, CERN, Moon, Mars, Universe, Vedas, Yoga, Swami Vivekanada, Shiva, but he was not allowed to express that. He was thrown out of the movies that made sense to him like Paani and Chanda Mama. He would have wanted to create science fiction. What was he forced to do? Anti-Hindu propaganda. A Pandit killed Ali’s family, orchestrated 2002 Gujarat riots, Kai Po Che, a propaganda film based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel mixing facts with fiction. Kedarnath, another propaganda film portraying a Pandit behind Mansoor’s troubles. His #reality was diametrically opposite to what he was being made to express.

People get frustrated after watching one propaganda film, you see people protesting against these movies. Just imagine what he would have gone through when he was literally made to live the propaganda. He was an ardent follower of Shiva and he was forced to be a part of something mocking Shiva in PK. For the first time in my life, I am happy that I am a nobody. I am only denied by the audience but at least I can express what I really feel. It does not matter to me if someone likes it or not, upvotes it or not, I can at least say to myself, I made an effort to fix something that bothers me. His condition was even worse.

He couldn’t have said it any clearer than this. By the way what is that thing in his neck? Tiny details! What a person does, says or wears in his personal time tells more about him/her than when he is on screen explicitly showing, doing, or telling. On screen is probably pre-decided by someone else on his behalf.

Having an Identity is not good; Having an ability to dream is not good; Having a vision is not good; Having the ability to think is not good; Having the ability to read between the lines is not good; Having the ability to understand what we see around us is not good; Having the ability to question and search for answers is not good; Having a spine to stand up for what we believe in is not good;

Why?

Because when you possess these characteristics, you develop a perspective. And two contradictory perspectives cause confrontation. Every body is happy till the time a slave behaves like a slave and agrees to the perspective of his master. As soon as the slave starts asserting his perspective, all hell breaks lose. One of the two things happen, either the slavery ceases to exist or the slave himself ceases to exist.

Media is saying something happened in last six months. What changed in last few months? It was Corona-time, it was lock-down, no films were being made; but there was a lot of time to think and look back. They had made him drop his last name to just prove a point. Remember Padmavat? not even his movie to promote.

A sharp intellect is like a two edged sword, it cuts both ways.

All the examples I gave from my tiny experience in the beginning were to prove that there is an ecosystem that stops people from being heard, if that ecosystem is so active at this low level where I operate, just imagine how fierce it would be at the level where he operated. Films need teams, people and huge investments. He was forced to do these propaganda movies. If he would not have done those, he would not have been a star in the first place, because he would have been banned right from the beginning. He had no choice. He was a talented person, a majority of the Bollywood superstars we have today will not even understand his tweets and the sanskrit sholkas that he tweeted. I can’t possibly imagine how he survived this long with expressing a perspective that was contradictory to his own perspective. But he taught an important lesson, it is worth quitting sometimes. He should have quit Bollywood and movies if he was losing hope. I will quit writing as soon as I get tired or start losing hope.

His reality was in contradiction to what he was made to express. If at all it was a suicide “It can only be this confrontation within him that killed him“.

May his soul rest in peace!

But it does not mean that he committed suicide, it only means that he was frustrated, and was feeling suffocated. It also means that this could very well be used to make something else look like suicide. People should ask for CBI Enquiry, as his family is asking for.

Atmanirbhar is not merely Swadeshi- Here is why

0

The recent announcement by PM Modi in pushing for an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ raised a lot of debate, as expected. This debate very quickly turned into a political and nationalist debate and in the process, unfortunately, lost a bit of the essence of the enterprise. This piece is a quick look at what ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ really means from an economic perspective.

There might be a strong intuition to compare Atmanirbhar Bharat to the Swadeshi movement which was initiated during the freedom struggle. However there is a big difference between the two as I see it. The Swadeshi movement was from a demand side while the current plan being proposed by the PM is from the supply side. The Swadeshi movement involved consuming goods which were made by local businesses and not consuming goods which were made outside India, especially the UK. Though this ideology is also a part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat movement, it is not supposed to be the main driving narrative of the movement. The current movement envisages a lot of focus on R&D and innovation to develop products and services in India which would be world class and thus enable Indian businesses to sell their products not only in India but all over the globe. Thus the short term goal of the movement is to consume Swadeshi products (demand side) whereas the long term goal is to produce the best quality of products which can compete handsomely at the global stage (supply side).

An example of this can be the automobile industry in Japan. The in 1920s, American auto companies like Forg and GM dominated the Japanese automobile market. A law was passed in 1936 to promote local production and reduce foreign competition. The automotive industry in Japan increased rapidly from 1970 onwards backed by innovation in car designs and factory layouts. Japan eventually overtook the US to be the leading producer of automobiles and at one stage also started to fiercely compete against the US car behemoths in the US market itself.

Typical arguments raised against ‘vocal for local’ include the principles of free trade and the fact that efficiency is maximized when the free market allocates production to the person which gives the maximum value at minimum cost. It must be noted that all these theories make perfect sense subject to a range of assumptions. One of the assumption in almost all economic theories is that all the players in the theory (buyers and sellers) have the ultimate aim of profit maximization and do not have any other malicious intent. This assumption fails in the current geo-political situation globally and thus the economics of free trade also becomes difficult (possibly suicidal) to execute.

Turning towards production, basic economics (and simple logic) says 3 things are required for effective supply – land, labour and capital. The vast Indian hinterland always had large unused parcels of land. Capital and high mobility and thus is not an issue anyway – India has ample funding and it will flow wherever there is money. There is one major change which has taken place due to the pandemic – the Indian hinterland now has labour. And this labour has worked in world class facilities of Mumbai and Bangalore and NCR and knows the working of a shop floor. This fact has to be leveraged to set up good business units in the Tier II and II cities, possibly even in villages. This situation can potentially lead to a slew of benefits-

  • Local employment for people in smaller towns, shunning the need to migrate to metros in search of work
  • Much higher chance of goods being made as per the local needs (as locals will be setting shop)
  • Decongestion of cities reducing the burden of healthcare, transit, infrastructure

India today stands on the cusp of a potential transformation in the way in which it produces and consumes. Irrespective of the political ideologies people may follow, it is worth to look at the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ movement from an economic perspective and contribute to the movement in whichever way possible.

Does “saffron terror” exist?

0

The term ‘saffron terror’ or commonly known as “BHAGWA AATANKWAD” came into existence the day Gandhi was assassinated, in 1948 by Nathuram Godse. Since then RSS has been targeted to be considered as an immoral organisation. Truth to be told, that is Nathuram Godse formed his own organisation named “HINDU RASHTRA DAL” whilst being an active member of both the RSS and the Hindu Mahasabha. The historians who have twisted 5000 years of Indian history, who have given a partial view about various incidents will never acknowledge this fact. Nathuram Godse was hanged within months. Blaming RSS for Gandhi’s murder is like blaming INC [Indian National Congress] for the mass murder that took place during the partition. Just because Jinnah was a member of INC between 1906 and 1926.

When a national emergency was imposed in our country by Indira Gandhi, the people of India saw true colours of INC. Janata party led by Shri. Morarji Desai formed a government and made various economic amendments and showed the people of India that pro-Hindutva ideologists can be progressive in nature too. But the damage was done and you can change few peoples’ perspective regarding a subject but not all of them, and this misconception about RSS still persists today with even more vile accusations. Like that of being called as a terrorist organisation by the left ideologists and the bought media. It is a political conspiracy aimed at vilification of Hindu saints and army officers in the name of ‘saffron terror’.

RSS has been in the news for most of our independent history mostly for the wrong reasons. From being banned thrice as an organisation to forming a full majority government [BJP] with a nationalistic and Hindutva ideology [twice], the RSS has come a long way.

How did the term ‘saffron terror‘ come into existence?

It was first used by the magazine, FRONTLINE based in Chennai whose editor in chief has from the very beginning stood up in oppose of the Hindu uprising. However the widespread use of the term was only after the Malegaon blasts in 2006. ATS officer Hemant Karkare was leading this case, he died in the attacks of 26/11 in Mumbai. The main accused in this case, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur is a sitting Member of Parliament. To summarise the Malegaon case, the bombs exploded and killed 40 people and 125 people injured. The bomb was strapped to a bike registered in the name of Sadhvi Pragya. However there is no evidence found by the NIA which says that Pragya was involved in the matter when it took over the case back in 2011. The left propagandists use this investigation to further manipulate masses regarding saffron terror. The phrase “Not guilty until proven” has lost its meaning in this case.

For most of the people, Sadhvi Pragya is a terrorist in a saffron outfit with an image of a saint. Initially the ATS suspected LeT [Lashkar-e-Toiba] of involvement in attacks and 7 Muslims were arrested [later released], but after the NIA took over it arrested 4 Hindus who were all associated to right wing group called Abhinav Bharat. The ATS of Maharashtra expresses its thoughts over the issue as it was highly not possible that Hindu right wing groups had the organisation to carry out such attacks, and that RDX bombings are carried out by Islamic terror outfits. On 28th November 2006, Mumbai police stated that two Pakistani nationals were involved in the blasts. The case is still in court but the media and Muslim leaders have already concluded it an act of ‘saffron terror’.

An aftermath photo of the Malegaon Blasts in 2006 .

Similarly every possible allegation has been made against RSS, to the grave extent of naming them as masterminds of 26/11. Misconceptions about RSS is a manufactured one. Nobody tries to clear these misconceptions. In Karnataka and Kerela, Swayamsewaks are being killed systematically and no media talks about it. Ajmal kasab was sent with a red thread on his wrist by the Pakistani based terror group, so that once the terrorists get killed by the police, the red thread is linked with Hindu terror. The then UPA government led by Congress pressured the officials to link the attack with Hindu terror or to be frank with the RSS, but it was concluded that the attacks were held by Lashkar-e-Taiba an Islamic terrorist group based in Pakistan. Ajmal kasab was supposed to die under the name Sudhir Chaudhary, an ID was recovered from him.

Saffron is a sacred colour for Hindu’s all over the world. By using it before the word “terror”, it is hurting sentiments of crores of Hindu’s all around the globe. We Hindu’s have been tolerant all this time, always believed in our dharma. In this country secularism and democracy work in a very crooked manner. Had this been something about a minority such as Islam and its religious terror activities, it would be hurting sentiments and what not. India is a land which has given birth to so many religions around the world, hindu’s are one of the most tolerant people regarding such matters. Saffron/Hindu terror has never been justified or proved. Saffron terror is a mere play by the psuedo-secular groups to manipulate masses into believing that Hindutva ideologists are extremists and can go to any extent to achieve complete hindutva. But as Savarkar said Hinduism is way of life, and Hindutva is a way how you express it! Jai Shivaji!

Beyond meds: Mind and body, psychic run

It’s been only few days since we all have started grieving the sudden demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He died committing suicide on the morning of 14 June, at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. He was 34 years old.

There have been many speculations about his death in all the media outlets on the causes which was sensational. Several actors kept pointing fingers at each other, trying to settle their scores, making it ugly.

He was a television actor who went into the film industry and was a rising star of the Bollywood. He took up many exceptional roles and delivered them with all his heart and did justice to whatever part he played. He charmed his way into the minds and hearts of the audiences.

One thing his death has taught is that, it is as important to maintain the mental health as you care for your physical health.

Your parents take great efforts since the moment you are born. Fix appointments regularly with the doctors and get you checked to make sure you stay healthy.

As you grow up, parents do take notice of your physical health but when it comes to your mind, they expect you to communicate with them. They wouldn’t know what is going on in your mind. Your thoughts are private and exclusively known to you alone.

So when you feel like you’re going out of your mind, you really need to start talking. If not parents, then at least you could share it to the people whom you trust. It can be anyone, your friends, cousins, siblings etc. But the important thing is you open your mouth and speak up.

Having it inside your head, thinking about it and torturing yourselves with it, isn’t doing anything good to you. Sharing it with someone eases up your mind to some extent and also the person listening to you can come up with some suggestion which will help you out of your situation.

It is very important to have people in your life whom you can depend upon when you’re at the lowest point of your life. Those people are going to be your light in the times of darkness. They will pull you back when you fall down. they will support you and help you stand back in your feet.

They will push you to be the better person. They make sure you don’t struggle in your life. They can guide you into getting engaged in activities which will take your mind off things. When your mind is occupied with things which gives peace, you’ll not have thoughts which are unnecessary.

Create close relationships with your loved ones. Start talking and form a bond within you. Have it a point to share every thought to them, good or bad. When a trust is formed, there will be a shared feeling. Emotions change and helps you become emotionally strong.

Hiding your scary thought would never do good to you or your loved ones.

It’s impossible to live a full life on your own, unless you’re happy simply to be you. Thinking you’ll always be free to do what feels right and is fulfilling to you. That’s not the way things really are.

Because there many people who are affected by your actions knowingly or unknowingly. So when you take your life, you’re taking their life’s essence away, not giving them an option to be happy. I’m sure you are not that selfish to snatch the light of everyone’s lives around you.

Especially your parents, they give birth and tend to you weaving their own dreams of seeing you reach heights but your one moment of vulnerability will cause them their whole lives.

Depression is a dark place full of one-way roads of feeling which is very confusing. Even when you feel so much better, you have to keep working at seeing people for who they are by offering more of the self you’ve always tried to keep hidden. That feels so hard and risky, but once through that fear you will feel relief and get so much in return.

Stay healthy, stay safe!
