NCP Shiv Sena and Congress alliance in Maharashtra

उद्धव ठाकरे की सत्तासुंदरी की लालसा ने अपने चुनावी विरोधियों से समर्थन लेने पे विवश कर दिया और कांग्रेस जो बालासाहेब की पुरजोर विरोधी रही और बाबरी विध्वंस के स्मरण में विपरीत ध्रुवों पे खड़ी रहने वाली पार्टियां आज सत्ता पक्ष में रहने के लिए अपनी विचारधारा और मूल्यों से भी समझौता करने लगी हैं।

The ongoing impasse among the three parties is nothing but a trailer of days to come. The government might survive but governance will severely suffer.

BJP should have allowed the Maha Aghadi to tie itself in knots, its inherent contradictions would have surely made this alliance untenable in any distant terms.

Now, Uddhav Thackeray being sworn-in chief minister, the Sena got what the BJP denied to them. This is what happens when power over ideology prevails.

Who played over whom? Did Ajit Pawar actually betrayed Sharad Pawar or it was Sharad Pawar who made Ajit Pawar a joker?

Sharad Pawar has thoroughly exposed the dishonesty and greed of Shiv Sena to make own son as Chief Minister of Maharashtra and to achieve the above goal, how Shiv Sena has betrayed the mandate of people.

It is singularly unfortunate that despite the BJP-S.S. combine, a pre election alliance, making it past the first post of 50% of 288 seats in the Assembly, Government formation has failed.

Returning to the 'politics of performance' epitomised by Fadnavis' leadership and not succumb to Opposition's caste led politics will be the biggest challenge for Modi-Shah duo.
