पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा घोषित राहत घोषणा “आत्मनिर्भर” पैकेज के बाद हालहीं में वित्त मंत्री श्रीमति निर्मला सीतारमण ने प्रेस-कॉफ्रेंस कर फिर से एसएमएमई को पेकैज प्रदान करने की बात कही है।

सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम मंत्रालय ने स्टार्टअप्स और छोटे बिजनेस के लिए कई सरकारी योजनाएं शुरू की हैं, जिनका उद्देश्य उन्हें अधिक संसाधन और अधिक विकास को गति प्रदान करने के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करना है।

कुछ बिजनेस पर सरकार की तरफ से 50 प्रतिशत लोन उपलब्ध कराया जाता है तो वहीं एमएसएमई कैटेगरी के कुछ बिजनेस पर 90 प्रतिशत तक बिजनेस लोन मुहैया कराया जाता है।

2015 से पहले तक जहां सुक्ष्म, लघु एवं मध्यम उद्यमियों के लिए एक भी कल्याणकारी योजना नहीं थी।; वहीं 2015 में श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद एमएसएमई सेक्टर के लिए कई कल्याणकारी योजनओं का संचालन किया जा रहा है। मुद्रा लोन योजना उन्हीं योजनाओं में से एक सरकारी योजना है।

The low threshold limit in the old definition of MSMEs averts companies from expanding further, which also stops them from enjoying the benefits that are accorded to them by the law. With the emended definitions of MSMEs, they will not have to worry about growing their size and can still avail benefits.

The Pakoda stall concept of mini business model example given by the PM, to boost self employment through small and mini enterprises becomes very relevant and meaningful than NYAY which seeks to tackle poverty through legislation.

The theory of jobless growth was applicable to the UPA era (2004-2014) and evidences suggest the same. There is no place and time context nor evidence to support this theory for the NDA government of 2014-2019.
