Common Hindus are raising questions because either they are directly affected by what is happening in Bengal today in the unprecedented post poll violence unleashed on the poor hapless and marginalized Hindus, or indirectly affected because they feel themselves akin to the sufferers on realizing that the Bengali reality will be their own reality in the near future.

The CAA since its inception has generated a lot of controversy and has been the greatest bone of contention between the Government and its detractors, namely the so called "secular" left and the Islamic fraternity.

The History textbooks that we study in school only dedicated a few pages for the brave warriors who protected their dharma despite being put under the most gruesome tortures that humankind has ever seen, while dedicated 7–8 chapters for the Mughals and the empires of other Islamic invaders.
