Nitin Gadkari - a highest-ranking cabinet minister said Covid-19 is the blessing in Disguise, which insights that the medium and long term picture of New Delhi would be completely different.

These people- our COVID heroes made supreme sacrifice as some of them even lost their lives and we should be forever grateful to them.

All economies should focus on self-sufficiency where they can provide for all without any dependence on external sources. This change in priorities of the neoliberal order will remove all the internal fractures in it like poverty, over exploitation of the environments, unemployment, disease and other internal conflicts over scarce resources.

सकारात्मक खबर के बावजूद अभी भी कई चुनौतियां बना हुआ है जैसे-अप्रवासी मजदूर के समुचित खाने की व्यवस्था, बन्द पड़े शिक्षण संस्थान में पढ़ाई शुरू करने की चुनौती, कोरॉना के बाद अर्थवयवस्था के पुनरुद्धार की चुनौती, साथ वैक्सीन बनने की चुनौती, भविष्य में प्रसार रोकते हुए जनजीवन सामान्य बनाने की चुनौतीl

जिन क्षेत्रों में संस्थागत, नीतिगत और निवेश आधारित सुधारों की बात की गई है वो सभी अति महत्व के क्षेत्र हैं। जहाँ एक ओर कोयला, खनिज और ऊर्जा क्षेत्र रोजगार निर्माण एवं अवसंरचना विकास के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं वहीं अंतरिक्ष, परमाणु और उड्डयन जैसे क्षेत्र भारत की आत्मनिर्भरता के लक्ष्य में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकते हैं।

इस पैकेज का दूसरा भाग 14 मई को जनता के सामने लाया गया जो मुख्यतः कृषकों, प्रवासी मजदूरों और रेहड़ी-ठेला लगाने जैसा व्यापार करने वालों पर आधारित है।

With most of the labour returning back home during this lockdown, states can seize this opportunity to roll out measures so that labour stays in their hometown by eliminating the push factors which compel labour movement in the first place.

यह आर्थिक पैकेज इस प्रकार से डिज़ाइन किया गया है कि तात्कालिक रूप से यह कोरोना वायरस के संकट से लड़ने का प्रयास करेगा और दीर्घकालिक समयावधि में भारत के आत्मनिर्भर बनने और विश्व में अग्रणी स्थान अर्जित करने का मार्ग प्रशस्त करेगा।

The Indian bureaucracy has shown an unacceptable inertia which shows that crisis situations are not it's forte. It is time now to let academia and other institution step in and help
