मेरा दलित होना या नही होने का आधार मेरी जाति या मेरे साथ होने वाला भेदभाव नहीं है अपितु मेरी जाति के तथाकथित ठेकेदारों की विचारधारा है, जो उस भ्रष्ट ठेकेदारी प्रथा के साथ है उनके हिसाब से वो सब दलित है और जो इस विचारधारा के साथ नहीं वो केवल एक कट्टर संघी हिन्दू है।

वास्तव में सनातन में जिस वर्ण व्यवस्था की परिकल्पना की गई उसी वर्ण व्यवस्था को छिन्न भिन्न करके समाज में जाति व्यवस्था को स्थापित कर दिया गया। समस्या यह है कि आज वर्ण और जाति को एक समान माना जाता है जिससे समस्या लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है।
