Right Wingers should learn not to fall prey to manufactured storm in a tea cup

0

It started with the Gujarat assembly elections, inched forward with Budget 2018, was fuelled at the India Today Conclave with Sonia Gandhi’s famous words, gathered steam post the Naresh Agrawal episode, became louder after the by-polls loss, seemed to have a life of its own with the No-Confidence Motion threat, and finally it unravelled with the Cambridge Analytica episode.

To all of us who have been able to distance ourselves from the unfolding series of events, the opposition’s hand is fairly visible and predictable. The opposition seemed to have discovered the Elixir of life at long last, that would resuscitate a moribund and rapidly decaying Congress party, as long as they can cobble together a few by-election, Municipal wins, Temple Runs, Caste fractures, Regional fractures etc, all courtesy Cambridge Analytica Brain wave.

They have been using these disparate ray of hopes (for them at least) to fan their rhetoric across Social Media, disseminated through their well-entrenched, seemingly innocuous handles. These apparent “logical” conclusions are picked up by self-serving, pseudo Right-Wing handles, in an effort to whip up support for their burgeoning political ambitions.

Nothing wrong with that at all! I mean why would anyone object if the opposition and a rag-tag coalition of deluded individuals suffering from hubris, chose to live in an alternate universe. To all intents and purposes, we are after all progressing, from being a nation of “lotus-eaters” to it being the way of existence only for the opposition and co.

These strategic moves by opposition on the political chess board of India have left many of us Right Wingers wondering what went wrong. Thankfully the agenda peaked and unravelled a little too soon. But, even if it had not there were loads of clues in our past election results to give comfort to those of us who were excessively troubled by the recent slew of events and the media coverage. All that one has to do to see-through the brouhaha is to look at the past elections. And what role, if any did the public perception, perception across media channels have to do with eventual electoral wins or losses.

Take for instance the 2004 elections. Under Atal Bihari Vajpayee, our economy was doing fantastic and spurred on by this economic success the General Elections for 2004 was called on early. NDA’s 2nd term in office was virtually ensured. All the media houses channels in run-up to the 2004 elections were screaming themselves hoarse, calling NDA’s India Shinning campaign a winner eventually sealing a decade of Sangh-Parivar rule and a quick extremely humiliating defeat for the congress.

http://guruprasad.net/posts/the-untold-story-of-how-bjp-lost-2004-elections/

What eventually happened is very well known. The 2004 elections heralded a decade of a corrupt government steeped in nepotism, as UPA romped home with 225 seats with external support from the Left front, while the NDA was reduced from 299 seats in 1998 elections to 189 seats in 2004. This was a shocker of a result going by the trail of exit polls and the expectations whipped up in media studios. This was not the last time when the media houses would get it so wrong.

The argument that 2004 was an outlier event was further undermined with the 2009 elections. In the run up to the 2009 elections, Manmohan Singh lost the support of the Left parties and hobbled into an election, which was slated to be a close contest, only to emerge a bigger, stronger party in 2009. The UPA alliance was able to romp home with 322 seats and a comfortable majority. The congress itself had around 260 seats belying expectations of it being a closely contested election.

If one wanted to, one could extrapolate and figure out even more glaring diversions from the actual election results over a longer period of time. But, as off now these two elections should suffice in making the larger point. The point that election after election, the media seems to be getting as many predictions right as it is getting them wrong.

In fact, the mere fact that the Congress party under Rahul Gandhi has higher a data analysis firm with a detailed plan to coerce, convince citizens using the social media channels, points to a paradigm shift in the way electorate will be influenced. With each passing day the Social Media does a better and better job of predicting events, disseminating news and with each successive day, the traditional media loses a few more viewers/readers.

But, even social media cannot amplify an empty rhetoric and make it great. The ground level reality has to live up to the hype in the media. That alone is the biggest weakness in the congress armour, after 70 years of rule and now a new found social media outreach program all they have to show as work is a bagful of slogans and empty promises. For instance, the “Garibi Hatao” slogan was launched in 1971 by Indira Gandhi and yet 47 years later her grandson Mr. Rahul Gandhi is still trying to fight elections on the same platform. The sins of the past have, it seems caught up with the party as it tries to battle am increasingly efficient and transparent Modi government while fighting concurrently on trends and slogans in Social Media.

Each such skirmish initially seems to be going the congress way only to mutate and become a potent weapon in the hands of the BJP. What does not help the congress cause at all, is that the last modicum of efficiency and work was under the Narsimha Rao’s able leadership. A leader that congress party maligned and dissociated itself with in haste. Finally, it seems that consequence of ostracizing Narsimha Rao has caught up with the congress party.

Over time this 70-yearlong inefficiency and anti-incumbency will only magnify with each social media outreach that the Congress party plans in the run up to 2019. All that us RWs and Congress haters have to do is to not fall prey to the manufactured storm in tea cups for the time being!

On Ram Navami, let’s pledge to protect our heritage, and a poem for Shri Ram

0

A simple google search on Ram Setu will yield the results that its “Adam’s bridge”. How this age old monument which Lord Ram constructed to reach Lanka, an integral part of our heritage became Adam’s bridge?

This happens when a billion citizens become indifferent to their culture and legacy. This happens when your governing body (the Congress party) that ruled the nation for more than 60 years along with its allies is ready to destroy the Ram Setu and also files affidavits in court suggesting that Lord Ram (one of our most revered God/Icon) is only imaginary, and all this is just for petty economic gains. This happens when such representations challenging the faith of a billion citizens  are filed in courts but people don’t react.

This happens when the people of a society pay more heed to alien authentication of their own history and legacy rather than their own belief. This topic got more traction when a Western Science Channel claimed that rocks in Ram Setu can be 7000 years old and predate the sand and that the bridge is man-made.

Had it not been for timely intervention of Dr. Subramaniam Swami, Ram Setu would have been blown up as a part of Sethusamudram Shipping Canal Project. We belong to a great civilization and we need to ensure that its heritage is rightly preserved and passed on the next generations.

I have tried to express the same message in the form of a Hindi poem “राम का आवाहन”

Wish you all a “VERY HAPPY RAMNAVAMI”

A fictional history of the ‘Dravida Nadu’ nation, when it gets formed

0

It’s year 2118, a boy of 8 years old running around the ruins of one’s a concrete jungle. Playing hide n seek with his friends.. It’s like Lithuania in 1980s before USSR broke..

The Young boy runs into an old building to hide. The building looks like an old school. He wastes no time and hides next to a broken wooden closet.

He steps on something, which is not concrete or stone, something soft. He slowly rolls his eyes and checks what it is – It’s an old torn book.

The young boy doesn’t realize what he has found. No one in his Ghetto can read or write. Luckily, there is an old man who looks ancient but he is now way too old to converse or mingle with anyone. Young boy runs into him and shows this book.

The old man is sitting on a metal box; he is too old to see anything properly. He could barely see anything farther than 3 inches.

He can only feel someone coming near him. When the young boy comes near him he sees the silhouette of the boy. The boy drops the book on old man’s lap and leaves in a lurch to go to his hiding place.

With his shivering hands Old man picks the book on his lap, which is about to fall down!

Book is barely strong enough to hold itself. At this point, Old man is in half mind to bring it closer to the eyes or keep it aside and dive back into his muse.

He decides to bring it closer to his eyes. Only the headlines are visible, Rest of the text are all smudged or discolored or worn out!

The Old Man cries profusely just reading the title of the book!!!

He has no one with him to share the emotions reading the title!!!!!

How Yogi Adityanath’s statement on Eid was given a communal twist

0

If somebody says “Mai Eid nahi manata/manati”, what can be the possible explanation of these words? Simply, it means a person who does not celebrate Eid.

Indian liberal media is expert in giving any normal incident a communal spin. A recent example has been in case of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement on Eid. He drew flakes from liberal lobby for his simple statement about taking a pride of being a Hindu and for mere mention of the fact that he does not celebrate Eid.

As a normal Indian citizen when I read his statement “I am a Proud Hindu. I Don’t Celebrate Eid” for first time, I found nothing wrong with it. In fact it was one of those few incidences when a state leader has risen above the petty politics of minority appeasement. Being a proud Hindu I could relate myself to this statement and it does not make me anti-Muslim or anti-minority in any way. It is just a person’s choice.

Whole incidence was very cleverly given a communal spin to influence the recent by polls in UP. It seems that this propaganda paid off very well. However, as a common citizen we need to be aware of these kinds of provocations in future. We have to distinguish between actual communal and non-communal leaders to maintain the integrity of our society. Many state elections and general elections are lined up within a year. We would be targeted by liberal brigade by these kind incidences and they would try their best to divide on the basis of our caste, religion, region, culture, language and festivals. This is clear indication of their desperation for gaining the power at any cost and stalling the progress of our nation. We have to be aware with the fact that current Modi government has put a lot of effort to bring the structural changes in our economy and injected a new ray hope. We have to continue this tradition in next elections. For that we should avoid being part of appeasement politics.

Now coming towards bigger part of the problem, after this incidence UP Chief Ministers has been projected as an anti Muslim. But why? How we become so much biased? In India millions of Hindu who does not celebrate Eid are not anti Muslim. Similarly Muslims who don’t celebrate Holi or Diwali are not an anti Hindu. It is a person’s choice that which day he/she wants to celebrate and which doesn’t. We all are living in one country as a neighbor by exchanging Gujhiya and Sewai.

During my college days I clearly remember, my colleague Abdul used to bring Sevai on every Eid and I used to enjoy every single bite of homemade sevai but I never thought of celebrating Eid as such. Every Holi I used to bring Gujhiya from my home and Abdul was a big fan of it but he never played holi with me. I never felt bad for that. I can understand his personal choice. These incidences never made us hate or dislike each other. I am a vegetarian and never tasted the mutton biryani he used to bring on Bakr Eid but that never created any distance between us.

But When Yogi ji put his personal view honestly whole liberal media put him in bad light and accused him being communal. I can also say with full confidence ‘Main garv se kehti hu ki main Hindu hoon aur main Eid nhi manati’ and statement does not make me anti-Muslim. I respect their religion and regard their culture and I am proud that I am part such a great nation that gives us this individual space to express our identity and respect others.

Festivals should not be a basis for judging anyone’s approach towards religion, caste or community. Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas, these days are gifts to human society. A basic concept behind all festivals celebration in India or whole world is to celebrate happiness, spread joy. Festivals bring people close to each other irrespective of their other identities. Today we are living in an era where anyone can celebrate any festival regardless of its origin, identity or belonging.

A festival should only be associated with spreading happiness and joy, connection between souls apart from their race, ethnicity or caste. Celebrating festivals should be Democratic like our Constitution. Everyone person should be free to express either Prime Minister or Chief Minister that “mai Eid nhi manata/manati” and no one should use these words to play political or communal card.

Why Mamata Banerjee is the worst Chief Minister at present

0

With the disproportionate focus of national media confined to the capital and its boundaries, it may well appear Arvind Kejriwal might be the most nasty, wretched and insecure politician currently sitting in a Chief Minister’s chair.

Well I would not disagree to the facts of Kejriwal being choleric and nauseating but nobody comes close in matching the malicious, spiteful & villainous quotient of our Didi. Yes I am talking about the Didi of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee who does not leave a chance to showcase her talent of being the most dreadful and reprehensible leader at present.

What makes her more arrogant is the undisputed power she enjoys in Bengal and may well continue to do so because of lack of credible opposition. She doesn’t have to hold back like Kejriwal fearing of electoral consequences.

For her, development of Bengal is secondary and Modi bashing is of prime importance. For her, border security is secondary and safety of some and ‘Rohingyas’  are primary.

Let us analyse some of her decisions which reveals the malevolent mentality of Mamata Banerjee:

1) She does not even spare young children & education sector.-

The West Bengal government has decided to shut down around 125 schools affiliated to Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan. This move creates a jeopardy and an uncertain future among the students studying in those schools.

They mainly belong the financially weaker sections of the rural society. No alternate arrangement has been proposed so far for those students. All because they were studying in ‘Hindu schools’ run by RSS in the eyes of the state government.

In contrast, when Partha Chatterjee, the Education Minister was asked about illegal Madrassas, he ducked it by saying that they are not under his department.

It is important to note here that these RSS affiliated schools are not new. They have been functioning from time communists were in power. Mamata herself is now ruling Bengal for around seven years now. There has been no complaints or problems in the past. Then why this move?

The reason being given now is that they are not following syllabus as prescribed by West Bengal State Education Board. But they have not mentioned which part of syllabus is not being followed by those schools or may be they are not following ‘jihadi’ dictats of urduization of the beautiful Bengali language. May be they are still using ‘Ma’ instead of ‘Ammi’ , ‘akashi’ instead of asmani & ‘Ramdhenu instead of ‘Rongdhenu’.

The real reason is, she has the feeling that RSS is exerting an influence in Bengal politics and it can be a headache for her in future. In her wrath and selfishness, she has not even spared young children.

Compare that to the open pampering done to Madrassas & Maulvis, and the fund allocated to them. The stark contrast is an indication of their communal mindset.

Poisonous politics of appeasement has crippled Bengal and ravaged its body and soul. On one hand they allocate huge funds for Madrasasas on the other hand they say “education should not follow any kind of religion”.

(The below pic is West Bengal’s 2017 budget summary where, important to note, budget for Minority affairs & Madrassa education is higher than that of MSMEs)

The communal politics of Mamata shows no sign of taking rest even in Independence day Celebration.

Last year, the MHRD issued a circular asking every school to arrange a “Sankalp Program” from August 9 to August 30 near “Shaheed Smaraks” — constructed as memorials to freedom struggle or war martyrs or those who have fallen to terrorism — or on school campuses.

Each and every state, including the communist ruled states of Kerala and Tripura followed the guidelines, except Didi’s West Bengal. The Mamata govt rejected the suggestions from MHRD, saying “The feeling of patriotism cannot be forced down someone“.

2) Minority votes overshadows well being of Bengal

The menace of illegal Bangladeshis and now Rohingyas have not  only drained the bordering states like West Bengal and Assam financially, but it has created a demographic imbalance. An imbalance which disrupt the peace and harmony of the state.

On one hand where Assam is carrying out ‘National Register of Citizens’ to weed out illegal immigrants, Mamata is hell bent on keeping them. In fact, she has gone one step further and criticized  the move. Banerjee accused the BJP-led central government of hatching a conspiracy to drive out Bengalis from Assam by excluding their names from the first draft of the NRC.

This is a conspiracy of the central government to drive out around 1.80 crore people from the state” she alleged. Assam Public Works president Abhijit Sarma, who had filed a PIL in the Supreme Court for updation of the NRC said that her statement was contempt of the court as the NRC is being updated on the orders of the Supreme Court.

Her apologetic stance on Rohingyas is well known. With illegal Bangladeshi flooding the streets of Kolkata, the Rohingya factor will only aggravate the problem and stroke more communal tensions. But she has turned a blind eye to the warnings and ominious signals to pacify her vote bank and keep it intact.

3) Mamata does not want Bengal to flourish- Stagnating the development process

As i said before, for her, well-being of Bengalis is secondary. The only motives with which she works are:

A) Minority appeasement
B) Painting a evil picture of PM Modi in front of Bengalees.

And somehow she has managed to sell the lie that PM Modi is deliberately holding back funds for Bengal. She sells a lie to the people of Bengal that Modi does not want Bengal to prosper and the Prime Minister of this country is ‘Anti-Bengali’.

But the reality is just the opposite.

There has been no shortage of funds from central govt. She wants to portray Bengal as the victim of Modi’s partisan politics, whereas the truth it is she who is the damaging factor. You pick up any parameter and you will find Bengal at the bottom when it comes to utilisation of the central funds.

Take for example DBT (Direct Benefits Transfer) in PDS (Public Distribution system). Clear indication she want the leakages to happen:

click on the image for larger view

Another example that centre does not discriminate with Bengal. The below list shows funds released under MNREGA during 2016-17:

She has already started another feud with Centre regarding Modi Care. She has openly said they wont pay for it. Her personal animosity with PM Modi will be the sole reason Bengal will suffer.

Such is her hatred that she has changed the name of ‘Pradhan mantri fasal bima yojna’ to ‘Bangla fasal Bima Yojna’. She is selling the scheme as one of her own pilot project to the people of Bengal, a trait she has learned and mastered. Such is her insecurity. Such is her low mindedness.

Mamata Banerjee keeps her petty politics alive even regarding tableaus on Republic day. She termed it as an insult to Bengalis and a conspiracy of Modi to deliberately ignore Bengal when state’s tableau was rejected this year. She said it was done as Bengal is not ruled by BJP. That was another lie she sold. Madhya Pradesh (a BJP ruled state) had its tableau was rejected by Modi govt last year. Only around 12 to 15 tableaus are allowed in the parade.

Mamata is no different from Jignesh Mevani. Jignesh wants to cash in by flaming tensions between Dalits and others, Mamata does the same by pitting Bengalis vs others. She has successfully created a divide among the Hindu voters in Bengal. She has poisoned the minds of Bengalis.

She allows radical organisation PFI to hold rally for Rohingyas but does not allow Mohan Bhagwat to hold meetings and rallies.

On one hand she speaks about artistic liberty in support of Padmavat, on the other hand she personally interferes and asks state censor board to cut some objectionable scenes from the movie ‘Zulfiqar’ because her Muslim brothers feel so.

Mamata Banerjee is the factor that is holding back Bengal from reaching its full potential. In future, she will continue to have her way of carrying on with the malicious propaganda and appeasement politics. My fear is  she will only up the ante here and let Bengal suffer.

Her success lies in Bengal’s suffering. Her success lies in creating a social imbalance in the Bengali society. Away from the spotlight she is damaging the social fabric of Bengal. With the support of liberal/secular ecosystem, she will continue to do so. The falsehood of Bengali secularism is becoming more and more conspicuous with every passing day.

If you combine the despicable and low mindedness of Arvind Kejriwal with the violence and inhumanity of Pinari Vijayan, what you will get is Mamata Banerjee.

Dark times lie ahead

Coalition politics is politics of corruption. It takes a lot to come to power and the bills have to be paid when you are in power, either in cash or kind. Coalition governments are most susceptible to corruption because the accountability is distributed. While in UPA it assumed gigantic proportions, even NDA-I had to deal with this devil when prime minister Vajpayee had to compulsively get rid of Suresh Prabhu because he was not making money for his party at the time.

Therefore, I was not a bit surprised when Shiv Sena started having a fallout with BJP so early on. What exactly is their problem with BJP, the closest ideological ally they can possibly hope for? Uddhav Thackrey has decided to fight the next election solo and if you look for a reason for doing so you will find nothing but a litany of lame excuses. Even if you look hard you will not find even one reason articulated to justify such a risky move that puts their political future at stake. Then why are they doing it?

While Shiv Sena started grumbling quite early on, one can see that the resentment is picking up fever pitch now. From major partners like TDP to lesser-known allies like OP Rajbhar of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, all are throwing a fit. On the opposite side from Farook Abdullah in the north to Stalin in the south, everybody is gunning for this government. When Raj Thackrey begins to talk about “Modi-mukt” Bharat one must wonder what exactly has sent a chill down the spine of the entire political establishment that none can stand this man.

In my view, such reactions can only be attributed to a perception of an existential threat. The risk of opposition’s coffers drying up is becoming too great as it is being pulverized and pushed into oblivion in every state by the BJP. The allies, like the Shiv Sena of NDA-I, need to keep their political machinery rolling. However, as long as Modi is in total command of the government with no fear of instability, their desire to take a big chunk from the political pie to serve their own compulsion cannot be met.

The opposition parties try to explain their death rattle as the sound of secularism dying in the country and the allies are masking the fear of their corruption laden nutrition supply drying as Modi’s “disregard for allies”. As long as the political players within NDA, including BJP, owe their position to Modi he can call the shots, and indeed has, which is very disconcerting to the entire establishment. Despite what Rahul Gandhi says in his deliberately misleading speech in the plenary session, the fact is Modi has stuck to “na khaunga na khane dunga” and ended the corrupt reign of her mother, for now.

This brings me to the real problem. While most Modi supporters are concerned about re-election, what concerns me most is what happens if Modi gets re-elected. Remember this is not just about politics or ideology, it is about survival now. While political parties continue to destroy and undermine every institution in the current Modi term, whether it is the election commission or the parliament itself, there is no telling what their desperation will make them do if he gets re-elected. The fabric of Indian democracy will come under a strain that it has never experienced before.

I was not around during the emergency but at least then the democratic institutions were suspended. Now something much more nefarious will happen – they will be eroded with frightening pace. With nothing to lose the opposition will follow a scorched earth policy. With all their deficiencies, politicians have made sure the political institutions function because their livelihoods depend on them. When that livelihood is threatened they will no longer have an incentive to uphold the sanctity of the system. The period that follows the re-election of Modi in 2019 (if it happens) could be the most significant period of India’s politics because it will determine the trajectory of our nation.

Most people in the US are beginning to realize that democracy is a culture. A man like Donald Trump can come along and chose not to follow the norms of that culture and can get away with it. The constitution is the holiest book of Americans and they are beginning to see that it holds value because everyone has decided to value it, and other than that it is nothing more than words written on a piece of paper. If prime minister Modi doesn’t initiate political and governance reforms that would be necessary to run the country when he steps down then we will be staring at a political wasteland at a time when the entire world will be dealing with disruptive technological, political and economic changes. I am afraid the cohesive institutional forces would not survive the opposition onslaught of Modi’s second term. If Modi becomes the prime minister of India in 2019 then it will mark the next era of Indian democracy. How that era shapes up depends entirely on him.

BJP must take these steps if it is really a pro-Hindu political party of India

0

Just a disclaimer first, please do not assume I am anti-BJP while reading this article. I might not be entirely convinced by BJP’s positioning as Hindu party; in fact, I am not convinced by any political party in today’s political ecosystem to be remotely pro-Hindu.

Though I admire Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP for the development and national security moves they have made in past 4 years, I do not see any policy change dedicated towards Hindu dharma. But the fact is, I was much more pro-BJP in 2014 than I am today only because of certain facts I have written below.

There are a couple of reasons for my losing faith in government due to certain laws which are detrimental to Hindus:

  1. There is absolutely no movement on RTE, which is forcing Hindu-run schools to close or vie for minority status while madrasas & convent schools thrive. This is despite private members bill by BJP MP Maheish Girri to amend RTE to include minorities in RTE, which is still not passed. The evil lies in 93rd constitution amendment brought in by UPA-I in 2005 which exempts minority institutions from any interference by the state while giving wide powers to the state to interfere in private or aided Hindu-run schools.
  2. There is no movement to free Hindu temples from brutal HRCE (Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowment) acts across India which is causing temples to become shopping malls, leading temple artifacts to be stolen & temple lands to be encroached freely.

In fact, the current demand of Lingayats and Kodavas for separate religion status is primarily because of these issues that minorities have freedom to run their own temples & schools, which eludes Hindus. There are bound to be more such demands in the future which will weaken Hindu religion even more.

  1. Minority budget is increasing rapidly with abundance of minority scholarships, minority school funding & allocation for minority colleges. I would like to remind BJP that the idea of partition originated from AMU. High number of minority scholarships would encourage conversion out of Hinduism.

In essence, we Hindus are getting battered in a land where Hindus have been brutally killed/ raped/ converted in past 1500 years repeatedly and still it seems we are paying jiziya tax to fund minorities. Our dhimmi attitude will cost us in the long run.

Solutions with BJP for massive consolidation of Hindu votes and mass upsurge in its vote bank in 2019 are many, as given below:

  1. Push for constitutional amendment of articles 25-30 & allow all Indian citizens the freedom to run their own educational and religious institutions with no government interference.
  2. Abolish minority affairs ministry and provide scholarships to all meritorious BPL students without any consideration of caste, community or religion. Abolish the concept of minority schools & colleges. Any religious body has the right to run their own religious schools outside regular schools but basic education has to be provided to all students equally without any minority-majority discrimination. Effectively, we are nationalizing education.
  3. Abolish RTE and focus on improving government schools to provide better education. For poor students wanting to send their kids to private schools, they can be given school vouchers to be compulsory reimbursed by govt within 3 months of the student submitting it else the admission of the student can be forfeited by the school. These vouchers can be used in any private school with no discrimination. Schools can in fact provide 50% of their seats for such students.
  4. Pass bill to abolish all HRCE acts across India & create a department to rejuvenate & maintain temples which includes temples being handed over to local community, murtis protected by the temple management & no temple land to be encroached by any anti-Hindu body. Lot of organizations like India pride project, Reclaim Temples etc. are already working in this direction & can be used in this department with 0 bureaucratic interference. Thus, we are giving back all temples & mutts back to Hindus
  5. Create a department with sant samaj, ayurvedic practitioners & pro-Hindu techies from across India which creates guidelines for yoga to prevent mutilation of yoga like Holy yoga. This department will also work to preserve our ancient scriptures along with ayurvedic formulations to prevent repeated plagiarism by corporates or western countries. This department (with no bureaucratic red tape) will make available all our knowledge digitally to reach Hindus globally with latest technology tools. Also, this will ensure our knowledge is not corrupted & only we have the authority of our heritage globally rather than a Sheldon Pollock or Devdutt patnaik who provide misleading information through their work.

These steps would be revolutionary for long-term dharmic welfare. Also, this will enable government to prove it believes in sabka saath sabka vikas by asking for equality for all. Also, this will enable BJP to show all other parties as anti-Hindu if they can’t support this call for equality for Hindus!

Of course, all these steps need massive course correction by BJP and huge push in parliament, but in the end, it’ll reap the benefits of increased vote bank for PM Modi and revival of dharma.

Hope BJP listens to these legitimate Hindu grouses & prevents breaking up of Hindu communities.

Andrabi’s anti-India, pro-Pakistan rant- why this silence?

0

Once again Asiya Andrabi has provoked the Indian state as well as its peace-loving citizens. In a recent event held to celebrate the Pakistan day, ms Andrabi has claimed all Muslims are Pakistanis.

Once again, it is not a great surprise how this was given the usual miss by our so-called liberals and intelligentsia, the pseudo-secular brigade. Imagine what their reaction would have been if it were someone from the BJP-RSS Sangh Parivar to have said this. The whole left-leaning Lutyen’s media would have pounced upon them and torn them to pieces grinding it non stop for weeks on end.

Now what is important is not what Andrabi has said, but what the Muslims themselves think about it. Strangely, few voices if any from the community have spoken out against this rant of the habitual India hater. Now one may ask, why they should prove their credentials every time a fringe element makes such a statement. There are many reasons actually.

One, whenever, such hatred is spewed by fringe elements belonging to the majority Hindu community, there is both a demand for disowning such statements and even without such demands, the civil society is quick to condemn it unequivocally. It gives a confidence that the saner elements are very much there, has the upper hand and is ready to take on these elements head on.

Two, a disowning of such absurd statements is required because that will tell this rabble-rouser that the larger Muslim community does not see her as their representative.

Third, such a disowning done in strongest possible terms in multiple fora is essential not to prove their patriotic credentials but to send a strong message that they don’t like this kind of provocative statements and it is better their likes kept quiet if they actually wanted good for the community.

A deafening silence and absence of a strong disavowal can create and reinforce an impression among non-Muslims that the community itself acquiesces in what Andrabi says and the belief that Muslims in India are Pakistanis is not confined to a fringe section but quite a widespread belief across a cross-section of the Muslim society.

We a majority of the Hindus do not believe that Muslims are Pakistanis; neither do we believe that the Muslims themselves can hold such a belief. I am hurt as an Indian when the likes of Andrabi claim to speak for all the Muslims. All I request and expect of my Muslim brethren is this: please condemn her statement with all the strength of your conviction and tell her in no uncertain terms that she does not represent You. I ask this of you not to prove your patriotism but to deny the legitimacy that Andrabi seeks. A disavowal from the community can be a hundred times stronger blow (than mine, for example, because it is to provoke me into hating you that she made this statement in the first place) to her because it is your community that she claims to represent.
