How can those who didn’t question Padmavat, now question Uri?

0

Uri, a movie based on Surgical Strike is titled “Brace yourselves, more toxic hyper-nationalism is coming “ by an urban naxal mouthpiece! They think nationalism or patriotism as a matter of enforcement.

What else can be expected from those who opposed National Anthem in theatres? When we come back to Surgical Strikes, our certain politicians went up to the extent of demanding evidence for Surgical Strikes! Titled it ‘Jumla’, they criticized surgical strikes as if it is done by Modi, of course it’s a result of the Modi’s  bold leadership. But it was our brave soldiers who proved India’s might.

How can embracing valour and sacrifice of soldiers be a toxic? Isn’t supporting ‘ break India’ brigade venomous?

Sidhu in anticipation of applause is spreading propaganda of Rafale in the country which brutally killed our brave soldier Saurabh Kalia, isn’t this shameful!? Declaring Pakistani PM ‘angel’ and spreading Modi hatred in that coward nation is nothing but disgusting. And more importantly hugging Pak Army Chief who orders to kill our soldiers and he stood by his act claiming Modi ji jealous is very shameful.

Pakistan knows clearly who are patriotic and who is not, that’s why in permitting journalists to cover Kartarpur corridor event it was selective and picked only ‘vulture’ journalists!

Then another significant matter is that General Bipin Rawat (whose father Lieutenant General Lakshman Singh Rawat and entire family is patriots ) was titled ‘ambitious general’ and even in a prestigious newspaper in a cartoon Bipin Rawat was adjectived ‘Security Guard’!

I have a proud feeling for Modi ji who, when certain incoming terrorists killed our soldiers PM made our soldiers to cross borders of Myanmar and kill terrorists for which Pakistan was utter shocked.

We have to congratulate Narendra Modi for extraction of anti-nationalism in certain internal so called celebrities. Initially it was trend of Intolerance which was surfaced in them as a result of massive victory of our PM, which they manipulated into a general phenomenon.

They didn’t question movie ‘Kedarnath’ which is hurting religious sentiments, let’s keep it aside as gambling with feelings of Hindus and Brahmins is their patent.

But ‘Padmavat’ hurt the feelings of Rajputs who were Kings with patriotism. Rajput women when their husband (King) martyred in battleground used to suicide in order to avoid torture by brutal invaders. But the movie builds love story between an invader and Rajput women, it’s horrific! But it was backed up by same people.

And films like ‘Thugs of Hindustan’ were significant exhibition of movie makers’ anti national mindset.

I think more than fear surfaced on in minds of Pakistanis it was certain fake Indians who needed burnol to digest Surgical Strike!

Apart from Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan and certain countable actors and directors nobody cares for patriotism  much in Bollywood.

These are only a few instances of anti nationalism but there are lot more, the problem is that as movies and universities how great impact on the society the slogans of break lndia and certain professors like one who called Bhagat Singh t*******t and movies like padmavat affect the society adversely leading to injection of anti nationalism in certain youngsters. I hope let the ‘URI’ movie complete hundred days or more and benefit the burnol vendors.

Why does our psychology seek a purpose?

0

Let me start with saying, I am fairly active on Quora, largely because I get really good questions. One such question that compelled me to write was asked by a handle that goes by name QuietGuy.

Why does our psychology seek a purpose?

Firstly academicians are divided on the concept of Purpose. Few think purposeful living is just another concept like democracy to keep flocks together.

Few others think, and I belong to this category, everything that takes birth in this universe, living or non living and is stable has a purpose.

At the time of formation of the universe, very very early times, the whole universe was extremely unstable. There were blasts & collisions & fire and cold every where. Each celestial bodies were fighting for its right place and only after each of them found their purpose in this all connected universe is when they got stable.

Sun for example took few million years to find its place in the solar system, and kept moving away from earth till it found the perfect place. A place from where it could provide right heat, light and weather on earth. If it moves or stops giving light it will definitely lose its identity.

No Purpose, No Identity.

Similar to Sun, even other celestial bodies went through this stage of finding their purpose. Life on earth started with no different principles than the basic principle that governs the universe.

Let me quote few verses from Gita and brief explanation from the book, FINDING PEACE LOVE & HAPPINESS: Self-help from Bhagavad Gita.

“वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय
नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि ।
तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा
न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही ।।2.22।।

2.22 – As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones.

FPLAH – Like a person wearing new cloths and discarding the old ones, the soul (principle energy) accepts new physical body by giving up the old and useless ones.

Each physical body of the soul (true self) has a purpose; this purpose is fulfilled by the senses of the body, which are guided by soul. Ones these senses are rendered useless or are saturated and cannot be of further assistance to the soul (for the purpose of soul) it accepts new body by giving up the old one.

जातस्य हि ध्रुवो मृत्युर्ध्रुवं जन्म मृतस्य च ।
तस्मादपरिहार्येऽर्थे न त्वं शोचितुमर्हसि ।।2.27।।

2.27 – One who has taken his birth is sure to die, and after death one is sure to take birth again. Therefore, in the unavoidable discharge of your duty, you should not lament.

FPLAH – Life evolves in a cycle of birth and death. With every birth we identify our true-self using the senses of the material body and once saturated, the body dies and evolves into a new body.

With every material body comes duty that need to be performed as per the purpose of that body and the situation it finds itself in. One should not feel sorry for carrying out these duties, which are meant to be carried out.”

Life is a combination of physical body and some sort of energy that we do not fully understand but is a common energy in every living being, let us call it soul?

This soul is said to be produced at the same time rest of the physical energies were produced right after the big bang. This soul like other celestial energies is pre-coded with a purpose. In order to achieve its purpose it evolves, through various physical bodies with varied senses. This soul eventually reaches the evolutionary stage of being a Human being on earth. This is the last physical stage on Earth. The most evolved life on earth.

As human our superior sense, the mind, is what really differentiates us from rest of the living flock. This mind when not corrupted by the senses is well connected with the soul. Which in its purest form knows the reason for its birth on earth. And hence the mind is predisposed to being either “inquisitive” or because of the whole evolutionary cycle “insecure”.

Mind which is inquisitive will always be driven to find purpose behind each action and to better it. Insecure mind will always find reasons for doing or not doing an action.

Finally,

तत्सदिति निर्देशो ब्रह्मणस्त्रिविधः स्मृतः ।
ब्राह्मणास्तेन वेदाश्च यज्ञाश्च विहिताः पुरा ।।17.23।।

17.23 – From the beginning of creation, the three words Om Tat Sat were used to indicate the Supreme Absolute Truth. These three symbolic representations were used by brahmanas while chanting the hymns of the Vedas and during sacrifices for the satisfaction of the Supreme.

FPLAH – Since the beginning of the creation of the universe the three words Om Tat Sat were used to indicate that Om (indication of the supreme, sound that came from the black hole at the time of big bang) is the eternal principle of the absolute truth (Supersoul).

These three symbolic representations were used by brahmanas (earlier living beings who learned the truth and lived life practicing it to be able to liberate soul) to invoke the true self (soul) while chanting the hymns of the vedas and while behaving, so as to keep the true self (soul) satisfied and free of any emotions.

This eternal principle states,

सहयज्ञाः प्रजाः सृष्ट्वा पुरोवाच प्रजापतिः ।
अनेन प्रसविष्यध्वमेष वोऽस्त्विष्टकामधुक् ।।3.10।।

3.10 – In the beginning of creation, the Lord of all creatures sent forth generations of men and demigods, along with sacrifices for Vishna, and blesses them by saying “Be thou happy by this yajna because its performance will bestow upon you everything desirable for living happily and achieving liberation.”

FPLAH – Along with the creation of the universe, the life on earth began with specific principles (sacrifices for Vishnu).

This principle states, those who live life acting every moment with complete honesty with true self (true identity) will be happy, will achieve everything that they desire and will achieve liberation at death.

So, you see, simplysaying we are predisposed to finding a purpose. Even if some find purpose in opposing living a purposeful life 🙂

Dhanyawad!

Does Govt. have the power to transfer the Director, CBI?

0

Even in early days, Jawaharlal Nehru used his authority to force a recalcitrant RBI governor Benegal Rama Rau to quit. During her term, Indira Gandhi practically undermined the autonomy of every democratic institution including the highest judiciary. Even a few years back there was this public spat between the then finance minister Chidambaram and the then RBI governor Subba Rao. The CBI had always been known as a dachshund to be let loose on the political opponents of the party in power.

Before the enactment of Lokpal Act, CBI chief was appointed by Centre on the basis of procedure laid down in Delhi Special Police Establishment (DSPE) Act,1946 but after Lokpal, CBI chief is appointed by the Centre on the basis of recommendation of search committee comprising the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice of India and the Leader of Opposition. Now, the Lokpal Act governs the appointment of the CBI director but the functioning of the agency is still governed by DSPE Act, 1946.

Roles & Functions of Central Vigilance Commission:

  • Exercise superintendence over the functioning of the Delhi Special Police Establishment (CBI) insofar as it relates to the investigation of offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988; or an offence under the Cr.PC for certain categories of public servants – section 8(1)(a);
  • Give directions to the Delhi Special Police Establishment (CBI) for superintendence insofar as it relates to the investigation of offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 – section 8(1)(b);
  • To inquire or cause an inquiry or investigation to be made on a reference by the Central Government – section 8(1)(c);
  • To inquire or cause an inquiry or investigation to be made into any complaint received against any official belonging to such category of officials specified in sub-section 2 of Section 8 of the CVC Act, 2003 – section 8(1)(d);
  • Review the progress of investigations conducted by the DSPE into offences alleged to have been committed under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 or an offence under the Cr.PC – section (8)(1)(e);
  • Review the progress of the applications pending with the competent authorities for sanction of prosecution under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 – section 8(1)(f);
  • Tender advice to the Central Government and its organizations on such matters as may be referred to it by them – section 8(1) (g);
  • Exercise superintendence over the vigilance administrations of the various Central Government Ministries, Departments and Organizations of the Central Government – section 8(1)(h);
  • Shall have all the powers of a Civil court while conducting any inquiry – section 11;
  • Respond to Central Government on mandatory consultation with the Commission before making any rules or regulations governing the vigilance or disciplinary matters relating to the persons appointed to the public services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union or to members of the All India Services – section 19.
  • The Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) is the Chairperson and the Vigilance Commissioners (Members) of the Committee, on whose recommendations, the Central Government appoints the Director of Enforcement – section 25.
  • The Committee concerned with the appointment of the Director of Enforcement is also empowered to recommend, after consultation with the Director of Enforcement appointment of officers to the posts of the level of Deputy Director and above in the Directorate of Enforcement – section 25;
  • The Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) is also the Chairperson and the Vigilance Commissioners (Members) of the Committee empowered to recommend after consultation with Director (CBI), appointment of officers to the post of the level of SP and above except Director and also recommend the extension or curtailment of tenure of such officers in the DSPE (CBI) – Section 26 and Section 4C of DSPE Act, 1946.
  • The CVC’s power with regard to functioning of CBI seem to be quite exhaustive. Any authority for transfer and disciplinary action against the Director, CBI is not however explicitly mentioned. This is the matter under dispute and the present director has moved the Supreme Court against his transfer order issued by the Govt.

It is critical to understand what autonomy and institutional integrity mean for an autonomous institution like CBI. All these institutions consist of technocrats and bureaucrats who are not elected and nor directly accountable to the people. In a democracy, the final responsibility for all major decisions must lie with the elected body like the govt. or the parliament or both. Therefore, the notion of autonomy for autonomous institution does not mean self-governance for them. No authority can be absolute and beyond disciplinary action; its continuance is always subject to approval by higher authority, in this case the CVC and the govt.

Congress’s game of “Gotra”

0

Election is a festival of democracy, but for some leaders it becomes an event in which they could do different practicals with the knowledge they have acquired about India. Congress President Rahul Gandhi this time came with a practical by which he thought that he could appease the Hindu community and gather maximum support in the five state elections and dream 2019.

During his election campaign before the Rajasthan elections, he told about his Gotra to public. This was followed by the Congress president challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi about his knowledge of Hinduism. Somewhere in all this, the political debate or discourse, if some prefer the pedantic word turned on the issue of the Hindu, and what is Hinduism.

Rahul Gandhi during temple visit (Image via Twitter)

All controversy over Rahul Gandhi’s religion started since his visit to the Somnath temple in Gujarat. Last year in November, Rahul Gandhi had visited Somnath temple with Congress’ Rajya Sabha MP Ahmed Patel. Here, Rahul Gandhi’s entry was made in a non-Hindu register. Somnath temple have an entry register for non hindu visitors. Visitors have put their initials there and only after that they are allowed to enter the temple. Rahul Gandhi and Ahmad Patel both persons initials were mentioned in the register. Controversy emerged as it came out in public domain and circulated on social media that Rahul Gandhi’s name was in non-Hindu visitor list.

Later Rahul Gandhi, who was campaigning in Rajasthan, worshipped at Pushkar Sarovar and when Rajnath Kaul, the priest asked him about his ‘Gotra’. He told that he belongs to ‘Kaul Dattatreya’. After this controversy, Congress came to rescue him from the tough situation. Congress spokesperson said, “Rahul Gandhi is not just a Hindu but a janeudhari Hindu”.

Janeudhari Brahmin‘ a term that has no meaning as Brahmin itself means that one has to be Janeudhari but not the reverse is right. That means all Brahmins are Janeudhari but all Janeudharis are not Brahmins. There are others caste too who wear Janeu.

Elections are over and everyone is waiting for 11 December, when the results are going to be announced. Whatever be the religion of any candidate, it depends on the people, whom they have provided the golden chair. People are aware to each and every tactic which is made by every individual or party.

It is said that when you build your base with lies, you are sure to lose trust. That’s exactly what happened in Rahul Gandhi’s case. There is no issue with being Brahmin or not, following any religion. But one should have a true identity. People look for capability and not your personal faith.

Has the Constitution failed us?

0

Happy Constitution Day to all the citizens of the country! Sounds incredible.. and yes, we, as, citizens, are proud of our constitution that governs our nation. Tributes to Ambedkar who is the architect of this masterpiece. He had said that constitution is only as good as the people who run it but then certain provisions of the constitution have led to resentment among a substantial segment of the population. 26th November is an occasion not only for celebration but also of serious introspection. Caste based reservation has not only strengthened caste but has also inadvertently institutionalised it, something, which Ambedkar wanted to annihilate as it had created a class of untouchable human beings.

The state deals with the people not as individuals but as collective identities. Individuals do not convert into citizens but become a member of a group that has an identity. Individuals virtually become prisoners of their identity. When you talk about identity, it opens a Pandora’s Box for the simple reason that an individual can have multiple identities. Simultaneously he or she is part of a caste group, a religious group, a linguistic group or a regional group.

Which identity will prevail up on him at a particular point of time is difficult to conjecture. People are more moved by other identities compared to national identity. National identity becomes secondary while other identities like caste or language take over. The Indian constitution engaged with caste identities which resulted in not only concentration of collective identities but also fragmentation of society both at the micro and macro levels. Constitutional institutionalisation of caste through caste based reservation in jobs and education, caste based representation like seats reserved in legislatures and even in local bodies, caste based commissions like National SC/ST/OBC commission and welfare policies based on caste have given fillip to identity politics. Identity politics has fuelled the rapid expansion of collective identities.

A diverse and plural electoral democracy like ours will always be prone to intense and fierce contestations among multiple collective identities. Nationalism will always be a difficult proposition keeping in view the way our constitution has been designed. This act of Ambedkar was not surprising because time and again, he had made it crystal clear that the cause of the untouchables mattered more to him than the national cause. For him, India was never a nation but an amalgamation of different castes and communities that constituted distinct nationalities onto themselves. Ambedkar was unconvinced as to how a nation with so many languages, cultures & traditions, ethnicities, castes and religions could qualify as a nation. He had desired Separate Electorates for the untouchables. Had he succeeded in his design, there would have been an unprecedented mobilisation of lower castes and a possible balkanisation of the country on the lines of Jinnah’s Pakistan that the national movement would have ill afforded.

However, the Poona Pact between Ambedkar and Gandhi in 1932 ingrained caste reservation/ caste representation forever in Indian polity. So when Ambedkar got the opportunity to draft the constitution, apart from governance and matters of law, he also ensured the incorporation of a social contract that the state must have with the depressed classes. Intense collective identities could never foster nationalism. Sharpening and intensification of identities only results in destruction of nations and creation of more conflict zones. It never strikes at the roots of systematic and genuine problems. Collective identities have halted the Nationalism project, proved a hindrance to making citizens out of people and have virtually created various social conflict zones. It would have been much wiser if people would have got freedoms and rights as individuals and not as members of some community. When slavery was attacked in USA or the Black Civil movement gained momentum in USA, the focus was not on collective identities of blacks or whites but on individuality. Apartheid or racial segregation was abolished in South Africa by an appeal to human individuality and not collective identities of blacks. As a human being, everyone is entitled to a life of dignity and honour.

Equality, liberty and fraternity are the cornerstones of our constitutional republic. Every individual has got fundamental rights which are enforceable by law. But just look at the SC/ST act. Just a mere complaint under the sections of this act can land you in jail without an investigation. If you are a non dalit, your Right to life under Article 21 does not matter. The community rights of the SCs/STs triumph over your individual rights. Indian constitution may talk about equality but the thrust is on equity and perhaps it is this underlying motive that validates preferential state treatment of some collective identities. As a matter of fact, different communities are ruled by different set of laws right from birth, education, employment, marriage, divorces and death. Collective identity as legitimised by constitution and as distorted by politicians will always pose problems as can now be witnessed in the country with several communities out on the streets demanding caste reservations and fighting against each other. This is the Indian method of creating fraternity.

What the nation needs are citizens and this can only happen when group identities are blurred with individuals becoming the fulcrum around which state policies revolve sanctified by the constitution. Post Independent India has produced community leaders who have only fought for their caste constituencies. It’s time to stem the rot and for this to happen, India needs statesmen and not petty politicians. A slight change in the constitution would do no harm and don’t forget that there already have been more than 120 odd constitutional amendments.

An ambiguous door ‘Kartarpur Corridor’

0

“If you take one step forward, we will take two steps forward,” Mr. Khan said in his victory speech, addressing India “We need to move ahead.” Mr. Imran Khan, who has been recently elected as new Prime Minister of Pakistan seems too desperate to get an instant closeness with India.

Acting in the same direction on November 28, 2018 he has laid foundation of visa free kartarpur corridor. This corridor will allow Sikh religious devotees from India to visit the Gurdwara in Kartarpur, from the Pakistan-India border, without a visa. The Kartarpur Gurdwara is one of the holiest places of Sikh Community. It’s believed to have been built on the site where Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh religion, died in the 16th Century. Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi told the BBC the Kartarpur project would help improve the countries’ relationship.

No doubt this is really an appreciable effort for Sikh pilgrimage, but everyone must understand that opening of this road alone can not lead to a peace talk between both nations. As our External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said “There will be no dialogue with Pakistan unless it desists from terrorist activities against India”.

This is not the first time in history of India-Pakistan, when intimacy talks are going on. In 1999, our Late Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee had made a significant diplomatic breakthrough and traveled on a bus from Amritsar to Lahore. That move was also seen as a new dawn of relationship between both countries. But unfortunately it resulted into Kargil war.

Pakistan has a long and dark history of backstabbing India, how could they even think that they will open one road and everything will start falling on place? India has always been a soft target for them. We have lost thousands of our soldiers in India-Pakistan border war, at least three times since Independence. Look at Kashmir now, what is happening there on behest of Pakistan?

Pakistan is a nation, which has been built on extremism, so how it could remain in peace. Its foundation (India-Pakistan Division in 1947) was held on butchering and killing of millions of innocent people. A country which has always been home to underworlds and terrorists (Al-Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Omar, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Sipah-e-Sahaba). Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was the one who  gave us 26/11, whose dreadful memories are still alive in our hearts.

Merely changing the face of it’s leader, one can not change the truth and history of that country. Now what is really concerning, that a country full of communal ism has suddenly become too desperate to obtain a democratic outlook. And to understand the real motive of Pakistan’s desperation for a softer outlook, we must dig little deeper.

Pakistan’s economy is going through a very critical situation. Foreign debt has nearly reached to US$ 95 billion. Global monetary tightening, increased oil prices and reduced investor confidence have negatively impacted the country’s economic situation. Since decades, Pakistan has been reaping the benefit of U.S. Coalition Support Fund, $1.2 billion per year till date. But now Trump government has decided to cut $300 millions aid to Pakistan accusing of indolence regarding terror. And apart from $300 million, $500 million Coalition Support Fund was also stripped by the US congress from Pakistan earlier this year, thus a total withdraw of $850 million.

“The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools,” Trump tweeted at the start of the year. “They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!”

Chinese investment is also cited as the major cause of Pakistan’s debt crisis. As China’s BRI makes Pakistan a key partner through the shared CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) .The CPEC is a $60 billion program of infrastructure, energy and communication projects that has  placed a greater debt on Pakistan in the name of improvement as their basic infrastructure is mismanaged.

Now after losing aids from USA and mismanaged CPEC deal with China, both have pushed Pakistan towards a  very difficult economic situation. So right now, Pakistan is in a huge debt of money and credibility. It’s a very critical time for Pakistan regarding its own stability and development. That’s why it is trying to enhance its image globally in different diplomatic way and Kartarpur corridor seems a perfect fit.

Why Modi govt. feels constrained and restrained in governance despite all its good intentions

0

The key political institutions responsible for the functions of governance constitute the legislative, judicial and executive branches of government. Not only is each branch of government important in its own right, but it is even more important that all three branches work in concert to check and balance aberrations of each other’s powers. The fourth pillar which is really the watch-dog is the media.

Now the question is = are these institutions working properly and in tandem? The answer is no as the following analyses bear it out:

It is reported that more than one-third of the current Members of Parliament have criminal charges pending against them. Members are either looking to satisfy the whims of their narrow vote banks, or to oppose the initiatives of the majority for the sake of opposition itself. As a result, Parliament often fails to pass meaningful reforms regardless of which political party is in power. Furthermore, the inability of elected representatives to think holistically has led to a fractionalization of the political assembly.

The fractionalization of the Parliament leads to a weakening of some of the institutions that are under its purview. Though organizations like the RBI and the CBI (amongst others) are all supposed to be politically unaligned; governments in power have in the past been able to exert pressure and influence on them. The present happenings in these institutions particularly RBI and CBI, however, indicate otherwise. While RBI is flexing all muscles, CBI is apparently suffering from unbridled corruption. No healthy working is possible under the circumstances.

Coming to executive, one instance would suffice. Centre took a long time in giving sanction to CBI to prosecute Shri Chidambaram, former FM in the Aircel-Maxis case. However, the sanction to prosecute the five-bureaucrat co-accused is yet to come. The bickering among investigating agencies CBI, ED and Revenue department is another instance.

Talking about judiciary, the backlog of court cases and the short-staffing of India’s judicial system has led to a situation where justice cannot be served in a timely manner, if at all. At the same time, while the lower courts remain ineffective, India’s Supreme Court has become more vocal recently on a wide-range of issues. This increasingly assertive institution has also begun to stray into issues that are constitutionally ambiguous or irrelevant, and is reinforcing a trend of overreach. All this is delaying and obstructing governance measures. Probably more baffling is the statement from the CJI that there are more important issues for the Supreme Court to look at other than Ayodhya, an issue which has been lingering for more than a century, is associated with the religious beliefs of close to a billion people and has led to riots in the past. And the very next day it takes up the pricing of the Rafale jets, something which just a week earlier they had said they won’t get into.

Then come the media houses. The blatant anti-Modi bias of most of the media houses has come to the fore since 2014 so much so that they don’t see anything positive in the reform programs of the govt. Further, there are numerous allegations of peddling fake-news and paid-news mostly to downgrade the present govt. or promote opposition. The Supreme Court even cited some incidents where the terrorists were helped by the live telecast of the events.

In the circumstances, popular mandates don’t get established, the instructions and directives of the govt. are not sincerely and speedily communicated or delivered and governance gets hampered or even sabotaged. That is why, Modi govt. gets constrained and restrained despite all its efforts to the contrary.

While we do appreciate the sensitivity of the govt. to the democratic norms and not trying to steamroll opposition despite its comfortable majority in the Lok Sabha, we don’t see why it should be unable to properly deal with the executives especially the senior bureaucrats.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi saved India from phony money which was threatening our nation

0

Demonetization has completely destroyed phony money in India. The value of phony money that was in circulation was believed to be several hundred times than the actual printed currency that was in circulation. The phony money was causing inflation, NPA, corruption, black money etc. It was made to believe the phony money to be real.

If Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not demonetized 500 and 1000 rupee currency as no more legal tender, Indian economy would have crumble and crashed down and from such fall India would not have ever recovered. People of India must understand the real state of affairs of our economy before demonetization. Our economy was moving towards notional and presumptive than real which PM Modi has corrected it through demonetization.

Several self-attested wise men argue that 99% of the money has comeback to RBI and where is black money. If the 99% money has come back and hence we have to believe there was no black money is quite reductionist argument. The tax base has increased and many were evading tax before demonetization. Secondly if the 99% of the money that were in circulation has comeback then how come phony money worth several hundred times higher than our actual currency had existed and inflated the market, caused inflation and NPA?

Demonetization destroyed the phony money and brought the economy back on rail. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has saved India from economic collapse and disintegration. He brought back the thumb rule of our ancient tradition that Indian is driven by banks and household savings and not share market. Our economy is saving based one and not consumption based one. Our economy is relationship based and not contract based one.

Prime Minister Modi revived the essence of family, relationship, social and moral responsibility, political will and determination to develop India and achieve sab ka vikas. Many dynastic forces are ruthlessly criticizing demonetization and PM Modi because he has dismantled the syndicate of corrupts and closed all doors for all those fringe elements in Indian politics to loot our nation.

PM Modi brought probity and honesty not only in public life but also in Indian politics. Since most of the dynastic forces and regional players lack honesty and integrity naturally they find Narendra Modi to be a leader from some other planet. Naturally they fear him to be as an alien in Indian politics who speaks and acts against corruption and remain so honest and committed to develop the nation. On the other hand most of the dynasts are developing their dynasty, breeding inefficiency and sycophancy, promoting nepotism and culture of scam and corruption.

People of India must understand the importance of demonetization and how demonetization has transformed India in a non-partisan manner. India as country would have ceased to exist as a powerful economic force in global arena had there no demonetization by this government.

Much before Donald Trump advocates Swadeshi push in USA, Narendra Modi has infused the above concept and taken India to new heights. The vision and leadership of PM Modi is inevitable for India to develop further and India become economic super power.
