जागते रहो! स्लीपर सेल पूरी तरह मजबूत और सक्रिय है
चलिए एक उदाहरण से आलेख की शुरूआत करते हैं। उत्तराखंड चलते हैं। हाल ही में तीरथ सिंह रावत प्रदेश के नए नए मुख्यमंत्री बने हैं। मामला हाल में उनके एक मीडिया सलाहकार की नियुक्ति का है। पहले उस मीडिया सलाहकार की आनन-फानन में नियुक्ति की गई। मीडिया में खूब हो हल्ला हुआ। पार्टी के मातृ संगठन से जुड़े विभिन्न संगठनों में खूब शोर मचा कि तथाकथित किसी वामपंथ से प्रेरित व्यक्ति को मुख्यमंत्री का मीडिया सलाहकार जैसे महत्वपूर्ण पद पर नियुक्त कर दिया गया। फिर उतने ही आनन फानन में नियुक्ति को रद्द किया गया। अब इस खबर का विश्लेषण कीजिए। पहले दूसरी बार लाइऩ का विश्लेषण करते हैं- आनन-फानन में मीडिया सलाहकार की नियुक्ति को रद्द किया गया। नियुक्त रद्द करने का श्रेय पार्टी से जुड़े कई संगठन, पार्टी के बौद्धिक संगठन और कुछ विधायक ले रहे हैं। और इसे अपनी जीत बताने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं कि देखिए, हमारा दबाव कि नियुक्त होने से पहले ही उस वामपंथिए की नियुक्ति को रद्द करवा दिया। मुख्यमंत्री पर दबाव बनाया गया। नियुक्ति को खारिज करवा दिया गया।
वे कौन लोग थे जिन्होंने उस व्यक्ति का नाम मीडिया सलाहकार के पद के लिए आगे बढ़ाया होगा।
अब पहली लाइन का विश्लेषण करते हैं। सोश्यल मीडिया के इस दौर में क्या कोई बात दबी और छिपी रह सकती है। क्या उत्तराखंड पार्टी संगठन और सरकार में बैठे लोगों को यह खबर ही नहीं थी कि जिस व्यक्ति को मुख्यमंत्री का मीडिया सलाहकार नियुक्त करवाने की कोशिश की जा रही थी उसका इतिहास क्या है। उसकी उठा-बैठक किन लोगों के बीच में है। क्या अपनी ही पार्टी के प्रधानमंत्री और पार्टी अध्यक्ष को गाली देने वाले व्यक्ति को मुख्यमंत्री का मीडिया सलाहकार जैसे पद से सुशोभित किया जा सकता है। तो फिर वे कौन लोग थे जिन्होंने उस व्यक्ति का नाम मीडिया सलाहकार के पद के लिए आगे बढ़ाया होगा। इस आलेख की शुरूआत वैसे तो इसी लाइन से शुरू होनी चाहिए थी। लेकिन पृष्ठभूमि को जानना जरूरी था। फिर से वही सवाल कि आखिर वह कौन लोग हैं जो नहीं चाहते कि पार्टी के मातृ संगठन और अन्य आनुसांगिक संगठन से जुड़े बुद्धिजीवियों के आगे नहीं बढ़ने देना चाहिए। पार्टी संगठन में ये स्लीपर सेल पूरी तरह सक्रिय और मजबूत हैं। स्लीपर सेल की लॉबी नीचे से ऊपर तक सक्रिय है। अपनी विचारधारा के लोगों को सरकार और संवैधानिक संगठनों में महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर बैठाने में उनकी लॉबी हमेशा सक्रिय रहती है।

स्लीपर सेल की लॉबी इतनी सक्रिय और मजबूत है कि देश के प्रमुख वैचारिक केंद्रों में अभी तक इन लोगों का कब्जा जमा हुआ है और देश में देशविरोधी नरैटिव को चलाने में इन्हें महारत हासिल है। देश के तमाम कला, साहित्य, शिक्षा से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण संगठनों में अभी तक यह लॉबी पूरी मजबूती के साथ सक्रिय है और अपना एजेंडा चला रही है। एनसीईआरटी का हाल तो सबसे बुरा है। सोश्यल मीडिया पर आए दिन एनसीईआरटी की किताबों में से वामपंथी एजेंडे की धज्जियां उड़ाई जा रही हैं। किताबों के पन्नों को खोल खोल कर उनकी समाज और राष्ट्र विरोधी मानसिकता पर ट्रेंड किया जा रहा है। लेकिन नतीजा क्या निकला। सिफर। राष्ट्रवादी होने का दावा करने वाली सरकारें पिछले सात साल में भी देश के बच्चों को भी उनका असली इतिहास पढ़ाने की हिम्मत नहीं कर सकती, तो इससे समझा जा सकता है कि स्लीपर सेल कितनी भीतर तक घुसी हुई हैं। सवाल यह है कि ऐसा क्या वजह है कि स्लीपर सेल को इतना हौसला मिला हुआ है? वैसे तो बहुत सारा वक्त गुजर चुका है। लेकिन फिर भी जब जागों तब ही सवेरा। भीतर के स्लीपर सेल से अलर्ट होकर उन्हें उखाड़ फैंकिये।
Yes, I am not going to Vote for Modi now
You have disappointed me, Mr. Modi. I will not vote for you again now. I had voted you for Ram Mandir, Where is that?
You have lost the track and attention completely. Don’t expect me to vote for you again. Identified as one of your ardent Bhakts, many have rightly started ridiculing me for having voted you only for getting the Ram Mandir built.
Let me tell you how you have gone horribly wrong. Instead of building the Ram Mandir that we had demanded, you started making all sorts of ambitious plans after coming to the power. But did I ever ask you to do that? Why have you put in so much of investment in the infrastructure? Weren’t we happy without these highways and expressways? And when we never complained against our territorial insecurities why did you spend so much in the defense? And worst of all, who asked you to support research on vaccines when we were happy with banging thalis and bells? Didn’t earlier governments keep us happy for so many years with Gomutra and Gobar then what was the need for you to waste our taxes and revenues on finding vaccines? We were happy dying out of so many diseases but we never expected to receive any vaccine before decades passed after its production in the world elsewhere.
And did we ever voted you to build toilets in everyone’s house? We had asked for Mandir and you have failed to complete that simple task till now. Did we ask you to provide kitchen gas and electricity to all the citizens? Weren’t we happy with sharing our limited resources with illegally migrated population? Did we never complain, then who on earth gave you the idea of CAA? We were used to get killed in terrorists’ attacks but had adjusted it happily by treating the next day as another normal day. Why did you try to stop these? Come on, think again, did I vote you for that? We were so used to grudging privately about other PMs who amassed so much of wealth for themselves and their relatives, but you have kept on denying us this pleasure till now.
We saw our foreign reserves becoming dry some decades ago, after loot of tax money in the name of achieving the unrealizable socialism dream and never complained against it, but did we ever demand so much of foreign reserves as you have amassed? Who asked you to work towards attracting international investors and make Indians feel proud about them and there heritage globally. Weren’t we happy with all the inferiority complexes, then what was the need to make Yoga as our pride?
In case you have forgot Mr. Modi, let me remind you that you have failed comprehensively in building the Ram Mandir. And recently after getting the second chance you have threatened to cross all the limits. What was the need to solve Kashmir problem, weren’t we happy dealing with the threatening tones of anti India voices? And when we were happy with corruption and black money prevalent all around, then why did you go ahead with GST and demonetization? You are trying to snatch our favorite pastime of indulging in blaming everyone for being corrupt.
And your latest attempt to make farmers of this country prosperous has convinced me that you have completely lost your track on which we had asked you to move. Let me repeat, please build the Ram Mandir and keep your promise. Don’t waste my time in improving our life and the world around us. Otherwise, I promise you, I am not going to vote for you this time. You have lost an ardent Bhakt.
पत्रकार राजकुमार केसवानी का निधन: वो पत्रकार जिसकी बात तब सरकार मानती तो नहीं होती भोपाल गैस त्रासदी
सुबह सो कर उठा, फेसबुक खोला और किसी की पोस्ट दिखी राजकुमार केसरवानी जी नहीं रहे। इनसे पहला परिचय टेंथ में एक भूगोल का प्रोजेक्ट बनाते हुए हुआ था। सामसामयिक जागरूकता ना के बराबर थी। मगर फिर भी इतनी भयावाह त्रासदी से अनजान नहीं था। सो बात रोचक लगी, इनका नाम भी कहीं जिक्र में आया था, सो याद रह गया। उसके बाद कभी तफ्सील से इनके बारे में पढ़ने का मौका नहीं मिला। आज जब इनकी मौत की खबर मिली, तुरंत से इनको पढ़ा, लेक्चर्स सुने, इंटरव्यू देखे। कुल मिलाकर एक चीज समझ आयी कि, आखिर क्यों हम वक़्त रहते चीजों को नहीं समझ पाते।
इसी बहाने अगर कोरोना महामारी के प्रसार में सबसे बड़ी वजह जिसको माना जाये वो दूरदर्शिता की कमी मानी जाएगी। या यूँ कहें कि हर महामारी प्रसार तात्कालिक सत्ताधीशों या उन लोगों की दूरदर्शिता की कमी की वजह से ही होता है, जो समय रहते चेत जाते तो इतनी बड़ी संख्या में राह चलते लोग पुतले न बन जाते।
उस वक़्त भी ऐसे ही तमाम वो लोग जिनपर लोगों के मुस्तकबिल का ठेका था, वो नहीं चेते थे। एक युवा पत्रकार लगातार, अनुमान से कहें तो तीन साल से लगातार लिख रहा था। हुक्मरानों को चेता रहा था, उनको सावधान कर रहा था। कि अब भी इस महामारी को होने से रोका जा सकता है। मगर किसी ने तनिक भी गौर नहीं किया। और जो हुआ वो ऐसी कहानी के रूप में जाने कितनी सदियों तक याद रखा जाएगा, जो अगर एक बार याद आ जाये तो जाने कितनी रातों की नींदें उड़ जाएँगी।
देश में चुनाव होने वाले थे। दो दिसंबर 1984 की रात, दिन की पाली के मजदूर घर जा चुके थे, रात की पाली वाले अपने कामों पर जुटे थे। भोपाल शहर लगभग ठंडा पड़ चुका था, यानि सो चुका था। दिन रविवार था, कुछ युवा नौ से बारह की पिच्चर देख के लौट रहे थे। राजीव गाँधी ने नयी नयी सत्ता संभाली थी, इंदिरा गाँधी का क़त्ल हो चुका था। मुमकिन है, वो राजीव कैसे सत्ता चलाएंगे। इसको लेकर अपने मत दे रहे हों, या हाल में दिखी किसी खूबसूरत बाला के नैन नख्स पर बाते कर रह हों। अचानक से उनको दम घुटने जैसा महसूस हुआ। और इसके बाद जो हुआ वो मानवता के इतिहास में मानव निर्मित सबसे बड़ी त्रासदी साबित हुई। छह लाख से अधिक लोग सीधे तौर पर प्रभावित हुए। तकरीबन बीस हजार लोग महज एक सरकारी आंकड़ा बनाकर रह गए।
ये सब एक रात में नहीं हुआ था। इसकी पटकथा लिखी जानी तकरीबन पांच साल से शुरू हो गयी थी। भारत सरकार और यूनियन कार्बाइड के 49-51 के आनुपातिक हिस्सेदारी में सेविन नामक कीटनाशक बनाया जाता था। फैक्ट्री का उत्पादन 2500 टन सालाना था। 1980 का दशक आया, बाजार की मांग, उत्पादन से काफी कम थी। सो ये हुआ कि कीटनाशक को स्टोर करना पड़ा। उत्पादन बढ़ रहा था, मांग घट रही थी। इसी से जुडी एक घटना को केसवानी ने एक आलेख में लिखा था, “1981 के क्रिसमस के समय की बात है। मेरा दोस्त मोहम्मद अशरफ यूनियन कार्बाइड कारखाने में प्लांट ऑपरेटर था और रात की पाली में काम कर रहा था। फॉस्जीन गैस बनाने वाली मशीन से संबंधित दो पाइपों को जोड़ने वाले खराब पाइप को बदलना था। जैसे ही उसने पाइप को हटाया, वह जानलेवा गैस की चपेट में आ गया। उसे अस्पताल ले जाया गया पर अगली सुबह अशरफ ने दम तोड़ दिया। अशरफ की मौत मेरे लिए एक चेतावनी थी। जिस तरह मेरे एक दोस्त की मौत हो गई, उसे मैंने पहले ही गंभीरता से क्यों नहीं लिया? मैं अपराधबोध से भर गया। उस समय मैं पत्रकारिता में नया था. कुछ छोटी-मोटी नौकरियां की थीं। बाद में 1977 से अपना एक साप्ताहिक हिंदी अखबार ‘रपट’ निकालने लगा था”।
इस तरह 1981 में यूनियन कार्बाइड से मचने वाली तबाही की कथा जमीन पर उतरने लगी थी। इधर बिक्री दर को घटता देख, कंपनी ने सेविन को सस्ता करने की योजना बनाई। उत्पादन गुणवत्ता, सुरक्षा मानक, स्टाफ, कलपुर्जों की गुणवत्ता इन सबमें बेतहाशा कमी की गयी। कंपनी धीरे धीरे पटरी पर आने लगी। उनको ये फार्मूला भा गया। सरकारी मुलाजिम अपना हिस्सा लेकर अनदेखी करने लगे। केंद्र में बैठे सत्ताधीशों के पास महज आठ लाख लोगों के बीच बसी कंपनी, जिसका लाइसेंस ही जान लेने की दवा बनाने का था, उसको देखने भर की फुर्सत नहीं थी, सो नहीं देखा।
केसवानी की रिपोर्टें वहां के आलाकमानों को पसंद नहीं आ रही थीं। सो नौकरी से हाथ धो बैठे। मगर जो मौत का साया कंपनी से निकलने वाले वेस्ट और वहां के कामगारों को आने वाले कल में चिताओं पर लेटे देख चुका हो, वह चुप कैसे बैठ सकता था। उन्होंने दो हजार की सर्कुलेशन वाला अखबार निकालना शुरू किया और इसको लेकर लगातार लिखना शुरू किया। अपने सिरे से इन्होने हर वो जानकारी और सुबूत दिए लेकिन जेबों में घूस और आँखों का पानी मार चुके उन मदान्ध सरकारी मुलाजिमों ने देखने से इंकार कर दिया। आख़िरत में दो दिसंबर की वो रात आई, साथ में आयी मानवता के इतिहास की सबसे बड़े मानव निर्मित तबाही। लोग मर रहे थे और मुख्यमंत्री अर्जुन सिंह अपने फार्महाउस पर जाकर खुद को बचा रहे थे।
हादसे से 26 साल बाद आरोपी बनाये गए सात लोगों को दो दो साल की सजा मिली। एक भाषण में केसवानी कहते हैं कि “अगर प्रति व्यक्ति (मौत) का हिसाब लगाया जाए तो एक हत्या के बदले आरोपी को 35 मिनट की सजा”। इंसानी जात के इतिहास में एक जान की इतनी सस्ती कीमत कभी नहीं रही होगी। एक इंसान की जान की कीमत सत्ता के लिए क्या होगी इस आंकड़े को पढ़कर लगा सकते हैं। कंपनी का मालिक वारेन एंडरसन, इस व्यक्ति को मध्यप्रदेश सरकार के हवाई जहाज से दिल्ली ले जाया गया जहाँ से वो अमरीका भगा गया और मौत तक (2014) कभी लौट कर नहीं आया।
सवाल उठना लाजिम है, सवाल ये कि ये महामहिम की श्रेणी के लोग, देश के तीनों स्तम्भ के लोग, देश के चौथे स्तम्भ को सिरे से कैसे दरकिनार कर देते हैं। इनको तकलीफ होती है तो पूरे देश की व्यवस्था जुट जाती है। लेकिन, उस व्यवस्था का पोषण करने वाली आम जनता की समस्याओं को जब अखबारों में लिखा जाता है तो कैसे वो सबकी नजरों से छूट जाता है। केसवानी जैसे जाने कितने लोग लिखते हैं, बोलते हैं लेकिन कुछ लोगों के चश्मों के अंदर तक जा ही नहीं पाते। सवाल तो ये भी है कि किसी फिल्म में एक सेकंड के लिए किस धर्म, किस पार्टी या किस नेता की मानहानि हुयी ये पकड़ लेने वाले लोग, अखबार में क्या लिखा है, ये क्यों नहीं पकड़ पाते ?
ऐसी ही ना जाने कितनी तबाहियों की पटकथाओं के खुलासे अखबरों में केसवानी जैसे तमाम लोग करते रहते हैं। मगर कुछ खास चश्मों तक बात जाती ही नहीं। हर तबाही को लेकर समाज के घोषित बुद्धिजीवियों के अलावा भी लोग राय रखते हैं। और आमतौर पर उनकी प्लानिंग कमेटियों से बेहतर और कम समय में वो लोग वही बात कह देते हैं, जो एक भारी भरकम टीम और पैसा खर्च करने के बाद रिपोर्ट नहीं बल्कि, ड्राफ्ट बनकर महोदयों के सामने आता है। पसंदीदा बातों को गौर में लाया जाता है, शेष दरकिनार ही रहते हैं। कोरोना संक्रमण के प्रसार के लिए जितनी जिम्मेदार मेडिकल व्यवस्था है, उससे एक प्रतिशत ज्यादा जिम्मेदार वो लोग हैं, जिनका काम ऐसी परिस्थितियों में सोचना होता है।
सोचना जरुरी है, हम हर बार विफल हुए हैं तो एक बौद्धिक के तौर पर, हम छोटे फायदों के लिए अपने स्वतंत्र विचार को समेट देते हैं। और सौदे कर लेते हैं उनकी जान की कीमत का, जिनकी हम उम्मीदें हैं। घरों में आज भी ये बात होती है, साहब ने किया है तो सोचकर ही किया होगा। खैर, एक सोचने वाला हमारे बीच से चला गया। एक इंसानी दिमाग से उपजी तबाही से सबको बचाने की कोशिश की, दूसरी से खुद ही नहीं बचा सके। जिसने अपनी सोच को नहीं रोका। वो तबाही तो नहीं रोक सका, मगर रामसेतु बनने में उसके गिलहरी योगदान को नजरअंदाज किया जाना भी नामुमकिन है।

Twitter recently tagged the #CongressToolkit aimed at cornering the Modi government on mismanagement of the 2nd Wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India as ‘Manipulated Media’. Interestingly, this development comes after the ‘fact check’ done by an independent body (LOL) called Alt News co founded by Prateek Sinha et al.
One of the most peculiar things about the ‘Left Liberal Political Ecosystem (hereafter mentioned as LeLis)’ is the fact that this entity is not bound by national or regional borders. Leftists of India relate to those in the West in the smoothest ways possible, thanks to the shared ideologies like Socialism, Human Rights, Islamophobia, to name a few. But how does this group gets so much traction, when in reality, it does the exact opposite of pretty much everything that it preaches? Answer is a simple trick – ‘Blame your sins on your Opponent!’
Here are a few evidences that accurately depicts this behaviour of the LeLis:
- Capitalising on the funds of a Not-for-Profit Organisation – USA – Black Lives Matter aka BLM: Last year, the death of Mr Floyd triggered one of the largest anti-racism movements of recent times. While the movement was portrayed as to be something revolutionary, it turned out to be a Sham! Patrisse Cullors, one of the co-founders, is now enjoying life in a secluded mini-compound tucked into L.A.’s rustic and semi-remote Topanga Canyon, a primarily ‘White Neighbourhood’. Where did the money come from? You can do the Maths!
- Doing Racism while accusing others of being Racist – USA – George Floyd Memorial Square: George Floyd Square was once a monument to the man whose death sparked national anti-racism and anti-police brutality movement but is now a “volatile” area controlled by militant leftists, according to the New York Post. Ironically enough, the site meant for remembrance of the fact that Racism must end has come up with a set of extremely Racist rules for White people who wish to visit the site.
- Selling Socialism while accusing others of Crony Capitalism – USA – AOC’s Socialist Merchandise: This one needs no explanation!
- Doing Super Spreader Events amidst Second Wave of the Pandemic and accusing BJP – India – 2021 Assembly Elections: Indian National Congress Party’s prince charming, HH Rahul Gandhi, tweeted amidst the WB polls that he’ll abstain from doing any political rallies in the state of WB, where BJP had an actual chance of winning. This move came after the voting was completed in the Southern States where the INC still has a sizeable presence. Interestingly enough, the very next day, INC’s WB chief, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, conducted a huge rally in WB. Also, as the COVID-19 situation worsened in India, HH Mamata Banerjee’s AITC stealthily stopped putting up pictures of its election campaigns on Social Media while addressing crowds of tens of thousands of people while simultaneously shaming BJP’s leaders for campaigning instead of taking care of the COVID-19 situation. The fact which has to be kept in mind is that BJP had actually cancelled the rallies of Mr Prime Minister as he took stock of the rising COVID-19 cases. Also, the fact that actual super spreaders like Farmers’ Agitation and ‘Sar tan se juda’ rallies were nowhere to be seen on media portals, tells you a lot about the morality of those who accuse others of being ‘Godi Media’! All of this was, obviously, political propaganda aimed at putting BJP in a bad light. This is evident from the fact that all the newspapers showing pictures of crematoriums and burning pyres till 2nd May were suddenly, on 3rd May, covering how Khela Hobe won over Vikas Hobe and Democracy won over Dictatorship! Speaking of dictatorship, the retributory post-poll violence is on an all-time high in WB and Didi is leaving no stone unturned for remastering Kashmir, 1991 while the unbiased 4th pillar of democracy is back at covering the misery of saffron-clad states due to COVID-19 while the actual, scientifically proven epicentres of the Pandemic continue to be blessed by Penguins and IITians.
- And finally, using ‘IT Cell’ for scoring brownie points while crying 24*7 for the atrocious SM Conduct of BJP IT Cell – If you’re on Twitter, whether you support BJP or any other party, hardly any day will pass when you’ll not hear something about the ‘non-existent’ BJP IT Cell. The art of building narrative by buying out the actual Legacy Media Houses while labelling the whole media community supporting the Right as ‘Godi Media’ by fallaciously extrapolating the views of 3 or 4 TV News Channels is the only thing that opposition has done successfully post 2014. However, the success has been so humongous that the whole opposition successfully created a fairly impactful #Toolkit that showed to the world as if every single one of us 1.45 Billion Indians is gasping for Oxygen. International Media Houses, primarily those based in the US, who’ll even whitewash the crimes of Laden and Hitler if paid sufficiently, hopped on the bandwagon of selling misery porn while completely ignoring the Mental Health implications it had on the already scared masses. Will they be ever held accountable for this ‘Crime Against Humanity!’ YT creator Dhruv Rathee, back door agent of the Aam Aadmi Party, went berserk to hold the Modi government responsible for every single death in the country and took the responsibility of treating COVID-19 on his shoulders.

Dhruv Rathee is nowhere to be seen]. So when are we finally going to rename Black Fungus as Dhruvomycosis? This is the least we can do to show our appreciation for his community service!
- The role of SM like Twitter et cetera has been quite questionable as well. The clear left-leaning ideations of Big Tech, combined with an absence of actually fair alternatives, will pose a major threat to Modi’s chances of repeating the 2014 and 2019 heroics. The permanent suspension of Mr Donald Trump gave us a glimpse into the future of ‘Freedom of Expression’ when it is subject to affiliations of these SM companies. Learning women empowerment from Israel
The tough Jewish women are hard-trained in self defence, “modern” in every aspect yet so connected to their roots. They receive awe worldwide with every parent desiring such courageous daughters. To me, they are a reminiscent of nothing more than our brave “Rajput” and “Maratha” women of ancient times: who could clearly identify the demon behind humans, fought till the last breath to protect self-dignity and were “modern” enough to have high education, top-class military training and progressive ideas.
But the golden era is long gone. Starting from 12th century, we had afghan invaders, Turk rulers who commodified women. Indian women were dragged from battlefield to brothels called “harems” to please the Mughal emperors. Swords were replaced by “Purdahs” and military training by dance classes or “Mujra”. Right to choose a partner was reserved exclusively for royal men of sultanate. Despite all of this, our women fought back with amazing courage by either ending their lives to protect dignity- like Rani Padmavati or like Rajmata Jijabai- raising gems like Shivaji. But sadly, the land of such bravehearts is losing its daughters to crimes like “love-jihad”. The false narratives, twisted history in textbooks have hidden some important facts that our young generation needs to know. As a woman living in this “India of lost heritage”, I can bet upon this. Girls need to know that learning dancing or singing should be secondary to learning self-defence.
We’re living amid hyenas with broken mindsets waiting to pounce on us. Recognise them the way jewish women identify Hamas. Protect yourself instead of regretting for a lifetime. National Register of Citizens (NRC): Tool for protecting the borders of Bharat (India)
National Register of Citizens (NRC) is the register who maintain the legal records of their countries citizen. It ensures the authority of the people of our country and protects the country from Illegal immigration.
National Register Of Citizen is the most favorable and acceptable method to protect the borders from illegal immigration who can spread in various parts of our country and create a nuisance, violence, and crimes in the country. It is said in one research paper that according to the International Organization of Migration reveals that there would be 214 million illegal migration as per the 2010 census, which would likely increase 30-50 Million worldwide. It is recorded that most of the time these Illegal immigrants become a threat to the nation.
Now, the question arises why this migration is done? Why people leave their natives and move to another location. There may be various factors in it but these are some common issues i.e. Socioeconomic differences, cultural differences, environmental and climate issues, religious, socio and political persecution. Every country has its laws to give citizenship. Every country has its Refugee homes equipped with some standard or extra facilities. Still, people dare to enter the borders illegally. These people come illegally and spread nearby markets and in some homes provided by smugglers which leads to the frequent drastic change in the demography of that area. First of all, if the immigrants enter the country without coming to the notice of the government, then how will the government know who is the citizen of the country and who is from outside. Citizens of the country have the first right to the resources and facilities provided by the government. If illegal immigrants come and merge into the national population without a legal notification then it would create an imbalance into the system and it may lead to scarcity of resources and facilities. This is the main reason why this illegal immigration should stop.
Countries borders are like a boundary wall of the house that should be fully maintained and protect the house from illegal movements. In a social media report, it is said that illegal sim cards have been allotted on India – Bangladesh border. Further, all the previous attacks i.e. 2006 Mumbai train attack,1993 Bombay blast,2001 parliament attack, etc. all these attacks have only and only one root which is illegal immigration from borders through illegal methods, and then they spread all through the country. It will not only the hazardous situation of countries security but also leads to a significant change in demography.
One research paper states, as per the census of India 2001 the migration in India is 314 million in which Bangladeshi migrants are 10-20 million which is considered to be the largest illegal immigration in India. Further, the World Migrant Report states that 17 million undocumented Bangladeshis are in India. It raises the question that what if the majority of these countries’ people will also enter Bharat (India) boundaries illegally for no reason just to promote their Ideology. Now, if we look at some data it shows that 850,000 Rohingya refugees living currently in Bangladesh. In which 40,000 Rohingya Muslims have crossed the border illegally to India where 18,000 were registered in UNHRC.
Next, what is the impact of this illegal immigration in India by Rohingya? As per the record, the religious demography has been changed significantly due to dirty politics. The unabated illegal trespassing to India, border regions have around 60–70% Muslim population. Where Hindu population has been declined from 78% to 70% in West Bengal. In Kerala, the declination is 70% to 55%. This serious surge of demo graphical changes affect many things including politics. In a piece of recent news, there was an arrest of 14 Rohingyas including 8 women who unnecessarily argued to the train conductor when he asked about not matching their identities with given id proofs. Late on after arrest, they confess that they flee away from the cox bazaar in Bangladesh. Another news came in 2019 that four Rohingya Muslims were arrested for stealing metro cable wires.
Many news came out with horrible security issues which need us to think of strong bills and their implementation. Fake aadhar cards have been issued to these Illegal immigrants. Home union minister Mr. Kiran Rijiju in 2018 was stated that Rohingya Muslims have caught with fake Aadhar cards, Pan Card, Passport. In a statement, he added that most of these “Illegal Immigrants are staying at Jammu and Kashmir, Telangana, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Karnataka, and Kerala”. He also said that they are also involved in Illegal Activities. Rohingyas were arrested including a woman in 2013 at Hyderabad. They have a false bonafide certificate of residence based on which false announcement has been given by government officials.
On 12th December 2019 when the CAA bill passes with the majority we see the brutal riots which not only destroy the peace and humanity of the country but create an imbalance in society. They showed that their Ideology is above democracy. In the name of riots, they repeat the Kashmir 2.0. Violence, rapes, Murders, and roots of these riots are Illegal entries from Kashmir borders and illegal NGO’S funding through foreign agencies. We have also seen the Riots in West Bengal where most of the Muslims probably Rohingiyas pelted stones, burn the train, lay down on railway tracks much more and they do this by wearing a mask of an Indian Muslim who is a legal citizen of Bharat. It is claimed by Railways that they face 90 crores damage of Railways Property.
Special Investigating Team has found illegal Bangladeshi involvement in Seelampur and Seemapuri Delhi anti CAA protest. Words can be less but these illegal immigrants illegal activities are infinite. It can be lesser or maybe vanished if we protect our borders from paper to ground. These investigations are still going on but the question is are our borders secure? Now, we move to the next question i.e. how the world protects its borders and what they’re penalizing for breaking them. In India crossing Border illegally is a crime, Illegal persons may face Imprisonment for 2 to 8 years and a fine for illegal entry; up to 3 months’ imprisonment, fine, or both for entry without a passport or with a forged passport/visa. Penalization across the globe regarding crossing borders Illegally :
1.USA: For the first improper entry offense, the person can be fined (as a criminal penalty), or imprisoned for up to six months, or both. For a subsequent offense, the person can be fined or imprisoned for up to two years, or both.
2.JAPAN: Imprisonment for not more than 3 years and/or fine, and deportation.
3.CHINA: Imprisonment, criminal detention, or public surveillance, and fine, depending on nature of the offense; foreigners also subject to deportation.
4.ISRAEL: 5 years’ imprisonment, fine, or both.
5. North Korea: Announced a new policy of harshly punishing border crossers with prison sentences of up to five years. Anyone imprisoned in North Korea is liable to face abusive conditions including beatings, forced labor, and starvation far worse than among the population at large.
All the horrendous and worse situations mentioned above which directly affect human life and public properties due to Illegal Immigrants in Bharat have a one-stop solution which is the National Register of Citizens. In many countries, it is named as some different terms but has the same intent to keep the records of citizens. Below is the information of some countries have NRC like policy :
1.Belgium: Belgium maintains a National Register (Registre National) of citizens and resident foreigners. The register is administered centrally by the Ministry of the Interior (SPF Intérieur (IBZ)) and locally by Belgian municipalities and embassies. Citizens and resident foreigners are issued with a National Register Number which features on their identity card.
2.South Africa: In South Africa, vital records are contained in the National Population Register, which is maintained by the national Department of Home Affairs. Any Home Affairs office can record a vital event or issue a certified copy of a vital record.
3.Russia: In Russia, there is Resident Registration In Russia which is Under the current registration program, Russian citizens must register if they live in the same place for 90 days (for Belarusian citizens in Russia and vice versa, registration is required after 30 days).
There are two types of registration:
- Permanent registration: Registration of citizens at the place of residence
- Temporary registration: Registration of citizens at the place of temporary residence
4.USA: In the USA, all things are considered in Green Card. To get the green card first you need to stay in the USA for 5 years. It is a valid authorized card that permits you to live in the USA for an infinite time. Permanent residents remain the citizen of another country. So every time you travel outside the United States, you must carry the passport of that country with you, as well as your U.S. green card. You will use your green card to reenter the United States.
5.Japan: The details of citizens in Japan are maintained in two ways one is Kosek Family Registry and the other one is Juminhyo. A brief detail of these terms are given below:
Koseki family registry is an official document that registers every Japanese citizen, and it plays the role of all birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates. Please note it doesn’t register non-Japanese citizens.
Juminhyo is made for eligible foreign residents, such as those entitled to a residence card and special permanent residents. A resident record indicates your full name, sex, date of birth, address, etc.
6. Switzerland: In Switzerland, it is mandatory to register yourself in the Swiss Civil Status Register. Foreign documents must fulfill conditions before being registered into the Swiss civil status register.
7.Canada: A civil status document refers to a legal record of the important events in the lives of the citizens and residents of a country. A civil status document, therefore, can be seen as an identity document but an identity document is not necessarily a civil status document.
Now, we have seen across the globe every country maintain a legal record of their citizen which ensures the first legal right of citizen on countries resources and other benefits given by the government. Also, it helps a lot of countries to recognize the illegal immigrants of the country. It ensures the safety and security of the country. Many countries named NRC as civil registration which is mandatory for every citizen to register themselves.
If we look in the Bharat (India) scenario there is no legal register that ensures the citizen of Bharat (India). We don’t have one register that claims the authorized identity of Indian Citizenship. In this bizarre and horrendous scenario which Bharat (India) is facing now in terms of terrorist attacks, riots, smuggling in various forms, demographical changes, it is not only the need but is a national security issue that would be somehow can be resolved through National Register of Citizen (NRC). It is the situation that calls for strict bills and their Implementation which ensures the safety of Bharat(India) people.
Moving further if we look at the very near Post Poll Violence In West Bengal India after the landslide victory of TMC in 2021, the situation gives you goosebumps as the crime crosses all the levels. It is to be claimed that TMC goons in which most of them are Illegal immigrants from Bangladesh India border which is having fake aadhar, id cards give these goons a mask of Indian Citizen where they did open crime on day and night continued to 2- 3 days where mass murders, open gang-rape and killings of innocent people most are from the village is raised a question that from where these mobs have come. If we look at the significant demographic change of West Bengal where Hindus need to flee from their homes due to alternate but continuous attacks on Hindu homes and colonies. The question arises that how this significant change has been done.
National Security is a wide and broader issue for every country. As India is sharing her boundaries with three countries which are not likely to be a well-wisher of Bharat (India). In this issue, there has been a mandatory situation that Bharat should ensure the legal records of their citizen. Our boundaries should be covered with walls and should be equipped with the advanced model of protection at boundaries. There should be Radar System for monitoring illegal activities. Punishment should be more strict so that nobody will dare to enter illegally. For those who claim that Human Beings are not Illegal, of course, human beings are not illegal but once they did illegal activities or involved themselves in Illegal activities which shook the entire humanity then obviously we need to say human beings can be Illegal. Also, it would be a suggestion that please open up your doors, windows, and break your boundaries in which anyone can enter your home. They can use anything, they can take things off your homes which are earned through your hard -work with many sleepless nights then you will realize the Importance of boundary and security.

These dams enable China to store and release water at will – a power that create droughts and floods. This can and has been inflicting a lot of damage to the countries that thrive off of the river waters originating from China. Thailand, one of the world’s leading sugar exporters, produced up to 30 percent less sugar than in previous years, as Thailand’s sugar output hit a nine-year low. Rice fields were damaged in Vietnam as water levels hit a record low in Laos and Cambodia. About 94,000 hectares of rice fields are expected to be affected because of saltwater intrusion across the Mekong river basin.
The Siang river, one of the tributaries to the mighty Brahmaputra had recently started turning blackish grey before it entered India for which, the Chinese out rightly blamed the earthquakes in Tibet, however, satellite imagery tells us a different story. A major possibility of the Siang river being re-routed to mainland China isn’t an anomaly anymore. In fact, the threat to Brahmaputra is quite real as the Chinese are already in the process of building dams over Lhasa river, another tributary to the Brahmaputra. More dams on the Brahmaputra will invariably affect the Indian commoner, primarily by jeopardizing farming and agriculture in the North East India, home to staple food of India: Rice(Bhat) and also by increasing the risk of floods and droughts.

Smriti Irani, considered to be a top BJP leader who earned the accolades from all quarters of political arena by defeating Congress Scion Rahul Gandhi at Amethi in 2019 General Elections. Her win in 2019 did not come so easily, but she has worked with ground level Panchayat’s to the Farmers in Amethi and her frequent visits to Amethi from 2014 to 2019 have demonstrated her abilities to win people hearts, especially women. Her dedication of working with local people and by bringing industries to Amethi apart from establishing a District Magistrate office at Amethi is noteworthy. Her arduous work had paid off in 2019 by defeating Rahul Gandhi who served Amethi for straight 3 terms but hardly visit his constituency nor worked towards its development.

Her recent election campaign in the state with her command on Bengali language has won the accolades from many. Her speeches went viral during the campaign apart from that as an Union Minister for Textile and Women development, her contribution to weavers and women cannot be ignored. She is known to be eloquent on issues concerning women and so she was chosen to take on another ferocious woman of her kind in Bengal. In coming months, she will be navigating into dangerous waters of Mamata Party’s bastions. and surely, she will make her presence.
