अदालत के लिए केवल एक आवश्यकता यह है कि उसके द्वारा ऐसी प्रक्रिया का पालन किया जाए, जो न्यायसंगत है, न्यायपूर्ण है और न्यायालय द्वारा तय किए गए नियमों और उस पर व्यक्त किये गये जनता के भरोसे के अनुसार है।
A balanced verdict from the Supreme Court
Supreme Court took the glorious opportunity to reiterate its magnanimity by letting off Prashant Bhushan, with a Re.1/- fine, and has made mincemeat of his expectation to become a martyr. Sentencing him was surely necessary, as he was a serial offender.

One can't help but not notice how the these commentators have refrained from bringing in the caste angle, it would certainly have been a point of contention had Bhushan belonged to some other dispensation.

His tweet saying SC is playing an active role in the 'destruction of democracy' is not an opinion it's a claim. And when such a claim comes from a Supreme Court lawyer none the less, it gives a whole other context to it.
