Protests against privatization are just one piece of the puzzle. But it is necessary to see the importance of this step, to both the people who love India, and to those who love the idea of India.

It is ironic that be it the anti-CAA protests or the farmers’ agitation, the opposition has been consigned to the footnotes of the biggest anti-government protests during Modi 2.0.

There appears to be an agenda to malign image of India and destabilize the democratically elected government. They will take up one non-issue at a time and systematically organize fake protests.

There is a narrative being pushed by ‘intellectuals’ in India that Modi and the Hindu movement in general pose a threat to this fundamental pillar of India’s Democracy. That narrative is laughable and deeply flawed.

अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी के नाम पर जो विपक्ष प्रधानमंत्री को अंधाधुंध गलियों की बौछार करता है वही उस विपक्ष में किसी की औकात नहीं की वो योगी जी को एक गाली दे दे, वो नहीं देंगे, क्योंकि वो जानते है 24 घण्टे के अंदर उन पर मुकदमा होगा औऱ अगले ही कुछ दिनों में वे जेल में होंगे।

M Modi has had a track record of achieving it in Gujarat. A business-friendly government led by PM Modi combined with a low-corruption regime is the best shot we have got.

Very few people remember now that a particular, biased section of the media had tried to oust the BJP from power at the Centre in March 2002 itself by inventing an ‘Ashthi Yatra’.
