Kashmir was a safe place for Buddhists, Saraswats and Pandits until it was invaded by Muslims. Its civilization and culture flourished and people used to live in harmony.

There is no other logic except to impose male superiority over women by the maulanas and mullahs who boastfully call themselves scholars of Islam.

hijab is not a choice but a forced injunction on women. We can equate it to abortion ban and restrictions on contraceptives that Christian women face in western and catholic countries.

In the latest controversy, the Islamists are asserting that it’s the “fundamental” right of the Muslim girls to wear hijab in the classrooms on the ground of their faith.

A religion is like a Mexican wave, when a huge group of people performs the wave, they show a beautiful symphony and wave of joy, because they do it by their choice.

Marital rape is infringing the fundamental right to live with dignity under article 21 of the Constitution of India. It is the duty casted upon the state to make proper norms to make marital rape as penal offence and criminalize this act.
