Article 370 - What happens in Kashmir valley after 3 years

Political rumours in J&K have developed a pattern now – they are preceded by feelers out of New Delhi and succeeded by meetings at the Gupkar Road.

As a 24 year old I am convinced that for our country to grow and prosper, we need to learn from our history, protect, promote our heritage, celebrate and be proud the culture we belong to, believe in the civilization we come from and most importantly keep challenging the status quo which entails questioning wrong practices and have the gumption to change them.

Was abrogating 370 an error? Only played for BJP/RSS’ Far-Right Hindutva gallery? Is it not going to be helpful to facilitate Pandit’s return? Let's examine.

Mr. Abdullah called Modi-Shah as fascists for abrogating article 370. He probably forgot that article 370 was abrogated not just by Modi and Shah but by majority in both houses of India's parliament after due discussion/debate and Indian President signed the bill.

We are moving rapidly towards a better and beautiful heaven on earth. People of Kashmir need to be a little more patient and supportive towards the Indian government.

Abrogation of article 370 has generated many emotions, from celebration to anger, from euphoria to despondency, from pride to humiliation, it has seen a wide spectrum of emotions reflected through millions of conversations through social media.

The lockdown of the valley maybe for the noble cause to prevent the loss of life but the mental trauma due to lockdown faced by the people of the valley is far greater than that of the rest of India faced during COVID-19 lockdown.

The Citizenship Amendment Bill addresses and acknowledges the historical wrongs committed against the Hindus. Finally, it appears that we are on the right side of history. However, as history has no end, we would need to keep learning lessons that can judiciously deal with the present and future.
