Under huge pressure from opposition parties and radical Islamist group, Pak FM takes a sharp U-turn from his recent statement on Kashmir issue.
Few days back while giving an interview, when asked about Article 370 and 35A topic FM responded that “This is a internal matter of India. There is also a case pending in Indian Supreme court related to this issue”.
Is this a historical U turn. FM Shah Mahmood says Pakistan has no issue with India’s decision to do away with article 370. Shah Mahmood says this is India’s internal matter. This means Pakistan has agreed to give up its historical stance that Kashmir is a disputed territory pic.twitter.com/3MFObjbTpD

But as soon as this was telecasted not only Pak FM but also whole of Imran Khan govt receives lashes from their people and opposition.
In order to counter this Qureshi tweeted “Let me be clear: Jammu & Kashmir is an internationally recognised dispute on the @UN Security Council agenda. Final settlement of the dispute lies in #UNSC resolution calling for free and impartial plebiscite under UN auspices,” the foreign minister said in a tweet.
Let me be clear: Jammu & Kashmir is an internationally recognised dispute on the @UN Security Council agenda. Final settlement of the dispute lies in #UNSC resolution calling for free and impartial plebiscite under UN auspices. Nothing about J&K can be India’s internal matter.

There are also strong rumors that Pakistan is trying too hard to settle all the issue with India including Kashmir issue because of its financial situation. Pak is in urgent need of loan to lift up their economy. There are also chance of backstage talks going on between Ind-Pak and this can be the reason for the changed stance of Pak minister on Kashmir issue.
