Monuments like the Taj Mahal and Qutub Minar have ironically been in the limelight in recent times. Not for their pleasing looks but for their existential sources. An interesting topic is whether they were really built by the so-called Islamic rulers or were just remodeled by them restructuring the pre-existing Hindu temples and monuments?
