If India plans to show its improved stance towards healthcare to global players, it will have to soon deal with issues such as -Mental Health, Non-Communicable Diseases, Anti-Microbial Resistance and Climate Change- all cases of utmost concern both at global and national level.

By banning cross pathy and positioning AYUSH as paramedical wellness based system and AYUSH vaidyas as health and wellness experts that as doctor, AYUSH can be made distinguishable to humanity.

Modern medical science also believes strongly in auto-healing or the power of healing from within our body to combat several diseases.

The Ministry of AYUSH must take steps at war footing to promote the role of AYUSH vaidyas in private practice for paramedical and mind solace for all NCD patients than cause medication health fraud in society through cross pathy and quackery.

Cross pathy is if not prevented; it may destroy the relevance and values of AYUSH.

It is an open truth that, cross pathy by several AYUSH vaidyas in private practice has only destroyed the credibility of AYUSH and has earned the title to AYUSH called pseudoscience.

The pseudoscience tag has come to AYUSH mostly due to cross pathy by several institutionally qualified AYUSH vaiydas in private practice than due to lack of any science.

Both Siddha and Ayurveda are not just treasure houses of paramedical wisdom but are indeed an inexhaustible mine for humanity to continuously excavate newer and newer healing wisdom.

AYUSH has faith, divine spirit, moral codes, self- discipline etc., than science and experimental proof.

AYUSH emphasizes on aligning the mind-body harmony so that the patient is sufficiently counselled and prepared to deal the health problem.
