Will the guardian angel of Indian democracy, the honorable supreme court, save India and it’s people from the politicians and kill this quota appeasement politics in its bud?

For too long we have debated on the reservation, its basis and the utility it serves. This Constitutional Amendment is an act to provide closure to the concerns of the actual 'needy' class.

The Samajwadi Party has always found BSP, a Dalit party to be a hard nut to crack. On the other hand, RJD or JDU never faced any formidable opposition from the Dalit leadership.

Mevani needs to guard against many aspects of traditional dalit politics if he wants to make a long stride in politics.

Educational backwardness along with caste, should also be the determinant for reservation for holistic development.

It is still to be known that how much the reservation has so far helped the communities like SC/ST in upbringing their life quality. But it is evident that it has helped politicians who stand on ideology that supports reservation.

We are at a point where we can make difference by raising right issues and voicing our support to the current govt. Liberals want us to tolerate their fallacy.
