Judicial Interference in government

Former Justice B.G. Kolse Patil, who was once also accused of sexual misconduct, tries to incite a gathering of Muslims to hit the streets in large numbers without fear to pressurize the current Indian Government.

The supreme court needs to understand that their job is not to govern people, their job is to ensure that the people of the country govern themselves in the best possible way

Is the judiciary right in its interference into government duties, even if its not constitutionally power or its in public interest?
