प्रियंका गांधी ने वाराणसी से या किसी भी सीट से चुनाव इसलिए नहीं लड़ा क्योंकि जब वो चुनाव लड़ती और नामांकन करती तो उन्हें अपनी, अपने पति रॉबर्ट और बच्चों की संपत्ति का पूरा ब्योरा देना पड़ता, प्रियंका गांधी नहीं चाहती हैं कि उनकी और पति रॉबर्ट वाड्रा की संपत्ति सार्वजानिक हो.

कांग्रेस ग्रास के खिलाफ लड़ाई अब जोर पकड़ चुकी है एक इन्सेक्ट (Zygogramma) के माध्यम से हज़ारों हैक्टेयर उर्वर जमीन को इस जहरीली घास से मुक्त किया जा चुका है।

कांग्रेस पार्टी ने लोकसभा चुनावों के लिए अपना घोषणा पात्र जारी कर दिया है. घोषणा पत्र में कुछ भी चौंकाने वाला नहीं है -जो लोग यह सवाल उठा रहे हैं कि घोषणा पत्र पूरी तरह से देशद्रोह और आतंकवाद का समर्थन करता दिखाई दे रहा है, वे शायद कांग्रेस पार्टी के इतिहास से परिचित नहीं हैं.
