Cross pathy is if not prevented; it may destroy the relevance and values of AYUSH.

It is an open truth that, cross pathy by several AYUSH vaidyas in private practice has only destroyed the credibility of AYUSH and has earned the title to AYUSH called pseudoscience.

The pseudoscience tag has come to AYUSH mostly due to cross pathy by several institutionally qualified AYUSH vaiydas in private practice than due to lack of any science.

Both Siddha and Ayurveda are not just treasure houses of paramedical wisdom but are indeed an inexhaustible mine for humanity to continuously excavate newer and newer healing wisdom.

The paramedical and post treatment benefits of Siddha system such as massage therapy, mind therapy, Yoga etc., have great value and relevance even today.

AYUSH has faith, divine spirit, moral codes, self- discipline etc., than science and experimental proof.

Cross pathy should not be allowed to destroy AYUSH tradition in India. AYUSH way of life, India must re-invent soon.

Unless the cross pathy is dealt severely, we cannot either promote AYUSH or achieve total and complete health care where body and mind are taken together in the treatment process.

Forgoing our age-old traditional harmless medicinal science may not be proved to be good for the inclusive health of the nation.

Government must enforce a re-orientation programme to all those Siddha and Ayurveda practitioners in private practice to feel proud about own system and permanently abstain from cross pathy.
