The evolution of life has not happened in a day. Science has documented the multitude of facts that point clearly in this direction. But Sanatan religion has overseen, experienced, absorbed, disseminated and lived with this evolution of life.
In a time when a normal human has no time to look back upon and conceive the greatness and depth of this understanding, unbelievers dominate the discourse and promote absolute ignorance. There is nothing to be offered by other religions on the matters of philosophy, nature, environment and human emotion and how to deal with such deep matters.
What is mentioned in Ved/ Vedant/ Upanishad/ Puran are elusive and beyond the digestible ability of the present materialistic and gullible masses. The two epics Ramayan and Mahabharat are the largest commentaries on ways and methods of leading life. The concept of family systems, role of values and discipline in social life and conflict between morality and immorality have all been explained through small anecdotes. The balanced relationship among humans, other living being and nature has been the epitome of Sanatani civilization and has been very well documented. The Shree Ram- Bharat discourse and Lord Krishna- Arjun discourse contain a larger philosophy of political life than today’s documented method of governance and diplomacy.
Greatness of Sanatan has to be reclaimed today by living society in view of the pervasive biggest misery and privation to human civilization. A single virus Covid-19 has brought the world to its knees. The helpless masses are in forced isolation or to the mercy of time. In no time it has spread beyond the geographical boundaries of most countries in the world. The best of medical and health support systems appear helpless in the face of this scourge. And there is no guarantee of a health rescue or the appearance of another wave of a more lethal and potent version of the virus. Humanity which stands at 770 Crore today is in no position to respond.
Why so!
The Sanatan literature and dictation tells you all. The Human way of life should have a balance of discipline, coexistence and collaboration among self, other livings and nature. The beautiful expression of this synergies can be seen upon the walls of Sanatan temples, words of Sanatan scriptures and memory of Sanatan Smriti. There is cause and effect relationship, a logic a discourse a philosophy behind to do and not to do.
No matter who you are as a Sanatani.
A Spiritual Sanatani loves to explore the relationship between Soul and Life, between philosophy of life and after life. These are the questions yet unresolved by science.
A ritualistic Sanatani loves to follows traditions, custom, ornamentation as defined dictated by Society. Masses who are not in pursuit of abstract finds this path of nirvana their guiding principle.
A Political Sanatani is alert and visionary who does not shed his duty of protecting future generation from political insecurity. The oldest civilization has numerous hostile enemies both within and beyond the surroundings. We must learn from their historical mistake from another oldest religion Zoroastrians and Judaism who lacked Political vision and were almost wiped out or inhumanely prosecuted on Earth.
An atheist Sanatani, yes it sounds unpardonable in other belief systems, but the large hearted Sanatan tradition does have space for atheist and non-believer. The word coexistence explains everything.
You could belong to race, ethnicity, nation or tribe, but as a human you must realize the path shown by the thoughtfully worded Sanatan Literature else Mother Earth and Almighty Nature are under no obligation to supervise the survival of 770 Crore of mammoth humanity.
