Amit Shah uncompromising on Kashmir

It took us 70 long years to undo a glaring wrong and a monumental mistake committed by our leaders of the past but finally that day has come and it isn't a day too soon.

J&K turning into a union territory will help the center to gain a stronghold in the region with the police and other departments under its home ministry.

If J&K wants to remain a Muslim majority state in a Secular country, it is like an oxymoron. Either J&K has to forget its religious identity or else India has to become a Hindu Rashtra.

Abolishing Article 370 will bring much needed economic activity into the region and integrate places like Jammu and Ladakh with mainstream India as they had to suffer because of unrest in few districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Opposition, especially Congress party, talking about CONSENSUS to abolish article 370 should pause and revisit its political history. Did they obtain CONSENSUS for the partition or about crowning first PM of India?

The winds of change have been strong in Kashmir ever since Amit Shah took over as the Home Minister, considered tougher and more aggressive than his predecessor, he was expected to make key changes to BJP’s Kashmir policy.
