The Rangpur Divisional Health Director confirmed the information at noon on Thursday (August 5).
He said six people from Rangpur, four from Thakurgaon, three from Dinajpur, two from Panchagarh, one from Lalmonirhat and one from Gaibandha were killed in the last 24 hours. At that time, 1,849 samples were tested in the department.
A total of 139 people from Rangpur, 64 people from Thakurgaon, 62 people from Dinajpur, 65 people from Kurigram, 48 people from Panchagarh, 44 people from Nilphamari, 40 people from Gaibandha and 21 people from Lalmonirhat were identified. The incidence rate in the last 24 hours is 30.44%.
Since the beginning of coronavirus detection, 2,23931 samples have been tested in Rangpur division. Among the six districts of the division, Dinajpur, Rangpur and Thakurgaon districts were most affected and killed respectively.
