What to believe?

The world has gone bonkers…
Nothing seems real. News manipulated. Food adulterated. History distorted. Influencers themselves influenced by something or someone.

Views biased and extreme (both left and right). Religion used as a weapon to bind people (Any and Every). Leaders more worried about their vote bank politics than real issue(any political party).

Tax Payer totally ignored. Farmers in distress. So what should this new age Millennials (Gen Y, Boomers) should believe in?

Nation? Religion? Politics? Money? Spirituality? God? Because the current status of the world is CHAOS. Truth is also looked at as if it’s doing something wrong in just being told.

THERE IS YOUR TRUTH AND THEN THERE IS MY TRUTH AS OF TODAY UNIVERSAL TRUTH DOES NOT EXIST. Everyone is looking of ANSWER but the biggest problem is of this generation is we do not know the QUESTION.

Our forefathers never had the EXISTENTIAL CRISIS moment this generation is having. They were too busy getting themselves out of subpar life they were in that they never had time to ask these questions or time for that matters. But this generation (Millennials, gen Y, boomers) is different.

Most of them don’t know what they want and for those who seem to have figured life by getting what society expects from them are miserable. This generation was told to follow a path and was promised everything will be ok.

This lesson was given by a generation for whom education was a liberator from poverty and subpar life. For whom education was only way of life that could uplift them.

But in today’s age when information is freely (distorted and biased as it may be) available and technology has given freedom to people which a generation before us could not even dream. Older generation call this generation of millennials Aimeless and for that matters its true for most of us.

It’s this Aimeless that let’s all those questions of who and what to believe drive this generation into CHAOS in form of hate violence and extremism. So the famous dialogue from the film fight club hits this generation more hard than anything else

The line by Tyler Durden goes

” I see all this potential, and I see it squandered. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables – slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don’t need. We’re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war… Our great depression is our lives. We’ve all been raised on television to believe that one day we’d all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won’t. We’re slowly learning that fact. And we’re very, very pissed off.”

Yes that the gist of it- THIS GENERATION IS PISSED OFF

And the most terrifying thing about this is they don’t know who should they be PISSED at or who/what should they believe in? This anger in this generation with chaos creates a deadly combination for violence in form of extremism brought about by those with influential personality for their own gains in power, wealth and fame.

These influential personalities could be political, social, media person or film actors for that matter. They have recognized this anger and instead of helping this generation understand it and deal with it, they are using it to further their influence.

As I said in the first line- THE WORLD HAS GONE BONKERS.
