Today I want to write and not rant. I think that this lockdown has given me time to think while being calm and composed in the serenity of my home, clean environment also adds to the clarity plus due to lockdown I cannot get cigarettes so that also has a part to play in this. Earlier I was only taking in news from India and was not paying any attention to the full extension and depth of the events, that was it. After the lockdown started it gave me more time to spend on news from across the globe and what I’m going to write is what I have noticed.

There is a nexus between corrupt in both private and public sector across the globe in almost all line of businesses operating in finance, land and media. It may sound like a far fetched fantasy however think about it, how is it possible that nationalist movements, be it in India or anywhere else in the world faces opposition in whatever they do, they are opposed even when they do something like taking steps to curb corruption. Let me connect the dots for you.

There have been opposition and statements against CAA, without even knowing what it is all about, then NRC was opposed, when it does not exist on paper even as a draft. Everybody saw the opposition coming from not only within India but from countries which have got nothing to do even with the countries mentioned in CAA, politicians from countries like USA, UK and some other European countries jumped on social media and started to sing in the same tune as opposing voices in India, newspapers started a campaign of articles/editorials and news stories which are far more imaginative than what you think about this theory.

Nationalists across the globe are looked down as being racists radicals with fascist tendencies, the very definition of Nationalism has been changed by popular media which continues to portray Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini as symbols of Nationalism. The popular media has always been in cahoots with far left and together they decide what is right or wrong. I’m not saying that the Nationalists are all intelligent, absolutely not, they have their share of idiots as does the far Left however the left knows how to mold opinion or divert the attention of masses, this is where Nationalists fail.

The left liberals coordinate much better than nationalists across the globe, be it USA, UK, India or Australia or anywhere else. They are proactive and well coordinated from top to bottom, in India they may not have public support but they have the tools of society with them, like popular media including news and cinema, they have students who are ready to march for them any time of the day like we saw during CAA protests. In the west leaders like AOC and Ilhan Omar have so much support with the young population despite of their radical ideology, back home the politicians like them also have similar machinery working for them either directly or indirectly.
