Recalling the protest of 2011, Anna Hazare moment was reaching out to society miffed with corruption charges hitting headlines constantly and emboldened everyone to participate unanimously. And this juncture presented an expectation to nation in name Arvind Kejriwal, who was viewed as Shivaji Rao (Anil Kapoor) of Nayak (Hindi Movie released in 2011).

People support grew swiftly, which could be exemplified from the Delhi Assemble Election result of 2013 and 2015. But the prospect who was tasked to spread wind of change in Indian politics, seems to be splitting off-track in his three (3) years tenure. Occurrence of series of events is compelling same support base to believe that they misread.

Playing appeasement card, charge begun striking Arvind Kejriwal in 2013 when he joined order of leader’s in “Batla House Encounter” inquisition. Later, pursuing “Isrant Jahan Encounter” in 2016 and recently proclaiming to be”Messiah of Muslim”. We didn’t anticipated Arvind Kejriwal satiating in vote bank politics because we believed in him as staunch crusader to challenge and turnaround the system.

In pursuance to target Narendra Modi, he ended up in questioning Indian army honor and allegiance over “Surgical Strike”. Once a companion, Kumar Vishwas disclosed on TV show (Aap Ki Adaalat) that he resisted such amiss move. But political risk impending from Narendra Modi seems to have enforced him in taking such ignominious decision.

March 2012, Lalu Prasad Yadav: “He (Kejriwal) has become senile, he has become a mental case and is frustrated,” Prasad told reporters when asked about Kejriwal’s comments against politicians. But time turns foe into ally, August 2017 Laluji anti-Modi rally and Arvind Kejriwal hugged 900 crore fodder scam convict because it’s crucial to be relevant politically. And needed to reflect in Lalu Prasad Yadav good books post snubbed by Congress in presidential election.

Key promises remained awaiting to see the sunshine, promises from Health ( 1000 Mohalla Clinics), Education (500 schools and 20 degree colleges) to Women Safety (Installation of 15laks CCTV) tall claims seem to be overshadowed by dwarf aspiration to deliver.

Finally, last case which made me welcome him to the “League of Typical Politician” was nominating Ex-Congressman which cannot be swallowed. Its turning to be disheartening case of a leader once contemplated as possibility of change in eyes of millions is fading away as abominable lesson for us.I don’t expect history to be kind to him.
